  • Better way to implement custom views in a listview with simpleadapter?

    I have a value called tags which is a comma separated list of words. I want to put this into nicely designed "tag-buttons". The below works.   • With custom binding for Masonry how would I resize the container appropriately

    Based on the suggestion give here, and the information given here on how to make a custom bindingHandler for a forEach, I decided to attempt to write my own custom binding for a forEach and Masonry. Because the elements are added on the fly the redrawing and moving around of elements to fill the space doesn't occur. So, this functionality needed to be moved after the elements have been rendered or called after each item has been added.     I have a group of categories where the slug of each has a prefix "mycat-" and I would like to insert code into my sidebar.php file to create a custom sidebar widget that lists all categories except those preceeded by "mycat-". Any help much appreciated.     hi, I am trying to remove two viewcontrollers (that have been added on top of each other) with one method. I have made the views in interfacebuilder. they all have their own .h and .m files to go with it. Scenario I am in: I have a main menu which has the view2 header file imported. In a method I add the second view on top of the superview like so view2ViewController * view2 = [[view2ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"view2ViewController" bundle:nil]; [self.view addSubview:view2.view]; then in view 2 I have added the view 3 header file so i can add view 3 as a subview ontop of view2. i have another method which is connected again to interface builder to a UIButton so upon button press a method gets called in view2 which adds view 3 on top in exactly the same way like so: view3ViewController * view3 = [[view3ViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"view3ViewController" bundle:nil]; [self.view addSubview:view3.view]; What im trying to solve: I have a button in view 3 which should remove view 3.... and then it should also remove view 2 aswell so the main screen is visible. How can this be achieved? What I have so far: [self.view removeFromSuperview]; This however only removes View 3... but leaves view 2 in place. What needs to be modified so that i can remove view 2 as well?? Any help is appreciated.

    We have a web server hosted out of our office, and it works fine when people access the site from outside the office. The problem is that when people are inside the office and go to the website (www.example.com) it's very slow, as it goes out over the internet and comes back in. Or LAN is Windows with Active Directory and our web server is CentOS with its own internet connection. How can I set when users in my office want see website opens it from local network instead of going out of one internet connection and back in through the other?

    Normally all validation methods is connected to a field, radiobuttons, dropdowns etc. In my case I would like to do a general custom validation that depends on many fields in my form. I dont want one field of them to become highlighted like a normal "required", i would rather just show a message in the errorcontainer. Is there a simple way to do this I have overlooked?

  • Flash Builder 4 "includeIn" property causing design view error

    I am creating a custom TextInput component that will define an "error" state. I have extended the TextInput class to change the state to "error" if the errorString property's length is greater than 0. In the skin class, I have defined an "error" state, and added some logic to detect the size and position of the error icon. However, if I have this code at the same time I use the "includeIn" property in the bitmap image tag, I get a design view error. If I either A) Only include that code with no "includeIn" property set, it works or B) dont include the code to set the icon size and position and only use the "includeIn" property, it works. Any ideas what could be causing the design view problem when I use both the "includeIn" property and the icon size/position code at the same time? The other weird thing is that when i push the cell, the didSelectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath method isn't called.

  • Filter email view in Lotus Notes

    From MS Outlook I am used to have an input field above my list of mails where I can type in a filter string such that every mail not matching this string vanishes. I remember that once - by accident (pressing a weird combination of keys because the window I was actually working in lost focus) - I got something very similar in Lotus Notes. So I think there must be something like this out there, but unfortunately I cannot find it anymore. Does somebody know how to get this kind of functionality in Lotus Notes? Thanks!
