How to make use of Grails Dependencies in your IDE

Hi All, So I finally got my dependencies working with Grails. Now, how can my IDE, eg IntelliJ or Eclipse, take advantage of it? Or do I really have to manually manage what classes my IDE knows about at "development time"? If the BuildConfig.groovy script is setup right (see here), you will be able to code away with vi or your favorite editor without any troubles, then run grails compile which will resolve and download the dependencies into the Ivy cache and off you go... If, however, you are using an IDE like Eclipse or IntelliJ, you will need the dependencies at hand while coding. Obviously - as these animals will need them for the "real time" error detection/compilation process. Now, while it is certainly possible to code with all the classes shining up in bright red all over the place that are unknown to your IDE, it is certainly not much fun... The Maven support or whatever it is officially called lives happily with the pom file, no extra "jar directory" pointers needed, at least in IntelliJ. I would like to be able to do the same with Grails dependencies. Currently I am defining them in the BuildConfig.groovy and additionally I copy/paste the current jars around on my local disk and let the IDE point to it. Not very satisfactory, as I am working in a highly volatile project module environment with respect to code change. And this situation ports me directly into "jar hell", as my "develop- and build-dependencies" easily get out of sync and I have to manage manually, that is, with my brain... JAVA MySql multiple word search

i have a database in MySql that has a name column in it which contains several words(description). I am connected to database with java through eclipse. Unable to use certain Fonts programatically in ASP.Net

I am trying to programatically create a bitmap with a specified font in ASP.Net. The idea is that the text, font name, size color etc. will be passed in from variables and a bitmap of the text using the font etc will be returned. This is a related issue to my previous question. However, the font family and size have no effect. Does anyone know of anything I can check that might be over-riding the code?

Multiple marker icons, how to add to google mashup

I have created a Google maps mashup, where with a bit of input, I have managed to have a sidebar that links to a video icon/marker that then opens up an info window showing virtual tours. I would, however, like to put different coloured marker icons on the map depending on the category that the video is in. This would be easy enough to do, but my page is made up of a mixture of J-Query and JavaScript all calling to the individual flash files. Could someone help me with the code for adding extra marker icons for different categories? It means parameters is the problem what I want to insert is the number located between brakects of the radiobutton name. Hi All, Ideal situation/setup: A page containing 1 Flash movie and a separate div containing a few hyperlinks. These hyperlinks each have a unique class name like so: Copy code <ul> <li><a href="" class="randomname1"></a></li> <li><a href="" class="randomname2"></a></li> <li><a href="" class="randomname3"></a></li> <li><a href="" class="randomname4"></a></li> </ul> The Flash movie itself will contain 4 buttons. Clicking on one of these buttons should make the Flash communicate with Jquery/JS and tell it to highlight the specific classname. So I am really new to Java and I need a circle to move around JFrame when it's clicked, but the circle has to get random cordinates. So far this code generates a new circle every time it's clicked, but all the other circles stay there aswell, but I only need one circle to move around the frame. Border of single th spreads to neighboring th when colspan set on td row below

And following css: table { border-collapse: collapse; } td, th { border: 1px black solid; } td { border-top: none; } th { border-bottom: none; } th.second { border-bottom: 3px green solid; } th.third { } ? I would expect as result one table with 3px solid green line below the second th cell. Instead of that in Chrome, I have solid green border below both the second and the third th cell. In the firefox, results are just as expected. Is this browser bug, or my code is illegal? align li tags with an auto width vs hard coding

I am having trouble trying to get a group of li tags to align how I want. I have some basic html <div class="menu"> <ul> <li>Item 1</li> <li>Item 2</li> <li>Item 3</li> </ul> </div>? and some css .menu { border:solid 2px red; width:520px; } ul { border:solid 1px #e5e5e5; height:40px; margin:0 auto; list-style:none; width:500px; } li{ text-align:center; display:inline; margin:10px; } I dont want to hard code li widths for each of the elements but I would like for the li elements to take up all available space with the ul element. What do I need to change to get the result I am looking for? My attempt on jsfiddle

How do I stop Chrome from yellowing my site's input boxes?

Among other text and visual aids on a form submission, post-validation, I'm coloring my input boxes red to signify the interactive area needing attention. On Chrome (and for Google Toolbar users) the auto-fill feature re-colors my input forms yellow. Here's the complex issue: I want auto-complete allowed on my forms, as it speeds users logging in. I am going to check into the ability to turn the autocomplete attribute to off if/when there's an error triggered, but it is a complex bit of coding to programmatically turn off the auto-complete for the single effected input on a page. This, to put it simply, would be a major headache. So to try to avoid that issue, is there any simpler method of stopping Chrome from re-coloring the input boxes? [edit] I tried the !important suggestion below and it had no effect. I have not yet checked Google Toolbar to see if the !important attribute woudl work for that. As far as I can tell, there isn't any means other than using the autocomplete attribute (which does appear to work).

How do you Bind to a ComboBox in a DataTemplate?

I have a listbox that is bound to an observable collection of Audio (custom class). The Audio class has two properties, DisplayText (string) and a property called TarpIds (Observable Collection of Integer). I need to allow the user to change the TarpID in the combo box for each list item displayed and catch the selection change. I created a DataTemplate that styles the DisplayText property from the Audio object and adds a ComboBox to display the available TarpIDs for this audio (These are dynamic and unique to each Audio). The DisplayText works great, but I can not get the TarpIDs to display in the ComboBox. Here is what I have so far and thanks for any help. Finding missing files by checksum

Hi there, I'm doing a large data migration between two file systems (let's call them F1 and F2) on a Linux system which will necessarily involve copying the data verbatim into a differently-structured hierarchy on F2 and changing the file names. I'd like to write a script to generate a list of files which are in F1 but not in F2, i.e. the ones which weren't copied by the migration script into the new hierarchy, so that I can go back and migrate them manually. Unfortunately for reasons not worth going into, the migration script can't be modified to list files that it doesn't migrate. My question differs from this previously answered one because of the fact that I cannot rely on filenames as a comparison. I know the basic outline of the process would be: Generate a list of checksums for all files, recursing through F1 Do the same for F2 Compare the lists and generate a negative intersection of the checksums, ignoring the file names, to find files which are in F1 but not in F2. I'm kind of stuck getting past that stage, so I'd appreciate any pointers on which tools to use. I think I need to use the 'comm' command to compare the list of file checksums, but since md5sum, sha512sum and the like put the file name next to the checksum, I can't see a way to get it to bring me a useful comparison. Maybe awk is the way to go? I'm using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x. Thanks.

In the code sample above I have 2 Label controls with their contents set to an h1 header tag. The first Label is styled using css, and the second with the Label's inline properties (both Labels have identical styling). But the first Label doesn't output properly, it's border is broken. If I replace the first Label's markup with plain "Hello world" text it renders properly, but it breaks again when I use markup. Can someone explain why this is happening?

I have a list like this: <ul> <li id="adm-thumb" onclick="javascript:addBanner('bowling.jpg');"> <div class="adm-tick"></div> <img src="img/banners/bowling.jpg" /></li> <li id="adm-thumb" onclick="javascript:addBanner('kcc.jpg');"> <div class="adm-tick"></div> <img src="img/banners/kcc.jpg" /></li> <li id="adm-thumb" onclick="javascript:addBanner('paintballing.png');"> <div class="adm-tick"></div> <img src="img/banners/paintballing.png" /></li> </ul> <input id="bannername" type="text" /> When one item is clicked, the value inside the addBanner() will be added to the input field, however, I want one list to be selected (which is done by css to make it look like it has) when it is equal to the value of the input value. If the value is equals to the value in the addBanner value then the clicked item should have a red background. e.g. function addBanner(label) { var Field = document.getElementById('bannername'); Field.value = label; if(Field.value != label) { // I have no idea what to put here } } Something like a div button that acts like a radio button.

How to count li which does not have ul ?
