• iBatis multiple parameter mapper method

  Hi, Let's say I have a query getUser with two parameters - userName and password. I'd like to have a mapper method looking like this: public UserBean getUser(String userName, String password); Is there any way I can achieve something like that? Or maybe I should pass in my mapper method map of parameters (and some parameterMap in my xml mapper)? public UserBean getUser(Map<String, Object> paramMap); I'm looking forward for some hints and explanations.

• RenderAction not finding action method in current controller in current area

  I'm creating an ASP.NET MVC 2 (RTM) project that uses areas. The Index action of the Home controller of one area needs to use RenderAction to generate a sub-section of the page. The action called is also defined in the same Home controller. So the call should just be: <% Html.RenderAction("List") %> However, I get an exception: A public action method 'List' was not found on controller 'RareBridge.Web.Areas.Events.Controllers.HomeController'. Note that I'm not in the "Events" area! I'm in a completely different area. If I remove the "Events" home controller, then the exception still occurs but names a different controller (still not the one I want it to call). I've also tried providing the controller name and area to the RenderAction method, but the same exception occurs. What is going on here? BTW: I am using Autofac as my IoC container

  Hi Guys, please help µe as I am new into accessing an unmanaged DLL from C#.. I have a large unmanaged DLL in C++ and I am trying to access the DLL's classes and functions from a C# Web Service. I have seen many examples how to use DLLImport, but for some reason I am stuck with my very first wrapper method spending many hours with no luck.. What should I do to return an object in my 'Marshaled' [DllImport..] function? I've gathered that i need to use the plugin's addMethod() function, but how exactly to have it do what i need... Here i am! My form 's first question is a radio input choice. Each radio input, if selected, shows a sub-question of several checkboxes. What i would like my validation to do is: - make sure one radio input is selected - make sure at least one checkbox pertaining to the radio input is selected. Basically, out of the validate plugin's own logic, i would count the selector's length, and if there isn't any, return the error message. I'm fairly new to Ruby, and I'm not sure if I need to convert this to something else, or what.   In my View (using Zend_View so the the view is an object), I make calls to object properties and methods to populate the template like so: <?= $this->user->name ?> // Outputs John Doe <br/> <?= $this->user->getCompany()->name ?> // Outputs Acme <br/> <?= $this->method() ?> // Outputs foobar If I make it so that all property requests (like for 'user') go through __get() is there any way that I can catch the subsequent calls so that I can force a method call on the final outputted value? For example so that I could do automatic escaping of output. As I see it right now, I either have to escape the input as it goes into the database or use compiled templates like Smarty does, or switch to assigning every variable to the View object so that it has direct control to force escaping before outputting the data.

  I am making a software as a service using Spring 3.0 (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Roo, Hibernate) I have to come up with a flexible access control list mechanism.I have three different kinds of users System (who can do any thing to the system, includes admin and internal daemons) Operations (who can add and delete users, organizations, and do maintenance work on behalf of users and organizations) End Users (they belong to one or more organization, for each organization, the user can have one or more roles, like being organization admin, or organization read-only member) (role like orgadmin can also add users for that organization) Now my question is, how should i model the entity of User? If I just take the End User, it can belong to one or more organizations, so each user can contain a set of references to its organizations. But how do we model the users role for each organization, So for example User UX belongs to organizations og1, og2 and og3, and for og1 he is both orgadmin, and org-read-only-user, where as for og2 he is only orgadmin and for og3 he is only org-read-only-user I have the possibility of making each user belong to one organization alone, but that's making the system bounded and I don't like that idea (although i would still satisfy the requirement) If you have a better extensible ACL architecture, please suggest it. Since its a software as a service, one would expect that alot of different organizations would be part if the same system. I had one concern that it is not a good idea to keep og1 and og2 data on the same DB (if og1 decides to spawn a 100 reports on the system, og2 should not suffer) But that is some thing advanced for now and is not directly related to ACL but to the physical distribution of data and setup of services based on those ACLs This is a community Wiki question, please correct any thing which you wish to do so.   I've got 2 methods. One method starts playing an audio file (.mp3), the other method updates a UIToolBar to show a button (PLAY or PAUSE). These two methods are called in the following order: //Adds some UIBarButtonItems to a UIToolBar [self togglePlayer]; //Uses AVAudioPlayer [audioPlayer play]; I call the methods in the above order so that the (pause) button will be shown at the time the song starts playing. But, the problem is that the song starts playing first, and the UIToolBar remains unchanged for quite a while (from 2 to 5 secs) until the button is added and shown. What I want is for the button to be shown at the same time the song starts playing (i.e. NO DELAY). Is there any way to do this?

• Ubuntu VM Guest - Samba Service Not Accessible from VM Host via Hostname

  I have a Windows 7 Workstation with a Ubuntu 10.10 VM running in Virtual Box 3.2.12 r68302. I recently updated Samba and winbind, and since the update, I am unable to access the machine via it's hostname (\mystique) from the VM Host. I can access it by the "Host-only" IP (\192.168.56.101) and the DHCP Assigned IP address (\10.1.1.20) and I can connect to the webserver on the machine via it's hostname (http://mystique/). As stated, accessing this machine via it's hostname worked fine prior to the update, but has since stopped working. I have added the hostname to the smb.conf for the netbios name, to no avail. • Mysql password hashing method old vs new

  I'm trying to connect to a mysql server at dreamhost from a php scrip located in a server at slicehost (two different hosting companies). I need to do this so I can transfer new data at slicehost to dreamhost. Using a dump is not an option because the table structures are different and i only need to transfer a small subset of data (100-200 daily records) The problem is that I'm using the new MySQL Password Hashing method at slicehost, and dreamhost uses the old one, So i get $link = mysql_connect($mysqlHost, $mysqlUser, $mysqlPass, FALSE); Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: OK packet 6 bytes shorter than expected Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: mysqlnd cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using old authentication Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Access denied for user 'nodari'@'localhost' (using password: NO) facts: I need to continue using the new method at slicehost and i can't use an older php version/library The database is too big to transfer it every day with a dump Even if i did this, the tables have different structures I need to copy only a small subset of it, in a daily basis (only the changes of the day, 100-200 records) Since the tables are so different, i need to use php as a bridge to normalize the data Already googled it Already talked to both support stafs The more obvious option to me would be to start using the new MySQL Password Hashing method at dreamhost, but they will not change it and i'm not root so i can't do this myself. The guy at dreamhost support insist saying thet the problem is at my end. But he said he will run any query I tell him since it's a private server. So, I need to tell this guy EXACTLY what to run. So, telling him to run SET SESSION old_passwords=0; SET GLOBAL old_passwords=0; SET PASSWORD FOR 'nodari'@'HOSTNAME' = PASSWORD('new password'); grant all privileges on *.* to nodari@HOSTNAME identified by 'new password'; would be a good start?

• Authenticating Active Directory Users to Mac OS X Mavericks Server L2TP VPN Service

  We have a Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Infrastructure that consists of two domain controllers. Bound to the Active Directory Domain is a Mac OS X Mavericks Server 10.9.3. The server runs Profile Manager and VPN Services. My Active Directory users are able to authenticate to the Profile Manager, but not the VPN. I have found several threads on other forums of other users reporting similar issues, here is just one of many references: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5174619 It appears as though the issue is related to a CHAP authentication failure. Can anyone suggest what next troubleshooting steps I might take? Is there a way to liberalize the authentication mechanism to include MSCHAP? Here is an excerpt of the transaction from the logs.   Hello, I'm currently having an issue with my open result set not working how I believe it should. The only function that is currently working is the next() method, nothing else will work. If the project is placed into a debug mode you can follow through actionperformed event on the button it hits the previous() method and jumps over the remaining code in the method. • Java .split() Method To Split XML Parameters

  I have this line from an XML document: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <svg xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet" version="1.0"> I want to be able to split it up, using the split method. For example i want to save each parameter into a String array. So i'd like: contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" etc etc to be saved into a string array, is there anyway to do this using the split method, or can anybody suggest an easier, more efficient way to do this?
