  • Setup Project in Visual Studio 2010 Requires .NET 4.0

    When setting up a Setup Project in Visual Studio 2010 and even to I removing all the prerequistes .NET 4.0 is still required on the computer that runs the Installation. Deploying with ClickOnce works but is not an option, but at least it doesn't ask for .NET 4.0. Is there a way to create a Setup Project in Visual Studio 2010 that doesn't require .NET 4.0 on installation? Edit This is one of the test configurations i've tested And this is what it looks like when I run setup.exe or the .msi

I used Eclipse's WSDL GUI Editor to generate a WSDL file (CalculatorWSDL.wsdl) which uses the SOAP method for communication. I also used wsdl.exe to generate a C# file (Calculator.cs). Now, I'm not sure what to do next. How do I actually use the Calculator.cs on the server and/or client?

    My target is to send keyboard events to external application. From my application, I'm launching a C# exe (console application) that bring the target application to the front and uses SendKeys.SendWait to send keyboards events. I ran into a rate case were the command don't have any affect. When debugging it, it works but when running it not in debug it fails. I think it as something to do with the fact that when debugging my application is the active application.

    I know this isn't (exactly) code related. But I just wanted to find out if someone knows where I can download the full version of Visual C# 2010 Express ? When you go to MS website you can download an exe. That then downloads the rest of the files. I have an offline pc, so I want to download it from a PC that is online, put it on a flash disc, and install it on the offline PC. Anyone that can point me in the right direction?

The Error description is "Records can't be read; no read permission on 'xyz123.mdb'" There is a known issue with the Compact function on some versions of Access MDBs. When I try to install the .exe mySQLdb installer, it can't find python 2.5 and it halts the installation.     I can get the active window's process, but I have no idea how to get the location of that process, as far as I can see the process object only has ProcessName property which just returns like chrome instead of C:\pathtochrome\chrome.exe How can I get the latter because I'm trying to get the process's File Description attribute, but I need the full path to it.

I know how to start IE, just can't make a command that goes to a particular webpage.
