    If variable path is empty, and editor.Text is not empty, the SaveFileDialog should be displayed. Now, why on earth is this damn thing failing???     First time posting here so I'm sorry if I mess up. I need to search a string and return any strings containing the search data with the search data highlighted. If my string is Hi my name is and I searched name it would produce Hi my NAME is This is a quick code I wrote that works but it only works once. If I try and search again it seg faults.   • No Properties path set - looking in classpath

    For whatever reason my project has decided it cannot find my transaction.properties file. It is located in the : src/main/resource However it looks in looks in target/classes/ The file also resides yet throws the errors(see below) These all seem to stem from the whole in the init of code I have no acces to which is always fun.     Yahoo uses Ajax to suggest search terms to users when they are entering a search phrase into the search text box. Once the user has entered a search term and then presses the search button, the browser will post the search form to the search results page. I think that Yahoo is making great use of Ajax in this situation because they are helping users find information as well as suggesting alternative search terms for them to try based on what has already been added.

    Given a Range of numbers say 1 to 10,000, Input is in random order. Constraint: At any point only 1000 numbers can be loaded to memory. Assumption: Assuming unique numbers. I propose the following efficient , "When-Required-sort Algorithm". We write the numbers into files which are designated to hold particular range of numbers. For example, File1 will have 0 - 999 , File2 will have 1000 - 1999 and so on in random order. If a particular number which is say "2535" is being searched for then we know that the number is in the file3 (Binary search over range to find the file). Then file3 is loaded to memory and sorted using say Quick sort (which is optimized to add insertion sort when the array size is small ) and then we search the number in this sorted array using Binary search. And when search is done we write back the sorted file. So in long run all the numbers will be sorted. Please comment on this proposal.

  • [Android] How to search and Highlight Text within an EditText

    I've searched high and low for something that seems to be a simple task. Forgive me, I am coming to Android from other programming languages and am new to this platform and Java. What I want to do is create a dialog pop-up where a user enters text to search for and the code would take that text and search for it within all the text in an EditText control and if it's found, highlight it. I've done this before, for example in VB and it went something similar to this pseudo code: grab the text from the (EditText) assign it to a string search the length of that string (character by character) for the substring, if it's found return the position (index) of the substring within the string. if found, start the (EditText).setSelection highlight beginning on the returned position for the length of Does this make sense? I just want to search a EditText for and when found, scroll to it and it'll be highlighted. Maybe there's something in Android/Java equivalent to what I need here? Any help / pointers would be greatly appreciated

  • Inspecting Lucene.NET index with Luke want to replicate NHibernate.Search view

    Hi, I am trying to put together an index using terms, which I specify as a comma separated list. I want to replicate the display in Luke as seen here: http://ayende.com/Blog/archive/2009/05/03/nhibernate-search-again.aspx But my index value just shows as a single field with the comma separate list value. For example: Tags term,anotherterm When I search my index, it will return results if I search with "term" but will not return anything if I search with "anotherterm" I thought the indexing process would break the comma separate list apart into separate values but this does not seem to be the case. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks

    Hi all, I've been learning, working, and playing with Python for a year and a half now. As a biologist slowly making the turn to bio-informatics, this language has been a the very core of all the major contributions I have made in the lab. (bash and R scripts have helped some too. My C++ capabilities are very not functional yet). I more or less fell in love with the way Python permits me to express beautiful solutions and also with the semantics of the language that allows such a natural flow from thoughts to workable code. What I would like to know from you is your answer to a kind of question I have seldom seen in this or other forums. Let me sum up what I do NOT want to ask first ;) I don't want to know how to QUICKLY learn Python Nor do I want to find out the best way to get acquainted with the language Finally, I don't want to know a 'one trick that does it all' approach. What I do want to know your opinion about, is: What are the steps YOU would recommend to a Python journeyman, from apprenticeship to guru status (feel free to stop wherever your expertise dictates it), in order that one IMPROVES CONSTANTLY, becoming a better and better Python coder, one step at a time. The kind of answers I would enjoy (but feel free to surprise the readership :P ), is formatted more or less like this: Read this (eg: python tutorial), pay attention to that kind of details Code for so manytime/problems/lines of code Then, read this (eg: this or that book), but this time, pay attention to this Tackle a few real-life problems Then, proceed to reading Y. Be sure to grasp these concepts Code for X time Come back to such and such basics or move further to... When I search for field:"MY_VALUE" however, the query is parsed as field:"my value" Is there a simple way to escape the underscore (_) character so that it will search for it?

  • Maintaining ISAPI Rewrite Path with the ASP.NET tilde (~)

    My team is upgrading from ASP.NET 3.5 to ASP.NET 4.0. We are currently using Helicon ISAPI Rewrite to map http://localhost/<account-name>/default.aspx to http://localhost/<virtual-directory>/default.aspx?AccountName=<account-name> where <account-name> is a query string variable and <virtual-directory> is a virtual directory (naturally). Before the upgrade the tilde (~) resolved to http://localhost/<account-name>/... (which I want it to do) and after the upgrade the tilde resolves to http://localhost/<virtual-directory>/... which results in an error because the <account-name> query string is required. I'd like to avoid going down the road of replacing everything with relative paths because there are several features in our system that use the entire URL instead of just the relative path. For what it's worth I'm using IIS7 in Windows 7, Visual Studio 2010 with ASP.NET 4.0 and the 64 bit Helicon ISAPI Rewrite. If I switch back to the ASP.NET 3.5 version then it still works fine (leading me to believe nothing changed in IIS unless it's within the 4.0 app pool - when I switch back and forth between 3.5 and 4.0 I have to change the app pool in IIS). Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Okay i'm trying to make ChucK available in exported Processing sketches, i.e. if i export an app from Processing, the ChucK VM binary will be executed from inside the app. So as a user of said app you don't need to worry about ChucK being in your path at all.   • Multithreaded search with UISearchDisplayController

    I'm sort of new to any sort of multithreading and simply can't seem to get a simple search method working on a background thread properly. Everything seems to be in order with an NSAutoreleasePool and the UI being updated on the main thread. The app doesn't crash and does perform a search in the background but the search results yield the several of the same items several times depending on how fast I type it in. The search works properly without the multithreading (which is commented out), but is very slow because of the large amounts of data I am working with.   • Elasticsearch won't start anymore

    I restarted my elasticsearch instance 5 days ago and I haven't manage to start it since then. I get no output in the log file /var/log/elasticsearch/ nor does the elasticsearch binary print any information when running at using elasticsearch -f. I once manage to get this output. The page itself is a Publishing page, and content within the Page Content field is indexed properly and shows up in search results. How can I ensure that content within Content Editor webparts is also indexed? Or do I have to use other methods like additional content fields in the page?

    I've been trying to install mapnik on my computer for hours but what i always get when I import mapnik is ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified procedure could not be found. I'm using Windows 7. The currently installed software is Geoserver from Opengeo suite.     The following SVG path can draw 99.99% of a circle: (try it on http://jsfiddle.net/DFhUF/46/ and see if you see 4 arcs or only 2, but note that if it is IE, it is rendered in VML, not SVG, but have the similar issue) M 100 100 a 50 50 0 1 0 0.00001 0 But when it is 99.99999999% of a circle, then nothing will show at all? M 100 800 a 50 50 0 1 0 0.00000001 0 And that's the same with 100% of a circle (it is still an arc, isn't it, just a very complete arc) M 100 800 a 50 50 0 1 0 0 0 How can that be fixed? The reason is I use a function to draw a percentage of an arc, and if I need to "special case" a 99.9999% or 100% arc to use the circle function, that'd be kind of silly. Again, a test case on jsfiddle using RaphaelJS is at http://jsfiddle.net/DFhUF/46/ (and if it is VML on IE 8, even the second circle won't show... you have to change it to 0.01) Update: This is because I am rendering an arc for a score in our system, so 3.3 points get 1/3 of a circle. 0.5 gets half a circle, and 9.9 points get 99% of a circle. But what if there are scores that are 9.99 in our system? Do I have to check whether it is close to 99.999% of a circle, and use an arc function or a circle function accordingly? Then what about a score of 9.9987? Which one to use? It is ridiculous to need to know what kind of scores will map to a "too complete circle" and switch to a circle function, and when it is "a certain 99.9%" of a circle or a 9.9987 score, then use the arc function.
