• How do I remove initial indents on numbered lists?

  In Word 2007 I want all numbers in a numbered list to be down the LH margin in line with the paragraphs. When a numbered list is selected, the numbers 1,2,3 are indented by a default 0.63cm. Ctrl-Shift-M will shift this indent back to the left margin. How do I permanently remove that initial indent and save that change to the normal template so that all new documents have zero indent on a newly inserted numbered list? (Same issue in Word 2010)

We only have a single hard drive with a main partition and a swap partition. What tools or methods would you recommend for replacing a hard drive with minimum difficulty and chance of problems?   When I try clicking on a zip file link on a web page, IE 7 tries to open it as an XML document and displays: The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again. I get around this by right-clicking and using Save Target As... Double clicking on a .zip in the file system opens my zip program without problems. How do I fix this problem?

  Hello, I use Snow Leopard at home and work and recently realized that the documents I create in iWork Pages 09 don't look good in Adobe Reader. I go about creating a regular document and 'Print' - Save as PDF in Pages in OS X. The saved PDF file looks great in Preview in OS X but it looks pretty bad in Windows' Adobe Reader and even Adobe Acrobat in OS X. Is there something I could do to make it look better on both platforms? Thank you.

My question is: I want to be able to take my VM home with me, the problem is the VM is 30GB, and it takes about 30 minutes to copy that much data to my external HDD. When I start my laptop, Windows does not boot but instead Windows System Recovery starts. I've used diskpart to list the partitions on the drive and my system partition (c:) has a RAW filesystem. I really need to save all data on the disk as fast as I cant and I would really like not to have to reinstall my system.

Rather than having to load up the original image each time and do the cropping of each area and saving.
