  • Authentication system - Return information that have to change every time

    I have a application (made in Delphi) that contains a Authentication system (login & password). This system is in PHP, and the application get results from PHP using HTTP GET method. The system returns 'OK' if login and password are correct, and 'NO' if not correct. Like this... procedure Check; var x: string; begin x:=Get('www.mywebsite.com/auth.php?user=xxxxxx&pass=zzzzzz'); if x='OK' then UnlockFeatures else MessageBox(0,'You're not VIP','Error',0); end; Well, it works fine, but it is very easy to circumvent this system with sniffers, packet editor or proxy. So, I want to get some information (in PHP) that changes every time, and that could be possible get the same information by my application. What can I do? I don't need codes.   • Using .htaccess to change my website URLs

    I have some pages organised like this: http://localhost/index.html http://localhost/download.html http://localhost/contact.html And I need them changed to suit the following URL structure: http://localhost/ http://localhost/download http://localhost/contact Without making sub directories and putting in pages as index.html. As far as I know .htaccess can be used for this, but I have no idea what I need to add to my .htaccess file to make this work. Can anyone provide some help? Thanks.

  • Change form submission (enter to tab)

    I have a real basic form (code below) with a bunch of back-panel PhP. There is a scanner being used to input the data, but instead of tab after each item, it sends an "enter" command. Is it viable to add javascript to cause enter to instead tab to the next form field, and upon the last form field, submit it instead? I have found a few scripts online, but none that I have tried have worked in Firefox/Chrome. I am unsure as to how I would see the error that I assume mysql is giving somewhere, and I've tried everything I could think of. Using double quotes and adding the variables into the statement right away. Adding single quotes to shares and score. How am I supposed to be doing this?

    I have data for many tables like: event_id player finish 1 a 1 1 b 2 1 c 3 1 d 4 2 b 1 2 e 2 2 f 3 2 a 3 2 g 5 Many event_id's, each from 5 to 20 players, finish may be tied. In order to use conditional logistic regression in R I would like to reformat the tables to be like: event_id player1 player2 result 1 a b 1 1 a c 1 1 a d 1 1 b c 1 1 b d 1 1 c d 1 2 b e 1 2 b f 1 2 b a 1 2 b g 1 2 e f 1 2 e a 1 2 e g 1 2 f a 0.5 2 f g 1 2 a g 1 An event_id of 4 players will have 4*3/2 = 6 records in the new table, 5 players will have 5*4/2 = 10 records and so on. If player "a" has "finish" less than player "b" the "result" is 1. If "finish" is equal the "result" is 0.5. If player "a" has finish greater than player "b" then the "result" would be 0.   • Add keyboard languages to XP, Vista, and Windows 7

    Do you regularly need to type in multiple languages in Windows?  Here we’ll show you the easy way to add and change input languages to your keyboard in XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Windows Vista and 7 come preinstalled with support for viewing a wide variety of languages, so adding an input language is fairly simply.  Adding an input language is slightly more difficult in XP, and requires installing additional files if you need an Asian or Complex script language.  First we show how to add an input language in Windows Vista and 7; it’s basically the same in both versions.  Then, we show how to add a language to XP, and also how to add Complex Script support.  Please note that this is only for adding an input language, which will allow you to type in the language you select.  This does not change your user interface language. Change keyboard language in Windows 7 and Vista It is fairly simple to add or change a keyboard language in Windows 7 or Vista.  In Windows 7, enter “keyboard language” in the Start menu search box, and select “Change keyboards or other input methods”. In Windows Vista, open Control Panel and enter “input language” in the search box and select “Change keyboards or other input methods”.  This also works in Windows 7. Now, click Change Keyboards to add another keyboard language or change your default one. Our default input language is US English, and our default keyboard is the US keyboard layout.  Click Add to insert another input language while still leaving your default input language installed. Here we selected the standard Thai keyboard language (Thai Kedmanee), but you can select any language you want.  Windows offers almost any language you can imagine, so just look for the language you want, select it, and click Ok. Alternately, if you want, you can click Preview to see your layout choice before accepting it.  This is only the default characters, not ones that will be activated with Shift or other keys (many Asian languages use many more characters than English, and require the use of Shift and other keys to access them all).  Once your finished previewing, click close and then press Ok on the previous dialog. Now you will see both of your keyboard languages in the Installed services box.  You can click Add to go back and get more, or move your selected language up or down (to change its priority), or simply click Apply to add the new language. Also, you can now change the default input language from the top menu.  This is the language that your keyboard will start with when you boot your computer.  So, if you mainly use English but also use another language, usually it is best to leave English as your default input language. Once you’ve pressed Apply or Ok, you will see a new icon beside your system tray with the initials of your default input language. If you click it, you can switch between input languages.  Alternately you can switch input languages by pressing Alt+Shift on your keyboard. Some complex languages, such as Chinese, may have extra buttons to change input modes to accommodate their large alphabet. If you would like to change the keyboard shortcut for changing languages, go back to the Input Languages dialog, and select the “Advanced Key Settings” tab.  Here you can change settings for Caps Lock and change or add key sequences to change between languages. Also, the On-Screen keyboard will display the correct keyboard language (here the keyboard is displaying Thai), which can be a helpful reference if your physical keyboard doesn’t have your preferred input language printed on it.  To open this, simply enter “On-Screen keyboard” in the start menu search, or click All Programs>Accessories>On-Screen keyboard. Change keyboard language in Windows XP The process for changing the keyboard language in Windows XP is slightly different.  Open Control Panel, and select “Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options”.   Select “Add other languages”. Now, click Details to add another language.  XP does not include support for Asian and complex languages by default, so if you need to add one of those languages we have details for that below. Click Add to add an input language. Select your desired language from the list, and choose your desired keyboard layout if your language offers multiple layouts.  Here we selected Canadian French with the default layout. Now you will see both of your keyboard languages in the Installed services box.  You can click Add to go back and add more, or move your selected language up or down (to change its priority), or simply click Apply to add the new language. Once you’ve pressed Apply or Ok, you will see a new icon beside your system tray with the initials of your default input language. If you click it, you can switch between input languages.  Alternately you can switch input languages by pressing Alt+Shift on your keyboard. If you would like to change the keyboard shortcut for changing languages, go back to the Input Languages dialog, and click the “Key Settings” button on the bottom of the dialog.  Here you can change settings for Caps Lock and change or add key sequences to change between languages. Add support to XP for Asian and Complex script languages Windows XP does not include support for Asian and Complex script languages by default, but you can easily add them to your computer.  This is useful if you wish to type in one of these languages, or simply want to read text written in these languages, since XP will not display these languages correctly if they are not installed.  If you wish to install Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean, check the “Install files for East Asian languages” box.  Or, if you need to install a complex script language (including Arabic, Armenian, Georgian, Hebrew, the Indic languages, Thai, and Vietnamese), check the “Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages” box.   Choosing either of these options will open a prompt reminding you that this option will take up more disk space.  Support for complex languages will require around 10Mb of hard drive space, but East Asian language support may require 230 Mb or more free disk space.  Click Ok, and click apply to install your language files. You may have to insert your XP CD into your CD drive to install these files.  Insert the disk, and then click Ok. Windows will automatically copy the files, including fonts for these languages… …and then will ask you to reboot your computer to finalize the settings.  Click Yes, and then reopen the “Add other languages” dialog when your computer is rebooted, and add a language as before.     Now you can add Complex and/or Asian languages to XP, just as above.  Here is the XP taskbar language selector with Thai installed. Conclusion Unfortunately we haven’t found a way to add Asian and complex languages in XP without having an XP disc. If you know of a way, let us know in the comments. (No downloading the XP disc from torrent site answers please) Adding an input language is very important for bilingual individuals, and can also be useful if you simply need to occasionally view Asian or Complex languages in XP.  And by following the correct instructions for your version of Windows, it should be very easy to add, change, and remove input languages.     I've just installed and configured Ubuntu 12.04 on my machine. I've changed all font sizes, with the myunity tool, and they're now all set to the Ubuntu font size 9. However, I can't find anywhere in Ubuntu a way to change the HUGE dash search/UI font. Any idea on where I can change it? Any dconf/gconf setting option?   • Django IN query as a string result - invalid literal for int() with base 10

    Trying to query a 'Favorites' model to get a list of items a user has favorited, and then querying against a different model to get the objects back from that query to present to the template, but I'm getting an error: "invalid literal for int() with base 10" Looking over all of the other instances of that error, I couldn't find any in which the asker actually wanted to work with a comma separated list of integers, so I'm kind of at a loss.     Here is my original query: $query = mysql_query("SELECT s.*, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(`date`) AS `date`, f.userid as favoritehash FROM songs s LEFT JOIN favorites f ON f.favorite = s.id AND f.userid = '$userhash' ORDER BY s.date DESC"); This returns all the songs in my DB and then joins data from my favorites table so I can display wich items a return visitors has clicked as favorites or not. Visitors are recognized by a unique has storred in a cookie and in the favorites table. I need to alter this query so that I can get just the last months worth of songs.     Currently, I am using the Unity Qt panel in my Gnome desktop of Ubuntu 10.10, and when I press the Meta a.k.a. Windows key, the Unity's dash launches, and I can't use any compiz based shortcuts. Same behaviour is exhibited when I log in to Unity 2D as well, as the Meta key launches the dash. I have no desire to change my Compiz shortcuts, so is there any way to change the keyboard mapping of Unity 2D's dash to something other or disable this shortcut completely?

  • Setting acquired location to a text view: How to maintain?

    Hi, I have built an app for the Motorola Droid which should automatically update a server with the phone's location. After the user performs a particular task on the main activity screen, an alarm is set to update the user's location periodically, using a service. The alarm is explicitly stopped when the user completes another task. Thing is, I have set up a location manager within the main activity's onCreate() method which is supposed to place the first acquired lat/long into two textview fields. Even though the manifest is set up for acquiring coarse and fine coords and I'm using requestLocationUpdates (String provider, long minTime, float minDistance, LocationListener listener), with minTime and minDistance set to zero, I'm not seeing the coords coming up on the screen. With that, I'm not recording any locations on the server. When I seed the textviews with sample coords, they are being recorded fine on the server. I am not at a computer that can run the IDE, so don't currently have the code, but am desperate for some help on this. One other thing is that the main activity screen calls a photography app before the user manually clicks "send data". I'm suspicious that I may need to override the main activity's onResume() method to do this location acquisition. Please help, thanks. Mark.

  • How do I change hyperlink colours in LibreOffice Impress?

    I have a lot of Powerpoint slides that I converted to LibreOffice Impress. The resulting hyperlinks are very faded, very hard to see. I can't seem to find any way to change the colour of hyperlinks as a whole. Any colour change I do make on an individual url link does not hold when converted back to .ppt which is sometimes necessary. I have tried the tools=options=libreoffice=appearance route but it only seems to affect the very first hyperlink in the slide set
