  • Compiling .xsl files into .class files

    I'm currently working on a Java web project (Spring) which involves heavy use of xsl transformations. The stylesheets seldom change, so they are currently cached. I was thinking of improving performance by compiling the xsl-s into class files so they wouldn't have to be interpreted on each request. I'm new to Java, so I don't really know the ecosystem that well. What's the best way of doing this (libraries, methods etc.)? Thanks, Alex

    Hi i want to get applcation path in one seperate class used in my XAML,WPF applcation. In Animals.cs, string aPath2 = Application.StartupPath; MessageBox.Show(path); It shws error error CS0117: 'System.Windows.Application' does not contain a definition for 'StartupPath' I have to give data to treeview,im taking that all details from file in applcation path.

  • jar dependencies in android- no class definition found exception

    I'm trying to use the gdata java client library on android and have managed a decent hack to get it working. However because the jar for gdata had some package discrepancies with android I had to import the source into my project. This source is dependent on the JavaMail API and the JavaBeans Activation Framework as specified here. My issue is that the JavaMail jar throws a class definition not found when seeking a class which is in the Activation Framework jar. A stack trace is listed below. I am working in Eclipse and have both jars in a lib folder and added to my build path.     I was reading a tutorial on ASP.NET and third party API's and it mentioned that the API KEY and SECRET KEY should be stored in the web.config file, for security on production servers, instead of in the classes that use them. However, I'm not quite sure what's more secure about a web.config file than a class? I understand the convenience of storing it in a config file, but I don't see the security benefit?

    I'm trying to use GroovyShell to evaluate some snippets of code from within a Grails application, but I don't seem to be able to access our Grails domain classes. For example when I try to evaluate something like this: Eval.me("my.package.MyDomainClass.get(1)") I see an error like this: groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: my for class: Script1 Any thoughts on how I can get this to work?
