• openvpn: after changing to server mode, client does not create TUN device

  i had a previously working configuration with the config files used in a previous question However, i've changed this now to the following configuration using server mode, everything on the logs seem fine, however the client doesn't create any tun interface, so i don't have anything to connect to, presumably, i need to add or push some route commands, but i don't have any idea at this point what i need to do. • can't open Evolution mail in Ubuntu

  I have an issue with Evolution mail in Ubuntu. Evolution opens up, starts downloading emails asoon as I click on something in Evolution it closes down, I know there are about 2000 mails that need to be downloaded. And sometimes Evolution comes back again and if I click something in evolution it disappears again. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10. This happened since I added two extra email accounts? • my mouse scroll wheel doesn't scroll

  It's only a minor thing but i can't solve it. I have a ps2 mouse on win xp sp3. the wheel has stopped scrolling in all apps however in apps that support it i can click the wheel and bring up the scrolling four way arrows and scroll that way. I've tried uninstalling the drivers and changing the wheel settings but to no effect. It obviously recognises the wheel since i can click it. Any ideas super users?!

• Vista home basic, "this folder is empty" problem

  When I access my itunes folder in "my music" I see most but not all artist folders, when I access any of them I get "this folder is empty", When in Itunes all music plays and if I right click on a song and click show in folder I can see my full Itunes folder, so far I have done two system restores, scan disk, windows memory scan, defrag and tried ifixit. nothing has worked, I dont understand how I can see two different folders at the same address. Also have checked hidden files settings.

  Hi, I have two partitions on a hard drive in my machine that are formatted as ntfs, but must under no circumstance be mounted by my Ubuntu installation (unless I do some preparation first). However nautilus happily displays the partitions, and a single click will mount them automatically. This is very dangerous behaviour, how can I hide the partitions from nautilus and prevent accidentally mounting them by a single stray mouse click? Thanks

The specific attributes that I want to know whether or not they are checked is Open in Low Resolution, Prevent App Nap, and Locked. I looked in the Info.plist file but only generic information about the file was contained here, not which attributes were checked. Is this information contained in the Applications binary? Right click on the computer name (local computer) properties mime types Right click on the "Web sites" folder properties http headers mime types I'm guessing that perhaps option 1 adds MIME types for FTP also? • NetworkManager applet looks like it can't see network

  My system is Ubuntu 9.04. There is NetworkManager applet, but it looks like there are no networks. When I click it, there is disabled menu "Wired Network/device not managed". I have working eth0 interface, internet is working fine and I can see eth0 in ifconfig When I right-click and choose "Edit connections", there is only "Auto vboxnet0" under "Wired" tab. No "eth0". It shouldn't be a problem, but I cannot connect to VPN because of this :(

  In Windows 95/XP/Vista I could click on the start menu, "All Programs", and I would get a list of all my programs. In Windows 7 when I click start menu, "All Programs", I get a single column with a scroll bar - but that's not what I want, I want to see All Programs. How do I do this? I've looked in the start menu options but cannot find an option that appears to show me all my programs.
