  • How to get regular expression matches between two boundaries

    Hi, I have the following text: started: Project: ProjectA, Configuration: Release Any CPU ------ I would like to get just the actual project name which in this example is "ProjectA". I do have a regular expression "started:(\s)Project:(\s).*," which will give me "started: Project: ProjectA," and then I can use further basic string searching to return the project name but was wondering if there is any way I can just grab the actual project name without doing the extra string searching, maybe using a correct regular expression. What I need is the string value between boundaries "started: Project: " and ",". Any ideas?

    I want to put Reactive Extensions for .NET (Rx) to good use and would like to get some input on doing some basic tasks. To illustrate what I'm trying to do I have a contrived example where I have an external component with asyncronous events: class Component { public void BeginStart() { ... } public event EventHandler Started; } The component is started by calling BeginStart(). This method returns immediately, and later, when the component has completed startup, the Started event fires. I want to create a synchronous start method by wrapping the component and wait until the Started event is fired.     Hi I am using WYSIWYG - jQuery plugin 0.4 for tinymce editor. whenever i am loading the editor, IFrame tag is created which is displayed is getting with textarea tag which is hidden. The problem here is the last character is getting truncated whatever we typed in the editor. I am seeing that hidden tag textarea is getting the value from the second character which is keyed from editor. Please let me know how to resolve this issue. Thanks Srinivas

    Hi, I have a quite simple scenario that I cannot get to work correctly. I have 2 views, CarView and CarWindowView (childwindow) with corresponding ViewModels. In my CarView I have an EditButton that that opens CarWindowView (childwindow) where I can edit the Car object fields. My problem is that the DisplayModule method in my CarWindowView ViewModel is getting called too many times...When I push the edit button first time its getting called once, the second time its getting called twince, the third time its getting called 3 times and so fort... !     I’m getting an HttpRequestValidationexception with this error message: “A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client”. But I have AllowHtml on the property that I’m getting the error. The problem is that later in my code I’m getting the following property to know in witch format I will show my view ControllerContext.HttpContext.Request.Params.AllKeys.Contains("format"). And on this “Param Getter” I’m getting the error. Let’s say my code is similar to the following: public class House { [AllowHtml] public string Text { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } } [HttpPost, ValidateAntiForgeryToken] public ActionResult CreateTopic(House h) { //business code if(ControllerContext.HttpContext.Request.Params.AllKeys.Contains("format")) { Return view; } } How can I solve this? I already try with the ValidateInput(false) attribute on the controller action method. Any idea?

  • How to prevent certain workflows from showing in SharePoint's Workflow.aspx page for a list.

    I have a few workflows associated with a SharePoint list (e.g., Pages). Some are written as SharePoint WF workflows in Visual Studio, but some are no-code workflows created in SharePoint Designer. I programmatically start the WF workflows, but the no-code ones are started manually. When a user goes to "/_layouts/Workflow.aspx?ID=&List=&ShowStart=1" they will see all of the workflows. If I set ShowStart variable to 0 they will see none. If I don't allow the WF workflows to be started manually, then they don't seem to start programmatically correctly. Is there a way to allow the WF workflows to be started programmatically, but not manually? I also want the no-code workflows to be able to be started manually when ShowStart=1. Any ideas are welcome.

How do I call the start() method of Car class using the same object so that the output can be Car Started!!!. Edit: Actually It was asked in an interview I attended. I gave the super keyword answer. But the interviewer denied it. He said he'd give me a hint and said Virtual Function. I have no idea how to use that hint.

I've tried: canCancelContentTouches = YES; I've tried subclassing and overwriting: - (BOOL)canPerformAction:(SEL)action withSender:(id)sender (But that gets called only After the selection) - (BOOL)touchesShouldCancelInContentView:(UIView *)view; (I don't see that getting fired at all) - (BOOL)touchesShouldBegin:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event inContentView:(UIView *)view; (I don't see that getting fired either) What am I missing ?

    Hello, I am trying to work with an HTML.DropDownList in MVC and am not getting the expected return values. Here is my implementation for the selectList to bind to the drop down - IEnumerable<status> stat = _provider.GetAllStatuses(); Statuses = new SelectList(stat.ToList(), "id", "name", i.status.id); And here is my view - <%= Html.DropDownList("Status",Model.Statuses) %> I am getting an error when trying to run updatemodel in my controller. I then tried to individually set each object. It turns out that I am not getting a single int from the formvalue as I would expect to. Instead, I am getting a value like "5,10,2,3". I think this is coming from how I set up my selectlist, but I'm not exactly sure. Can anyone see an error in the way I am setting up this dd? Thanks for any help, and let me know if I can clarify anything.
