• What table is affected by delete when form based on query?

  In MS Access 2003 I have a form whose record source is equal to a query that involves an INNER JOIN. The join is between a location table and a container table. Containers are objects that are stored in specific locations each location and container are specified by ID values. SELECT DISTINCTROW Container.Container_ID, Location.Location_ID FROM Location INNER JOIN Container ON Location.[Location_ID] = Container.[Location_ID] What I am trying to figure out is this …. When I delete a record (using the form navigation controls) in the form based on the above query which tables are affected? Are records in the Container and Location tables deleted or is it just in the location table? Thanks!

• PHP to make vars and values part of array

  I currently have this function to search and replace in a text file. // Input $ect = array('Visssa', 'Lisssa', 'her'); // Placeholders in the file $put = array('lname', 'fname', 'hisher'); // Replace the placeholders $oput = str_replace($put, $ct, 'tmpfile.txt'); This is not the full program but the idea is replace the values found in tmpfile.txt with the ones found in the $etc array. And it works flawlessly. But, what I need to do is get all passed vars (get/post) and then make the arrays so that the var is the value to replace and the value is the value to replace it with. So, if I sent the url http://xyz.com/?lname=tom&ogre=yes All instances of lname in the file would be replaces with tom and all instances of ogre would be replaced with yes. So somehow it just gets any/all variables passed in get/post and then the arrays showed above would cause the var to be replaced by the value in the file.

I have a text file named 'textt.txt' that looks like this: South East asia,2222,code1 winter break,3333,code2 my php code looks like this: <?php $x = file_get_contents('textt.txt'); $y = explode("\r\n", $x); $z = $y[0]; echo $z; ?> the outcome of this is: South East asia,2222,code1 I would like it to return only: South East Asia.   I have been following the answer of this question: How to update existing object in core data? and in the answer it comes across this line of code to update a record within the array: Favorits* favoritsGrabbed = [results objectAtIndex:0]; Now this updates whatever is set a record 0 of the database, no matter what cell I select to edit. I am sorry but I cannot figure out how to change it into updating the cell I have selected. Starting to grow grey hairs here:-) The problem (maybe it is my mindset) is that I am required to give an integer and I am unable to find something to substitute it. Any help would be great.

Assume that we have a table (in SQL Server) like this: Location Velocity Time What is the best way to determine over speed periods (speed barrier is defined) ? My first idea was loading the table into an array, and then iterate over array to find these periods: (Pseudo C# code) bool isOverSpeed = false; for (int i =0;i<arr.Length;i++) { if (!isOverSpeed) if (arr[i].Velocity > speedBarrier) { #insert the first record into another array. isOverSpeed = true; } if(isOverSpeed) if (arr[i].Velocity < speedBarrier) { #insert the record into that array isOverSpeed = false; } } It works, but somewhat "not very effectively". Is there a "smarter" way, such as a T-SQL query or another algorithm to do this?

  I'm trying to wrap my head around this... (it may be simple, been a long day!) I have a database with sometimes multiple similar records... ie. Apples 2008-09-03 Apples 2012-01-01 Apples 2013-10-24 Oranges 2012-01-04 What I need to do is do a query that will show only records that haven't been updated today... So in this case, since Apples has an entry that was updated today, none of the records for the Apples should appear in the results. Oranges should be the only record it returns. I have a query similar to this... SELECT fruit FROM fruitnames where date < CURDATE() Which works to remove the record that was updated today... But it keeps the other records for Apples (obviously)... How would I remove those results as well?

  I am reading a txt file for strings that represent integers. The file is space delimited. I have created an array[10,2]. Everytime the strings 1~10 is found in the file I increment array[n,0] by 1. I also feed array[n,1] with numbers 1~10. i.e. txt file contents: 1/1/1 10/1/2001 1 1 10 2 2 3 1 5 10 word word 3 3 etc.. streamreader reads 1/1/1 and determines that is is not 1~10 streamreader reads 10/1/2001 and determines that it is not 1~10 streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 1 and ++array[0,0] streamreader reads 10 and ++array[9,0] etc.. The result will be: '1' was found 3 times '2' was found 2 times '3' was found 3 times '5' was found 1 time '10' was found 2 times My problem is that I need this array placed in order(sorted) by value of column 0 so that it would be: 1 3 2 10 5

  I have a column using a BIT type (1/0). I have some records are set to 1 and some are set to 0. Those are record flag needs to be reversed. So basically, I want all records with 1 set 0, and all records with 0 set to 1. If I run "Update Table1 Set Flag = 1 Where Flag = 0" first, then I am afraid all record flags will be 1 now, and will not able to know which ones are flag = 0. any suggestions, Thanks!

  I have a UNIX native executable that requires the arguments to be fed in like this prog.exe < foo.txt. foo.txt has two lines: bar baz I am using java.lang.ProcessBuilder to execute this command. Unfortunately, prog.exe will only work using the redirect from a file. Is there some way I can mimic this behavior in Java? Of course, ProcessBuilder pb = new ProcessBuilder("prog.exe", "bar", "baz"); does not work. Thanks!

• index was outside the bounds of the array because of \n (new line) in richTextBox

  If i go into the next line with richTextBox1.Text + "\n" you can't use richTextBox with anything anymore normally. Why not ? because index will be outside the bounds of the array and you won't be able to transport the data into database or work with it normally...it will be all messed up. It is like the story with cin and getline in C++, but much worse. Here you won't see errors, not until you'll try to transport it into database. If you use "\n" to write new lines into txt, your txt will be also unusable. It will look like up to the byte the same as if you would write it by hand same sentences but "\n" will fuck it up. So how do i go into the next line and not have this "\n" screwing up my program ??! How do i go into the new line ?

  Hi, I have registered mydomain.com now i want to redirect to my IP hosting account. The DNS editor shows two fields: Name and Address. In Address i wrote the IP i want the domain redirects. And in Name I wrote mydomain.com. After submitting the form, the page shows this line: Name Type Record mydomain.mydomain.com.   I have a directory structure that looks like this: /expandables - folder - folder - folder - folder - BannerInfo.txt - index.html Each one of the folder has the same exact stucture. One file named BannerInfo.txt and index.html. There are about 250 of these folders if that matters. I want to loop through these folders and store each of the index.html files into an array. Inside of the index.html file is just some simple HTML and Javascript of which I want to read into a string to be displayed later on. I'm struggling with how to filter out only the index.html file from the individual folders. The purpose of this is because I want to randomly select an index.html file and put the contents into a textarea. I thought I could do a simple array_rand() on the returned array and spit out the string. Any ideas?

  I have a column within which are multiple 'records' (each a div). Each record has a bunch of fields (each a span whose id is the fieldname). I want to allow the user to sort all the records based on a field. I also want, the field that has been sorted to be moved to the beginning of the record. So I came up with this. But its really slow for a large sets. Not sure whats the best way to do this.   I have tried googling for the past one hour straight now and tried many ways to search for an array, in an array. My objective is, to find a keyword in the URL, and the keywords are in a txt file.
