    Hello, friends Who knows, why in vb.net WinForm projects the designer by default use the Friend WithEvents attributes and in C# - private ones. By ex, in a form.designer. .cs private Label Label1; .vb Friend WithEvents Label1 as Label; For WithEvents is more or less clear(for using Handles, apparently). But why Friend in VB and private in C#... Thanks.

    Hello Stackoverflowers, I am writing my own custom Identity class which implements IIdentity. I don't need to change the default method IsAuthenticated but so now I was wondering how does the default IIdentity determines if it should return true or false?   • Unable to find CFNetwork in XCode

    Hello, I am trying to use CFNetwork in my app so I tried adding CFNetwork.framework from the Edit Target dialog in XCode. The interesting thing is that CFNetwork is not visible in the dialog box at all. Am I missing anything? Do I have to add/install CFNetwork in some other way? Screenshot - Thanks in advance.

There is an event in my application that will cause a function to generate and display the said JDialog. Now, I want to know if the user has closed that JDialog. How do I find this out? P.S. My defaultCloseOperation is JDialog.DISPOSE_ON_CLOSE.

  • Error while installing a .net setup executable locally

    Hello I have created a setup for my windows application in .NET 2008 After building the same i have the .msi and setup.exe files in my release folder. The problem i am facing is : I can install the application using the msi installer files from the shared network folder. But when i copy the installer locally and tried to install it, i get the following error: Error reading file.Please Try again. Actually this code worked but now don`t know what I changed: <ComboBox DisplayMemberPath="{Binding Path=CustomerName}" SelectedIndex="0" ItemsSource="{Binding CustomersViewModel}" /> Customers is a ObservableCollection The same code works fine with a ListBox just using DisplayMemberBinding instead of DisplayMemberPath. What is wrong?

    Hello I've got supervisor's status output, looking like this. frontend RUNNING pid 16652, uptime 2:11:17 nginx RUNNING pid 16651, uptime 2:11:17 redis RUNNING pid 16607, uptime 2:11:32 I need to extract nginx's PID. I've done it via grep -P command, but on remote machine grep is build without perl regular expression support. Looks like sed or awk is exactly what I need, but I don't familiar with them. Please help me to find a way how to do it, thanks in advance.

I am quite happy with the result as I managed to integrate it with the ms build process etc. The problem with Selenium tests is that they are not always reliable especially if you browse with something else than Firefox.   • VS2010 - RiaServices - A project with that name is already opened in the solution

    Hello, The problem started after installing RiaServices Toolkit Dec 2010. If I unload the project and reload it again, I get this message, even on an empty Silverlight project (no changes made to the project file). "error : A project with that name is already opened in the solution." The solution has only 2 projects: the host (web) and the silverlight one. Any help is appreciated :) UPDATE: It only happens if I give the Silverlight project the same name as the solution.
