    I'm still a bit of a n00b when it comes to NHibernate. Let's say I have the following: var myCriteria = this.Session.CreateCriteria(typeof(SomeModel)).Add(Restrictions.Eq("SomeProperty", someValue); Then, let's say I want to add criteria in a way that's reusable. Meaning, I want to make a custom criterion. I'm seeing very, very little information online on this. Specifically, I'd like to turn the following: var myCriteria = this.Session.CreateCriteria(typeof(SomeModel)) .Add(Restrictions.Eq("SomeProperty", someValue) .CreateAlias("SomeClass", "alias", JoinType.LeftOuterJoin) .Add(Restrictions.Eq("alias.SomeOtherProperty", someOtherValue)); Into the following: var myCriteria = this.Session.CreateCriteria(typeof(SomeModel)) .Add(Restrictions.Eq("SomeProperty", someValue) .Add(this.GetAliasCriterion()); Thus extracting .CreateAlias("SomeClass", "alias", JoinType.LeftOuterJoin).Add(Restrictions.Eq("alias.SomeOtherProperty", someOtherValue)); into a method.   • Good way to create PDF from Office documents in Java

    I'm looking for a good way to convert Office (mostly Microsoft) documents to PDF in Java. I've been looking at using the OpenOffice SDK but from the samples I've looked at it looks like this requires having OpenOffice running in server mode to do the work. Does anyone know of a good way to do this? Good meaning the less external requirements, the better. A 100% Java API would be best, but I don't expect that actually exists.

    Hi there I am not sure if the title has the correct terms, I have a developer and am very new to cubes. I have a cube which has data associated to materials that are broken down into chemical compounds. For example a rock material has 10% of this chemical and 10% of that chemical, etc. Samples are taken daily and sample is a dimension with date, etc. So, the measure needs to average by the sample dimension but needs to sum across the chemical compound dimension (To add up to 100% for example). Is this at all possible?

I have an R script that generates several plots, and I want to view all the plots on screen at once (in seperate windows), but I can't work out how to open multiple graphics windows. I'm using ggplot2, but I feel this is a more basic problem, so I'm just using base grapics for this simple example x<-c(1:10) y<-sin(x) z<-cos(x) dev.new() plot(y=y,x=x) dev.off() dev.new() plot(x=x,y=z) But this doesn't work. I'm on Windows if this matters (Windows + Eclipse + StatEt)

The function is below and the code below creates an array out of a string called type, but what I want to do is pass it a variable string and have it build a list based on that string. So if I wanted the type list I would say list_it("type") But if I try something like getResources().getStringArray(R.array.thelist); it doesn't work.     I have an edit view in my app which is a instance of UITableViewController and contains one cell with a textfield in a grouped table. At the moment this cell is at the top of the screen and is firstResponder so they keyboard is visible as well. But in all the Apples apps like the Contacts App when you edit a piece of information like an Email it buts both of its rows in the middle between the Nav Bar and the Keyboard not at the top of the screen.   • CSS to create curved corner between two elements?

    My UI has an unordered list on the left. When a list item is selected, a div appears on the right of it. I'd like to have a curved outer corner where the <li> and the <div> meet. See the white arrow in the image below. To extend the blue <li> to the edge of the <ul>, I'm planning to do something like this: li { right-margin: 2em; border-radius: 8px; } li.active { right-margin: 0; border-bottom-right-radius: 0; border-top-right-radius: 0; } Is there a better way to extend the <li> to the edge of the <ul>? Obviously, I'll include the webkit and mozilla border radius CSS as well. The main thing I'm unsure about is that outer corner underneath the bottom right corner of the active <li>. I have some ideas, but they seem like hacks. Any suggestions? NOTE that the <ul> is indicated in grey, but it would be white in the real design. Also, I'm planning to use Javascript to position the <div> correctly when an <li> is selected.
