  I have a web application that is using forms authentication. Everything is configured and working correctly. However, i'm dealing with the issue of creating and maintaining users and role membership. I know that I can roll my own solution but I'm wondering if there is an alternative solution? Does iis7 provide screens for managing forms authentication users? Is there a reliable, free solution that someone would recommend? Thanks!

  I was wondering if Apple allowed you to access the MPMediaItem's raw data as an NSData object. If you can, thats great and I would like to know how. If you cannot, then Apple is way too over-protective, and my app that i started is utterly useless. Also if you cannot, Is there any hacky workarounds? I don't care if Apple doesn't accept my app as it would still be cool if me and my friends all had it. Thanks, Conrad

• FLEX components: updating import statements to move the component into another folder

  hi, I've just imported a Flex component into my project. I have a theory question about importing. all the imports statements in the component source files started with "com.subFolder.etc", but I have preferred to move the component folders into "componentName" and to replace all import statements as "componentName.com.subFolder.etc" Is this ok ? Everything works perfectly, but I was wondering if the method is correct. thanks

  Has anyone taken the vmware certified professional exam? I was wondering if I can just take this class: http://mylearn1.vmware.com/mgrreg/courses.cfm?ui=www&a=one&id_subject=10103 or would I need to do additional studying on my own? I'm a developer with limited server experience. I'm aware of the technologies but haven't worked with them directly. I was thinking of this: Use traditional PHP file upload form to upload the file to the server. I was wondering if there are any reasons that I shouldn't be doing it this way.
