• Adding a subject line to mail address in ReCaptcha Mailhide

  I'm not sure if this can be done. I was looking to for a way to add a subject line to an email address hidden via reCaptcha Mailhide. Usually we have a mailto tag which include a subject like so:- <a href="mailto:[email protected]">The text of your link</a> However when we use recaptcha mailhide, we encrypt the email address and the reCaptcha decrypts it for us on completion of the captcha (sort of) So nowhere am I actually setting the subject of the email. Is there a workaround for this?

• Django development server serving css but not js

  I am developing a django (1.4) app on my local machine. I am running the built-in development server with python manage.py runserver. In base.html I have: <link href="{{ STATIC_URL }}bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <script src="{{ STATIC_URL }}boostrap-dropdown.js" type="text/javascript"></script> boostrap.css loads just fine when I load a page, but bootstrap-dropdown.js is 404'd. They are sitting right next to each other in my static directory. Relevant parts of settings.py: STATIC_URL = '/static/' STATICFILES_DIRS = ( '/home/username/projects/projectname/static',) Debug is set to True. I have tried it both with and without the staticfiles_urlpatterns trick. Django can find one file in the directory but not the other? I think I'm going crazy.

• IE7 preventDefault() not working on skip links

  I currently have skip links that jump to the div ids and was using e.preventDefault() to stop the url from changing when jumping to the element but in IE7 and IE8 it doesn't work at all using e.preventDefault() and if I take it out the url changes to the div the anchor tag contains reference to. Is their any fix or way around this? • Redirect to hash URL

  I'm building a site with a hashchange on wordpress, all working good. It just loads a single.php template file into a div. The problem is that i can still access my single url (http://www.mydomain.com/my-single-post). Since its not having any head and style tags with it, i don't want people to go over there. Also google has picked up the direct links, because I use the href attribute to load content into the div. So my question is: If someone clicks a link lets say in a forum, http://www.mydomain.com/my-single-post , is it possible to redirect him instantly to http://www.mydomain.com/#my-single-post ? I have researched that it has something to do with .htaccess, but I also have Pages, where i don't want the hash infront of the page-name.

• Make 2 links same height in columns?

  I have a setup where i have a unordered list on a page with x <li><a href="#">Link text</a></li>. They are via CSS set to 50% width each, so that i have 2 items on each line. My problem is that 2 links on one line, can vary in height as they have different link text. My question is; how can i, via jQuery, set the same height for each (the a is styles with a border bottom, so it would look best if they alined) on the same line? But not all in the sections should have the same height, only on a "pr line" basis. Hope it makes sence :)

• Is it possible to create a link that acts like a button and can carry out a function when clicked?

  In PHP, I want to execute a function when a hyperlink is clicked. The only way I can think of doing this is by having the link attach a get parameter to the url when clicked and by doing an if statement that checks to see if that parameter exists and if so then have the function executed. But is there a way to do this like: <a href='#' onclick='<?php functionName(); ?>'> Obviously there are a million things wrong with this example but is it possible in any other way?

• Firefox back issue

  Hello, I am using a menu that switches from standard state to select state for an item by reading the current url var where = document.location.href; My issue is that when using Firefox, if I switch to some items from the menu (for instance, I click home, donwload, contact) and press the back button the url is not read correctly so 2 items remain on the selected state. This only happens in Firefox (I've tested already in Explorer, Chrome and Opera) So what I'm trying to ask: is there a way to handle the so called back button action in/for Firefox so I can fix my menu issue ?

• Button height rendering inconsistency in Firefox - why are input elements taller?

  Consider the following two elements: <button type="submit" class="button">Test</button> <a href="#" class="button">Test 2</a> ...which use the following style definition: .button { background-color: yellow; color: white; border: 1px solid orange; display: inline-block; font-size: 24pt; padding: 2px 16px; text-decoration: none; } This produces two buttons beside each other with an equal height in Chrome. However, Firefox renders the button on the left with a height 1px greater than the button on the right (the <a>): (I've enlarged the image above by 2x.) What I tried to do without success is when I dynamically create the "button" I attach a function with the input variable containing the div of its instance.   I need to pass a parameter, because I would like to redirect back to the module and query string of the current page. So I can get from showdown/index?id=35 --click--- showdown/vote?id=1 showdown/vote?id=1 --redirect-- showdown/index?id=35 The vote action is not seen. (The redirect method doesn't work as it takes the index.php url only and no actions, and I cannot find a helper in Magento for creating hyperlinks.) Does Magneto have a link helper for this? Example of stuff I want: <a href="<?php echo Mage::Helper->Link->($url, $array); ?> then $array or whatever variables gets sent to the controller.

• Legal Issue: Remove/Hide links on Google Login page

  For the background: I'm developing a device application which offers connection to Google Drive. My end-users will need to login to their Google Account and authorize my application to access their Google Drive. I'm using OAuth 2.0 to do this. But my concern is that I don't want users to navigate away from my application using the links on the Google Login page. Basically, I don't want them to use my application to browse the internet. Question: Will I violate any terms of service/usage if I hide or change the href the links using GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey? The changes will only be on the client side and I won't alter any processing at all. I already checked https://developers.google.com/terms/ but I found no item related to modifying the pages on client side. Thanks in advance.
