  I need higher precision on a few values within my vertex and pixel shaders...I'm currently using floats, so I would like to use doubles...I've read that HLSL Model 4 has two functions to convert a double into two unsigned integers and back again( asuint() and asdouble() ). These functions are only supported on HLSL 4 and I am using DirectX 9 which will only compile HLSL Model 3 and below...   I have to plot many lines in GNU PLOT.No problem with the X axis. The problem that I am facing is that most of the plotted lines are at yscale [0-0.05] ,few at range 60-70 and rest at 600-700. These numbers correspond to the y axis scale values. But after I plot I can see only 3 sets of lines all messed up. There is no clearity between the lines. Line at 0 and the line at 0.003 look like one single line. If I set yrange[0:0.05], the lines between this range are clearly vissible. But I want all the lines in the same graph. I have heard of breaking axis's and multi plotting..Can they be useful? how to implement them. Anyone pls help me.   I have got a group of radio buttons that when clicked need to display a corresponding unordered list. I have got as far as showing the correct list according to which radio button is clicked but cannot figure out how to hide the other lists that need to be hidden. My problem is that when I have finished to type my login and change the focus to the password field, there is a cursor on the login field and on the password field, but the focus is on the password field, so my question is, how can I make the cursor disappear on the login field ? • Ports do not open after rules appended in iptables

  I have a server that I am trying to setup for OpenVPN. I have followed all the steps, but I see that when I try to connect to it in Windows, it doesn't allow me, it just hangs on connecting, so I did a nmap scan and I see that port 1194 is not open so naturally I append the rule to open 1194 with: iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 1194 -j ACCEPT followed by service iptables save and service iptables restart which all executed successfully. Then I try again, but it doesn't work and another nmap scan says that port 1194 is closed. • Why is iPdb not displaying STOUT after my input?

  I can't figure out why ipdb is not displaying stout properly. I'm trying to debug why a test is failing and so I attempt to use ipdb debugger. For some reason my Input seems to be accepted, but the STOUT is not displayed until I (c)ontinue. Is this something broken in ipdb? It makes it very difficult to debug a program. • jackson failing to map empty array with No content to map to Object due to end of input

  I send a query to an api and map the json results to my classes using Jackson. When I get some results it works fine, but when there are no results it fails with java.io.EOFException: No content to map to Object due to end of input at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper._initForReading(ObjectMapper.java:2766) at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper._readMapAndClose(ObjectMapper.java:2709) at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper.readValue(ObjectMapper.java:1854) at com.jthink.discogs.query.DiscogsServerQuery.mapQuery(DiscogsServerQuery.java:382) at com.jthink.discogs.query.SearchQuery.mapQuery(SearchQuery.java:37)* But the thing is the api isn't returning nothing at all, so I dont see why it is failing. The validator is invoked as expected and works okay, but the errors i set on the Errors objects are not displayed, when i am sent back to my form because of the validation errors.
