    I have an aggregated table: > aggdata[1:4,] Group.1 Group.2 x 1 4 0.05 0.9214660 2 6 0.05 0.9315789 3 8 0.05 0.9526316 4 10 0.05 0.9684211 How can I select the x value when I have values for Group.1 and Group.2? I tried: aggdata[aggdata[,"Group.1"]==l && aggdata[,"Group.2"]==lamda,"x"] but that replies all x's. More info: I want to use this like this: table = data.frame(); for(l in unique(aggdata[,"Group.1"])) { for(lambda in unique(aggdata[,"Group.2"])) { table[l,lambda] = aggdata[aggdata[,"Group.1"]==l & aggdata[,"Group.2"]==lambda,"x"] } } Any suggestions that are even easier and giving this result I appreciate!

  • Item-Level Permissions (Edit only their own but, read everyones)...

    I have a list which I've set item-level permissions on. I set it to allow users to read all items and only edit their own items... The issue is that if I do this then I can still edit all items... If I change it so that I can only read my own and only edit my own then it works as expected... Anyone have any thoughts on why this would be occurring and a solution... I've set the list up to only allow one user account with contribute rights for testing purposes...

Is there a way to set the Lists property to search both at the same time?

    Hello, I am getting item by getiembyid...but I want to check before using it that whether item exist or not...I don't want to use query as main purpose of using Getitembyid is performance.....any idea how to achieve this... itemid = Response.QueryString["loc"]; SPList mylist = myweb.GetList(SPUrlUtility.CombineUrl(myweb.ServerRelativeUrl, "/Lists/Location")); //now id itemid does not exist it throws exception...so i want to check before using following statement that itemid exist...I know i can check throw SPQuery but as i said above because of performance issue only i m using itemid....     Hey, I am onto a task in which i have to create a link in a doccument library either upload or new link,clicking on which a form/page "not infopath" will get open and allow to upload the doccument and along with that we have some text boxes on the same page which will be asking for the properties of the doccument(like "Customer of the doccument","content Developer") and after filling up all of the things when user click on submit than in the doccument library the value of the url as well as properties comes into the columns/fields of the doccument library. Can anyone have the solution for this?

    hi, Help plz! How can I make a webpart that has a button called "Create Site" and it programatically create a site (using my own custom template e.g. Mytemplate.STP) ? The reason is of such task is, I dont want user to go into "Sites Action" - create Site - and then fill the whole form. So i added the handler to code behind: m.WebPartMoving += new System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.WebPartMovingEventHandler(m_WebPartMoved); but it's not working...what could be the reason?

  • Creating Wiki Pages through code or CAML

    We are trying to create a site definition that includes a wiki page. Basically we are trying to figure out how to replicate the same process that happens when a user chooses to create a new page in a blank site, and the system says something along the lines of: "In order to create wiki pages on this site, there must be a default wiki page library and site assets library. Would you like to create those document libraries now?" When the user chooses yes, the system provisions those libraries as well as a few "howto" wiki pages. If anyone knows how to trigger that roll-out though code or CAML, we would appreciate the help.

    Hi, I am trying check if the inner html of the element is empty but I wanted to do the validation on the server side, I'm treating the html as a string.     I have a web application setup with a load balancer and auto scaling group to manage scaling. The source code is in a git repository so I don't have to update the images when the code changes, but occasionally the environment changes so we create a new image. Then that image needs to be cycled into the auto scaling group. Is there a way to cycle the images automatically? Right now I schedule a scale up and scale down action which gets rid of the old instances.

Is there any way to HIDE a file/directory from a specific user/group? I'm not talking about not being able to read, change dir to it. I want to completely hide it from the specific user/group (not to show up on ls -la).

  • Are EC2 security group changes effective immediately for running instances?

    I have an EC2 instance running, and it belongs to a security group. If I add a new allowed connection to that security group through AWS Management Console, should that change be effective immediately? Or perhaps only after restart of the instance? In my case, I'm trying to allow access to PostgreSQL's default port (tcp 5432 5432 0.0.0.0/0), and I'm not sure if it's the EC2 firewall or PostgreSQL's settings that are refusing the connection.

    I'm using Firefox 8.0 and am enjoying the Group your tabs feature: But I'm not always good at keeping it organized. I'm trying to find a way to automatically put certain domains in certain groups. Probably through a plug-in? All the tab related plug-ins just help cluster your tabs together and don't actually work with the "Group your tabs" feature (which is why I posted the picture, to avoid ambiguity, since grouping tabs can refer to a lot of things).
