  • Which mouse for preventing carpal tunnel/RSI symptoms?

    I started getting carpal tunnel symptoms about a year back and have tried different mice/keyboards and nothing seems to help. When my right wrist (i am right handed) started giving me pain, I switched from a regular optical mouse to this logitech mouse: It helped for a short while. I then started to learn using my left hand to operate the mouse. Now, my left wrist has started experiencing the symptoms. Which mouse do you recommend that has really helped you?

  • What is the command line syntax to embed MPlayer in an app window in OS X?

    I know the window ID, and I'm trying stuff like: mplayer -ontop -slave -quiet -wid 471165040 /t.mov mplayer -ontop -slave -quiet --window=471165040 /t.mov but nothing is working. (I know the window ID is correct) Otherwise, mplayer CLI is working great in its own window, just can't get it to play embedded. Can anyone point me to a syntax example of embedding mplayer in an app in OS X? thanks!

I read somewhere this solution, using the accumulation buffer: glAccum(GL_MULT, 0.90); glAccum(GL_ACCUM, 0.10); glAccum(GL_RETURN, 1.0); glFlush(); at the end of the render loop. But nothing happens... What I am missing ?

    Hi everyone! I posted a question earlier regarding obtaining GPU clock speeds, but I guess the thread appeared as already answered since someone had replied to it. I'd been advised by one of your members to try extracting GPU clock speeds using SetupDiEnumDeviceInfo. However, I looked around at some examples, like this one: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/system/DevMgr.aspx and nothing seemed to be displayed about the clock speed.     Wierd.... Late nite I installed Office 2010 Professional Plus. Here I am, the next morning, and Visual Studio 2008 is freezing, like there "was some invisible dialog window", because it doesn't allow me to click on any IDE element. In brief, after I open a ASP.MVC form, suddenly I'm not allowed to click on anything, icon, dock panel, toolbox, nothing... Anyone has this kind of problem?

  • Toggle iPhone tethering by code

    I live in Canada, so am fortunate that I can tether. One issue is that to toggle tethering, you need to drill down four screens in Settings, which is just a big hassle. A Google search returned nothing, so I was wondering if anyone here knew the code to turn on/off tethering? I know there's a toggle for SBSettings, but I do not have a jailbroken phone, I just want to create an app I build onto my phone and have an icon for quickly toggling it. Thanks

  • Searching in Xcode not finding results (searching my source)

    I'm pulling my hair out on this and Google results are skewed since it thinks I want to find out how to code something. My problem is that when trying to search my code with the String Matching box it finds nothing, even if I enter something that is on the screen below. Is it Spotlight that is delivering these results? I'm not excluding anything in my Spotlight index so should I just rebuild the index? Thanks for any help you can offer.

    for %f in (D:\flexcube1,D:\flexcube2,D:\flexcube3) do xcopy %f D:\o\ /e when i use the following code in command prompt, it works fine. but when i use the same code in a batch file, nothing happens. my batch file simply consists of: for %f in (D:\flexcube1,D:\flexcube2,D:\flexcube3) do xcopy %f D:\o\ /e but it does not work. i dont understand it and i have to use a batch file to copy multiple files. any help is really appreciated

    I there a simple way when using ASP.NET 4.0 routing with Web Forms to produce a route that will act as some kind of wildcard? It seems to me that within WebForms, you have to specify a route for every page - I am looking for some kind of generic route that can be used where nothing specific is required, perhaps mapping directly from path to path so... http://somedomain.com/folder1/folder2/page would possibly map to folder1/folder2/page.aspx Any suggestions?
