• CAC Client Application Authentication in Python

  I am building a python application to pull data from a website. The application has to authenticate(HTTPS/SSL) with a CAC card and pin in order to make requests. Am I correct in my assumptions that you can't retrieve the private key from a CAC card, and am therefore stuck using a PKCS #11 Wrapper like PyKCS? Any tips or resources for going about this?

  Hi, In a View, I've created a <form> that posts some data to another Controller, which is different from that one that redirected me to the View. In this second controller, i perform some data validations and then, if errors are found, I need to redirect the user again to the source View but with the edited ModelState (so that i can show the validation errors).   I was wondering if there's an implementation of a XML schema reader that for an arbitrary node in XML schema provides list of nodes which are supposed to be present as child nodes of given node, restrictions on nodes and so on. I'm planning to program it for my purposes but I would like to know if it isn't solved somewhere. I really need only a small subset what I described above. Thanks for tips!

• remove utf-8 figure spaces with php

  I have some xml files with figure spaces in it, I need to remove those with php. The utf-8 code for these is e2 80 a9. If I'm not mistaken php does not seem to like 6 byte utf-8 chars, so far at least I'm unable to find a way to delete the figure spaces with functions like preg_replace. Anybody any tips or even better a solution to this problem?

  Any tips How to figure out where is memory leak in my Facebook app, its ASPX using Facebook toolkit DLL and I am afraid the bug may be in that CS library. The problem is that after one week uptime, server is running out of memory and needs to be rebooted, there are quite many users and I cannot run debugger on this "production server", so I would need to simulate somehow use on my local PC.

I take a backup of the database in production and restore it in test and when I perform the exact same scenario that yields deadlocks on the production server I am unable to reproduce in test. any ideas/tips/hints would be much appreciated.

  I'm looking for some good tools that help to share tips, best practices, company standards, etc. amongs developers in my company. Two tools I'm currently considering are a wiki (screwturn wiki) or Sharepoint 2010. I'm wondering if there is something better suited to the task, or any input anyone has on this subject. I'd prefer something that's windows based (i.e. runs on IIS, can authenticate users against Active Directory etc) but I am open to anything.
