  • Need to open port in a router for two internal PC's

    I have two PC's behind a comon internet router and one service running in another network that needs to connect with both PC's through internet using a specific port. To avoid dynamic IP issues I have configured NO-IP accounts in both computers and opened the port in their respective Windows Firewalls. My problem is that when I open the port in the router it only allows me to assign it to one of the computers, but not to both of them. Is there any solution to this?

  • Extend volume where unallocated space lies ahead of it

    I want to extend my volume. However the unallocated space lies ahead of the volume. Is it possible to extend this volume without converting it to a dynamic volume? I can't include images yet, so here you go: http://www.abload.de/img/unbenannttboxq.png I tried to use diskpart with the extend command but it doesn't work. Makes sense because the instructions says that the unallocated space has to be behind the volume.

  • Vim digraphs is not working

    I've tried to input digraphs in Vim (without vi compatibility), and unfortunately I can't. After using ControlKP * it should input big greek pi letter. I've also tried using PBS * with :set digraph, but no success either.   • Caching issue with Centos forwarding DNS server

    I installed a Forwarding DNS server on Centos 5.10 and it is resolving addresses e.g google.com. When I stopped named (service named stop) and tried to dig (dig @localhost A google.com) there was a failure to resolve the address. I checked and see the caching daemon nscd is running. Does this mean the server is not caching at all?     I am using Excel 2010 and retrieving data from SQL analysis service. When I refresh the data from Excel, the rows all refresh as they are bound to an external datasource. I am adding a separate column with a formula to sum the totals. With an increment or decrement of these rows, the alignment of custom columns goes out.   • Need help getting DIV inside DIV to stretch to width of contents in Firefox

    I am using a layout similar to the one from Dynamic Drive here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/layouts/item/css-right-frame-layout/ The main content area (white) has overflow set to auto. I have given the innerTube inside this main content area a border. However if the contents within this innerTube are greater than the width of the main content area, a horizontal scroll bar will appear as expected, but in Firefox these contents will 'overlap' the border and go off screen (can be retrieved by scrolling horizontally). In other words, the right hand border remains in place, and the content just goes over the op of it, and disappears behind the right hand column. In IE it behaves exactly as I want - the content pushes the border off screen to be visible only once you scroll over there. I guess the easiest thing is to paste the source code here. If you copy it into a blank file you'll see what I mean. I've just used one really long word to replicate what happens if a wide image is there instead. When I looked in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework (Framework64) directory, I did not see any directory containing files of .NET Framework 4.5, just those: v1.0.3705 v1.1.4322 v2.0.50727 v3.0 v3.5 v4.0.30319 Installing the .NET Framework 4.5 says: The .NET Framework 4.5 replaces the .NET Framework 4. When you install the .NET Framework 4.5 on a system that has the .NET Framework 4 installed, the assemblies are replaced. Thereby, 4.5's files are located in v4.0.30319 directory. Am I right?

    Hi, I've just installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 in Windows XP SP3 When trying to run MS word or any other office app (Excel, PowerPoint), I get the following message: this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect This also happens with other applications, for instance, Acrobat Reader. A bit of Googling around this error message suggests that this might be due to a mismatch of library versions. In fact, most of the articles and forum messages I found mention a programmer writing an application in Visual C++ and sending it to someone else, who then runs into that error. This is hardly my case ! I looked into Office's files and the manifest file for Excel suggests that Office is trying to use Microsoft VC80.CRT version 8.0.50608.0. However, in my Windows System folder, I can only find the assemblies for 8.0.50727.762 My next step will be trying to find version 8.0.50608.0. How can I find and download it ?

    I'm trying to make just a few minor tweaks to the default template of a checkbox. Now I understand how to make a new template from scratch, but this I do not know. I did manage to (I think?) extract the default template via the method here. Now I'm wondering, how can I resolve these errors so that I can actually start working on the template? Is there a better way of going about this? My boss wants a three-state checkbox with a red square instead of green, and he won't take no for an answer.

    After deployment of my website to IIS I'm getting a following error message when trying to access session: Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the \\ section in the application configuration. I access it in Page_Load or PreRender events (I tried both versions). With VS Dev Server it works without a problem. I tried both InProc an SessionState storage, 1 and multiple woker processes. I added a enableSessionState = "true" to my webpage explicitly. To get the WebPart working fully, however I find that I need to modify the wss_custom_wss_minimaltrust.config by hand after deployment and set Unrestricted="true" on the permissions set <PermissionSet class="NamedPermissionSet" version="1" Description="Permission set for MyApp" Name="mywebparts.wsp-86d8cae1-7db2-4057-8c17-dc551adb17a2-1"> to <PermissionSet class="NamedPermissionSet" version="1" Description="Permission set for MyApp" Name="mywebparts.wsp-86d8cae1-7db2-4057-8c17-dc551adb17a2-1" Unrestricted="true"> It's all because I'm loading a User Control from the webpart. I don't believe there is a way to enable that using CAS but am willing to be proven wrong. Is there a way to set something in the manifest so I don't need to make this fix by hand? Thanks
