  What is the best way to set the RGB components of every pixel in a System.Drawing.Bitmap to a single, solid color? If possible, I'd like to avoid manually looping through each pixel to do this. Note: I want to keep the same alpha component from the original bitmap. I only want to change the RGB values. I looked into using a ColorMatrix or ColorMap, but I couldn't find any way to set all pixels to a specific given color with either approach.

  At present, I'm using something like this to build a list of 10 objects: myList = (from _ in Enumerable.Range(0, 9) select new MyObject {...}).toList() This is based off my python background, where I'd write: myList = [MyObject(...) for _ in range(10)] Note that I want my list to contain 10 instances of my object, not the same instance 10 times. Is this still a sensible way to do things in C#? Is there a cost to doing it this way over a simple for loop?

  Authorize attribute are good to do some access control base on Action but suppose that I have some UI element in the layout that should note be output unless the user is authorize. I could possibly set some boolean in the ViewBag but that is not the good solution I guess.   I want to parse a html-page that unfortunately requires JavaScript to show any content. In order to do so I use a small python-script that pulls the html-code of the page, but after that I have to execute the JavaScript in a DOM-context which seems pretty hard. To make it even harder I want to use it in a server environment that has no X11-server. Note: I already read about http://code.google.com/p/pywebkitgtk/ but it seems to need a X-server.
