Hi, I have a web browser in my access form. I am embedding a gif file on it. but how ever i re size it there is a white border coming in the top and left side. The adjustments take place only at the bottom and right side. So when i embed a gif file with black background i end up getting a white background on the top and left sides, how do i make this go.
thanks

I just started playing with cpp for the first time (using VS6 C++), I created an empty win32 application, added a IDD_FORMVIEW dialog, and now I don't know how to set that dialog as the main "form" for the application. I mean I want the dialog to be the first and main window opened when executing the compiled exe.
Hi. I don't have much experience with C# or VS, but I want to add a property table to a form, like this one:
So that columns are resizable, editable, of different types (e.g. checkbox for boolean) and sortable. How do I do that?
I'm using Javawebparts Ajaxparts and would like to use one axis event multiple times in a form.
Problem is that std:InnerHTML responseHandler takes its target html tag id in axis-config.xml so it seems impossible to reuse the definition when only thing that should change is the target tag id.
Is there a way to set responseHandler parameters on the the page where it is used (in asix:event tag or someting)?
this component is : simply use and you set your e mail address. Later add on your web-site (either flash or html)
When a visitor adds name and mail the PHP form sends the info to your mail.
That's all :)
Hi, so I need the user to write a review about an article or book and send it to a DB via PHP but with some basic HTML formatting.. I mean, I have a form , when the user writes the review, the data is sent but without any kind of formatting, If the user want to write in a new line, the text is sent like plain text, I need to get also those new line breaks and simple stuff.
I know how to use PHP and DB connection, I just need to know how to get those new line breakes and stuff..
I am looking out for a better logic to save the form values entered by user, as the user accidently traverse to nextpage by clicking submit button.when he clicks on back button , the values should exist.please let me know your thoughts.
How do I make a button on a form behave like a button on a toolStrip?
I want a menu-type list to come down. I tried using a toolStripContainer but it is very hard to manipulate to get it to behave as just one button.
Is there an easier way than just putting a toolStrip with one button in a toolStripContainer?
Thanks.
I need to build an application that accepts user input data (such as name, address, amount, etc.) and then merges it with a pre-loaded document template (order form) and then prints this merged document. I can use Windows Forms or WPF for this project.
Any suggestions on how best to approach this? I'm experienced with Winforms development, but don't have any idea how to handle merging the data to the document for printing.
I was wondering in sharepoint what the difference between a forms library in sharepoint vs the central admin page under manage form templates. I am trying to upload .xsn files so that no one can access them, but I don't know if I should upload them to the central admin page or if a forms library will suffice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I have a close button on a form, and I want them to be able to click it but affectively act as a 'Hide' button, how can this be easily done? Is there no way to abort the formclosing event from executing fully?
Cheers
My page has a form that has a text field in it. I'd like to set the focus to that text field as soon as the page loads, so that users do not have to click it to start typing. How can I do this?
I want to generate a tuple of tuple in form of ((x1,y1,x2,y2),...(x1,y1,x2,y2)) where x1,y1,x2,y2 are all in range of (0,8).
Is there any other way rather than the following?
S = list()
for x1 in range(0, 8):
for y1 in range(0, 8):
for x2 in range(0, 8):
for y2 in range(0, 8):
S.append([x1,y1,x2,y2])
S = tuple(S)

Dear Stack Exchange,
Hi, I have built a form input page in HTML that
has an action to post to an ASP handler/processor
.asp file. The form handler/processor .asp file
contains only <% Insert VBScript Here % and no
HTML output whatsoever.
The .asp file was never intended to be a
"web viewable" .asp file like an .asp home page
file or html file would. It's supposed to be
for my eyes only- not the public's however
it does need to take info posted by the public
and do something with it on it's end.
I have used VBScript/ASP3.0 to build the form
handler/processor file and would like to know how
to keep someone from viewing the actual VBScript
in the handler/processor .asp file. I am aware of
obfuscation but I would like to know how to keep
prying eyes from even being able to take a look
at the obfuscated code in the handler/processor
file.
I realize that the server executes the .asp file
first before outputting anything to the browser so
I guess that my main concern is mostly that someone
may could "download" the form handler/processor .asp file,
then view it's contents on their machine.
Assuming the form handler .asp file is where it is,
behind the root, and is on a windows server
(no htaccess approach) how could one protect it so that
it could never be viewed or simply pulled down via
anonymous ftp or something like that?
Is there something like "script only" permissions that
the system administrator could set up for a particular
folder? Remember, with shared hosting I can't go above
the root. If so, would the form still be able to post?
How would any of you guys go about protecting the
asp file in addition to obfuscation? Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
ASP Pee-Wee
