  • iPhone SDK: how to switch from a login screen to a navigation interface?

    I am beginning in iPhone development and have followed a few tutorials, but please indicate me if I'm going in the wrong direction. I have implemented my own UInViewController and a login screen view (with its xib). What I would like to do is that after clicking on the login button, it displays the RootViewController.xib, which includes the Xcode's default navigation application template. Is that possible? How?     View1 object, which is UIViewController subclass is the same object as File's Owner of View1 nib. So I should manually set the class in both places, one in MainWindow and another in View1 nib files? This sound artificial to me... Either I'm doing something wrong or there has to be better way.

    I have a web part which uses validation on a textbox field to prevent submission of an empty field. When clicking on Check In to Share Draft or Publish, this validation is done, and since I am not actually trying to submit the form, but rather check it in, I'd rather this didn't happen. How can I achieve this?     I have a lot of classes and want to create some kind of 'directory'. So that I can create menus automatically. Clicking a menu-item would then create an instance of the class and shows the window. What I want for this is an array of System.Type where I can stuff in all the classes without instantiating them. Though from my test and (unsuccessful) googling, this doesn't seem possible. Any ideas?
