  • Seems doctrine listener is not fired

    - by Roel Veldhuizen
    Got a service which should be executed the moment an object is persisted. Though, I think the code looks like it should work, it doesn't. I configured the service like the following yml. services: bla_orm.listener: class: Bla\OrmBundle\EventListener\UserManager arguments: [@security.encoder_factory] tags: - { name: doctrine.event_listener, event: prePersist } The class: namespace Bla\OrmBundle\EventListener; use Doctrine\ORM\Event\LifecycleEventArgs; use Bla\OrmBundle\Entity\User; class UserManager { protected $encoderFactory; public function __construct(\Symfony\Component\Security\Core\Encoder\EncoderFactoryInterface $encoderFactory) { $this->encoderFactory = $encoderFactory; } public function prePersist(LifecycleEventArgs $args) { $entity = $args->getEntity(); if ($entity instanceof User) { $encoder = $this->encoderFactory ->getEncoder($entity); $entity->setSalt(rand(10000, 99999)); $password = $encoder->encodePassword($entity->getPassword(), $entity->getSalt()); $entity->setPassword($password); } } } Symfony version: Symfony version 2.3.3 - app/dev/debug Output of I would expect that in both cases the listener is invoked.

  • Why this strange behavior of sqlbulkcopy in a asp.net website running under iis?

    - by Pandiya Chendur
    I'm using SqlClient.SqlBulkCopy to try and bulk copy a csv file into a database. I am getting the following error after calling the ..WriteToServer method. "The given value of type String from the data source cannot be converted to type bit of the specified target column." Here is my code, dt.Columns.Add("IsDeleted", typeof(byte)); dt.Columns.Add(new DataColumn("CreatedDate", typeof(DateTime))); foreach (DataRow dr in dt.Rows) { if (dr["MobileNo2"] == "" && dr["DriverName2"] == "") { dr["MobileNo2"] = null; dr["DriverName2"] = ""; } dr["IsDeleted"] = Convert.ToByte(0); dr["CreatedDate"] = Convert.ToDateTime(System.DateTime.Now.ToString()); } string connectionString = System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager. ConnectionStrings["connectionString"].ConnectionString; SqlBulkCopy sbc = new SqlBulkCopy(connectionString); sbc.DestinationTableName = "DailySchedule"; sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("WirelessId", "WirelessId"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("RegNo", "RegNo"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("DriverName1", "DriverName1"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("MobileNo1", "MobileNo1"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("DriverName2", "DriverName2"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("MobileNo2", "MobileNo2"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("IsDeleted", "IsDeleted"); sbc.ColumnMappings.Add("CreatedDate", "CreatedDate"); sbc.WriteToServer(dt); sbc.Close(); There is no error when running under visual studio developement server but it gives me an error when running under iis..... Here is my sql server table details, [Id] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL, [WirelessId] [int] NULL, [RegNo] [nvarchar](50) NULL, [DriverName1] [nvarchar](50) NULL, [MobileNo1] [numeric](18, 0) NULL, [DriverName2] [nvarchar](50) NULL, [MobileNo2] [numeric](18, 0) NULL, [IsDeleted] [tinyint] NULL, [CreatedDate] [datetime] NULL,

  • Static factory pattern with EJB3/JBoss

    - by purecharger
    I'm fairly new to EJBs and full blown application servers like JBoss, having written and worked with special purpose standalone Java applications for most of my career, with limited use of JEE. I'm wondering about the best way to adapt a commonly used design pattern to EJB3 and JBoss: the static factory pattern. In fact this is Item #1 in Joshua Bloch's Effective Java book (2nd edition) I'm currently working with the following factory: public class CredentialsProcessorFactory { private static final Log log = LogFactory.getLog(CredentialsProcessorFactory.class); private static Map<CredentialsType, CredentialsProcessor> PROCESSORS = new HashMap<CredentialsType, CredentialsProcessor>(); static { PROCESSORS.put(CredentialsType.CSV, new CSVCredentialsProcessor()); } private CredentialsProcessorFactory() {} public static CredentialsProcessor getProcessor(CredentialsType type) { CredentialsProcessor p = PROCESSORS.get(type); if(p == null) throw new IllegalArgumentException("No CredentialsProcessor registered for type " + type.toString()); return p; } However, in the implementation classes of CredentialsProcessor, I require injected resources such as a PersistenceContext, so I have made the CredentialsProcessor interface a @Local interface, and each of the impl's marked with @Stateless. Now I can look them up in JNDI and use the injected resources. But now I have a disconnect because I am not using the factory anymore. My first thought was to change the getProcessor(CredentialsType) method to do a JNDI lookup and return the SLSB instance that is required, but then I need to configure and pass the proper qualified JNDI name. Before I go down that path, I wanted to do more research on accepted practices. How is this design pattern treated in EJB3 / JEE?

  • Subscription Management with Merchant Account via API

    - by Josh
    I'm researching gateways/vendors that provide the ability to create subscription based transitions for merchant accounts. In other words, I want to allow customers to signup for a subscription for a website service that charges once a month. Authorize.Net has an ARB (Automated Recurring Billing) Module. The cost is cheap, $10 a month for the service, with unlimited subscriptions, and they have an API that allows XML or SOAP access to create, update and cancel. The LARGE negative of the service is that it doesn't have elegant way to obtain the current status of a subscription. They can send a daily email with an attached CSV file, or someone can login into the site and review statuses – neither is an enterprise solution. The parent company "CyberSource" has a "Recurring Billing Service" which implies a more robust solution, including API access to subscription information. I’m currently waiting for a sales call back on costs related to the service. I also looked at PayPal's Recurring Billing Service, but that appears to require that users are redirected to the PayPal site to signup for the subscription -- again, not an an elegant solution. Does anyone know of any other vendors/gateways that offer subscription service, that meet the following criteria: Vendor/Gateway must host the credit card number and be PCI compliant Have an API that accessible via a Web Service, Post over HTTPS or SOAP Have an API that allows querying the status of subscriptions and/or the ability to query for activity since a certain date. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  • MySQL use certain columns, based on other columns

    - by Rabbott
    I have this query: SELECT COUNT(articles.id) AS count FROM articles, xml_documents, streams WHERE articles.xml_document_id = xml_documents.id AND xml_documents.stream_id = streams.id AND articles.published_at BETWEEN '2010-01-01' AND '2010-04-01' AND streams.brand_id = 7 Which just uses the default equajoin by specifying three tables in csv format in the FROM clause.. What I need to do is group this by a value found within articles.source (raw xml).. so it could turn into this: SELECT COUNT(articles.id) AS count, ExtractValue(articles.source, "/article/media_type") AS media_type FROM articles, xml_documents, streams WHERE articles.xml_document_id = xml_documents.id AND xml_documents.stream_id = streams.id AND articles.published_at BETWEEN '2010-01-01' AND '2010-04-01' AND streams.brand_id = 7 GROUP BY media_type which works fine, the problem is, I'm using rails, and using STI for the xml_documents table. The articles.source that is provided to the ExtractValue method will be of a couple different formats.. So what I need to be able to do is use "/article/media_type" IF xml_documents.type = 'source one' and use "/article/source" if xml_documents.type = 'source two' This is just because the two document types format their XML differently, but I don't want to have to run multiple queries to retrieve this information.. It would be nice if one could use a ternary operator, but i don't think this is possible.. EDIT At this Point I am looking at making a temp table, or simply using UNION to place multiple result sets together..

  • Change find method in database search so that it isn't case sensitive in Rails app

    - by Ryan
    Hello, I am learning Rails and have created a work-in-progress app that does one-word searches on a database of shortcut keys for various programs (http://keyboardcuts.heroku.com/shortcuts/home). The search method in the Shortcut model is the following: def self.search(search) search_condition = "%" + search + "%" find(:all, :conditions => ['action LIKE ? OR application LIKE ?', search_condition, search_condition]) end ...where 'action' and 'application' are columns in a SQLite table. (source: https://we.riseup.net/rails/simple-search-tutorial) For some reason, the search seems to be case sensitive (you can see this by searching 'Paste' vs. 'paste'). Can anyone help me figure out why and what I can do to make it not case sensitive? If not, can you at least point me in the right direction? Database creation: I first copied shortcuts from various website into Excel and saved it as a CSV. Then I migrated the database and filled it with the data using db:seed and a small script I wrote (I viewed the database and it looked fine). To get the SQLite database to the server, I used Taps as outline by the Heroku website (http://blog.heroku.com/archives/2009/3/18/push_and_pull_databases_to_and_from_heroku/). I am using Ubuntu. Please let me know if you need more information. Thanks in advance for you help, very much appreciated! Ryan

  • How to pass a random User/Pass (for Basic Authentication) with JMeter?

    - by Pure.Krome
    Hi folks, I'm using JMeter to stress test an API. I've got Basic Authentication set up - seems to be working great. Now, i'm trying to randomize the credentials that JMeter passes across the wire. So, there's two ways I know I can do this. Add a custom HTTP Header (via an HTTP Header Manager Element) and set then value to the random fields (ie. something I've read in from a csv file) Use the HTTP Authorization Manager Element and pass in the username and password there. Now, if I try and use method (1) above, I need to create the following header/data :- Authorization: Basic <some Base64 encoded string in the format username:password> eg. Authorization: Basic OnVzZXIxOnBhc3Mx Kewl. simple. BUT that header value is not getting passed across the wire :( I can add any other header type and it's passed across the wire.. hmm .. ok then .. lets try method (2). Now that works .. but I can only hardcode in the username & password. I can't see how I can pass in a username VARIABLE (ie. ${usernmae} ) or a password VARIABLE (ie. ${password} ).... If it's hardcoded, then the server correctly replies with the correct page/data. so .. can someone please help?

  • Wpf progressbar not updating during method calculation

    - by djerry
    Hey guys, In my app, i have an import option, to read info from a .csv or .txt file and write it to a database. To test, i"m just using 200-300 lines of data. At the beginning of the method, i calculate number of objects/lines to be read. Every time an object is written to the database, i want to update my progressbar. This is how i do it : private void Update(string path) { double lines = 0; using (StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(path)) while ((reader.ReadLine()) != null) lines++; if (lines != 0) { double progress = 0; string lijn; double value = 0; List<User> users = new List<User>(); using (StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(path)) while ((line = reader.ReadLine()) != null) { progress++; value = (progress / lines) * 100.0; updateProgressBar(value); try { User user = ProcessLine(lijn); } catch (ArgumentOutOfRangeException) { continue; } catch (Exception) { continue; } } return; } else { //non relevant code } } To update my progressbar, i'm checking if i can change the ui of the progressbar like this : delegate void updateProgressbarCallback(double value); private void updateProgressBar(double value) { if (pgbImportExport.Dispatcher.CheckAccess() == false) { updateProgressbarCallback uCallBack = new updateProgressbarCallback(updateProgressBar); pgbImportExport.Dispatcher.Invoke(uCallBack, value); } else { Console.WriteLine(value); pgbImportExport.Value = value; } } When i!m looking at the output, the values are calculated correctly, but the progressbar is only showing changes after the method has been called completely, so when the job is done. That's too late to show feedback to the user. Can anyone help me solve this. EDIT : I'm also trying to show some text in labels to tell te user what is being done, and those aren't udpated till after the method is complete. Thanks in advance.

  • How to actually query Chinese address in Googlemap API geocoding??

    - by Robert
    I'm following the demo code from article of phpsqlgeocode.html In the db, I inserted some Chinese addresses, which is utf8 encode. I found after urlencode the Chinese address, the output of the address will be wrong.Like this one: http://maps.google.com.tw/maps/geo?output=csv&key=ABQIAAAAfG3KxFZXjEslq8VNxMBpKRR08snBovzCxLQZ9DWwpnzxH-ROPxSAS9Q36m-6OOy0qlwTL6Ht9qp87w&q=%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F132%3F Then output(can't query from php, it have to test as browser url link), 200,5,59.3266963,18.2733433 Whose address is actually located in Taichung Taiwan, but turn out to in Sweden Europe. But when I paste the Chinese address(such as ???????? ?131?56?58?60?) in the url, the result turn out to be fine!!! So my question is how to make sure it send out the original Chiness address?? how to prevent urlencode()??? I found take urlencode() away not change anything. (I've change the MAPS_HOST from maps.google.com to maps.google.com.tw.) (I'm sure my key is right, and other English address geocoding are fine.) Thanks!!

  • Static Data Structures on Embedded Devices (Android in particular)

    - by Mark
    I've started working on some Android applications and have a question regarding how people normally deal with situations where you have a static data set and have an application where that data is needed in memory as one of the standard java collections or as an array. In my current specific issue i have a spreadsheet with some pre-calculated data. It consists of ~100 rows and 3 columns. 1 Column is a string, 1 column is a float, 1 column is an integer. I need access to this data as an array in java. It seems like i could: 1) Encode in XML - This would be cpu intensive to decode in my experience. 2) build into SQLite database - seems like a lot of overhead for static access to data i only need array style access to in ram. 3) Build into binary blob and read in. (never done this in java, i miss void *) 4) Build a python script to take the CSV version of my data and spit out a java function that adds the values to my desired structure with hard coded values. 5) Store a string array via androids resource mechanism and compute the other 2 columns on application load. In my case the computation would require a lot of calls to Math.log, Math.pow and Math.floor which i'd rather not have to do for load time and battery usage reasons. I mostly work in low power embedded applications in C and as such #4 is what i'm used to doing in these situations. It just seems like it should be far easier to gain access to static data structures in java/android. Perhaps I'm just being too battery usage conscious and in my single case i imagine the answer is that it doesn't matter much, but if every application took that stance it could begin to matter. What approaches do people usually take in this situation? Anything I missed?

  • Read large file into sqlite table in objective-C on iPhone

My understanding is that sqlite on the iPhone can handle a database of this size. I have taken a few approaches but they have all been slow 30 s. I've tried: 1) Using C code to read the file and parse the fields into arrays. 2) Using the following Objective-C code to parse the file and put it into directly into the sqlite database: NSString *file_text = [NSString stringWithContentsOfFile: filePath usedEncoding: NULL error: NULL]; NSArray *lineArray = [file_text componentsSeparatedByString:@"\n"]; for(int k = 0; k < [lineArray count]; k++){ NSArray *parts = [[lineArray objectAtIndex:k] componentsSeparatedByString: @","]; NSString *field0 = [parts objectAtIndex:0]; NSString *field2 = [parts objectAtIndex:2]; NSString *field3 = [parts objectAtIndex:3]; NSString *loadSQLi = [[NSString alloc] initWithFormat: @"INSERT INTO TABLE (TABLE, FIELD0, FIELD2, FIELD3) VALUES ('%@', '%@', '%@');",field0, field2, field3]; if (sqlite3_exec (db_table, [loadSQLi UTF8String], NULL, NULL, &errorMsg) != SQLITE_OK) { sqlite3_close(db_table); NSAssert1(0, @"Error loading table: %s", errorMsg); } Am I missing something? Does anyone know of a fast way to get the file into a database? Or is it possible to translate the file into a sqlite format that can be read directly into sqlite? Or should I turn the file into a plist and load it into a Dictionary? Unfortunately I need to search on two of the fields, and I think a Dictionary can only have one key? Jim

  • Check if files in a directory are still being written in Windows Batch File

    - by FMFF
    Hello. Here's my batch file to parse a directory, and zip files of certain type REM Begin ------------------------ tasklist /FI "IMAGENAME eq 7za.exe" /FO CSV > search.log FOR /F %%A IN (search.log) DO IF %%~zA EQU 0 GOTO end for /f "delims=" %%A in ('dir C:\Temp\*.ps /b') do ( "C:\Program Files\7-Zip\cmdline\7za.exe" a -tzip -mx9 "C:\temp\Zip\%%A.zip" "C:\temp\%%A" Move "C:\temp\%%A" "C:\Temp\Archive" ) :end del search.log REM pause exit REM End --------------------------- This code works just fine for 90% of my needs. It will be deployed as a scheduled task. However, the *.ps files are rather large (minimum of 1GB) in real time cases. So the code is supposed to check if the incoming file is completely written and is not locked by the application that is writing it. I saw another example elsewhere, that suggested the following approach :TestFile ren c:\file.txt c:\file.txt if errorlevel 0 goto docopy sleep 5 goto TestFile :docopy However this example is good for a fixed file. How can I use that many labels and GoTo's inside a for loop without causing an infinite loop? Or is this code safe to be used in the For Loop? Thank you for any help.

  • SQLiteDataAdapter Update method returning 0 C#

    - by Lirik
    I loaded 83 rows from my CSV file, but when I try to update the SQLite database I get 0 rows... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. The program outputs: Num rows loaded is 83 Num rows updated is 0 The source code is: public void InsertData(String csvFileName, String tableName) { String dir = Path.GetDirectoryName(csvFileName); String name = Path.GetFileName(csvFileName); using (OleDbConnection conn = new OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=" + dir + @";Extended Properties=""Text;HDR=Yes;FMT=Delimited\""")) { conn.Open(); using (OleDbDataAdapter adapter = new OleDbDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM " + name, conn)) { QuoteDataSet ds = new QuoteDataSet(); adapter.Fill(ds, tableName); Console.WriteLine("Num rows loaded is " + ds.Tags.Rows.Count); InsertData(ds, tableName); } } } public void InsertData(QuoteDataSet data, String tableName) { using (SQLiteConnection conn = new SQLiteConnection(_connectionString)) { using (SQLiteDataAdapter sqliteAdapter = new SQLiteDataAdapter("SELECT * FROM " + tableName, conn)) { using (new SQLiteCommandBuilder(sqliteAdapter)) { conn.Open(); Console.WriteLine("Num rows updated is " + sqliteAdapter.Update(data, tableName)); } } } } Any hints on why it's not updating the correct number of rows?

  • Creating an AJAX Searchable Database.

    - by Austin
    Currently I am using MySQLi to parse a CSV file into a Database, that step has been accomplished. However, My next step would be to make this Database searchable and automatically updated via jQuery.ajax(). Some people suggest that I print out the Database in another page and access it externally. I'm quite new to jquery + ajax so if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated. I understand that the documentation on ajax should be enough to tell me what I'm looking for but it appears to talk only about retrieving data from an external file, what about from a mysql database? The code so far stands: <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4/jquery.min.js"></script> </head> <body> <input type="text" id="search" name="search" /> <input type="submit" value="submit"> <?php show_source(__FILE__); error_reporting(E_ALL);ini_set('display_errors', '1'); $category = NULL; $mc = new Memcache; $mc->addServer('localhost','11211'); $sql = new mysqli('localhost', 'user', 'pword', 'db'); $cache = $mc->get("updated_DB"); $query = 'SELECT cat,name,web,kw FROM infoDB WHERE cat LIKE ? OR name LIKE ? OR web LIKE ? OR kw LIKE ?'; $results = $sql->prepare($query); $results->bind_param('ssss', $query, $query, $query, $query); $results->execute(); $results->store_result(); ?> </body> </html>

  • Class; Struct; Enum confusion, what is better?

    - by Angel Brighteyes
    I have 46 rows of information, 2 columns each row ("Code Number", "Description"). These codes are returned to the client dependent upon the success or failure of their initial submission request. I do not want to use a database file (csv, sqlite, etc) for the storage/access. The closest type that I can think of for how I want these codes to be shown to the client is the exception class. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell enums do not allow strings, though this sort of structure seemed the better option initially based on how it works (e.g. 100 = "missing name in request"). Thinking about it, creating a class might be the best modus operandi. However I would appreciate more experienced advice or direction and input from those who might have been in a similar situation. Currently this is what I have: class ReturnCode { private int _code; private string _message; public ReturnCode(int code) { Code = code; } public int Code { get { return _code; } set { _code = value; _message = RetrieveMessage(value); } } public string Message { get { return _message; } } private string RetrieveMessage(int value) { string message; switch (value) { case 100: message = "Request completed successfuly"; break; case 201: message = "Missing name in request."; break; default: message = "Unexpected failure, please email for support"; break; } return message; } }

  • Parsing a blackberry .ipd file

    - by galaxywatcher
    I recently lost my Blackberry. When I discovered it was gone very shortly afterwards and called it, the sim card had already been removed. I ain't seeing that Blackberry again. Ok. I am out $300, but at least my data is backed up. I had an older working Blackberry fortunately and I got a new sim card and proceeded to restore my data using Blackberry Desktop Manager. 7000+ emails, hundreds of autotext entries, sms messages, calendar events, all backing up. Looking good. Lo and behold! My Address Book contacts refuse to back up? I try advanced, and it is greyed out as an option to restore. Far more frustrating than losing my bberry in the first place is wrangling with software that defies human logic. Ok, now I guess I will have to enter all 327 names by hand. That is, if I can read the .ipd file. I have tried the free version of ABC Amber Blackberry editor, but when I open the .ipd file, the contacts just do not show up. I am beginning to feel like the gods are conspiring against me. Then I found this: http://jabide.com/2009/03/parse-blackberry-ipd-files/ He posted a perl script that claims to extract the files. I copied and pasted the code and it did list all the different databases in my .ipd file, I was elated that a cool solution like this was published. I followed the instructions and garbled data with some discernible ascii was sent to standard output unlike a .csv file like he said it would. This is enough to make a grown man cry. Does anyone out there have a solution to extract my address book contacts from an .ipd file?

  • Javascript not able to read data generated by ajax script

    - by user1371033
    I have a situation in which my Jquery Ajax script generates HTML table. And another script is meant to filter the table column by providing a dropdown comprising of unique values in that particular column. If i have static content in html page the filter script works fine. But is not able to read table content when it is generated via Ajax that is during runtime. Any idea what could be the reason. I also tried to align script in order. My Ajax script is here:- $(document).ready(function() { $("#getResults").click(function(){ bug = $("#bug").val(); priority = $("#priority").val(); component = $("#component").val(); fixVersion = $("#fixVersion").val(); dateType = $("#dateType").val(); fromDate = $("#dp2").val(); toDate = $("#dp3").val(); $("#query").empty(); $("tbody").empty(); $.post("getRefineSearchResultsPath", {bug:bug,priority:priority,component:component, fixVersion:fixVersion,dateType:dateType,fromDate:fromDate,toDate:toDate }, function(data) { // setting value for csv report button //clear the value attribute for button first $("#query_csv").removeAttr("value"); //setting new value to "value" attribute of the csv button $("#query_csv").attr("value", function(){ return $(data).find("query").text(); }); $("#query").append("<p class='text-success'>Query<legend></legend><small>" +$(data).find("query").text() +"</small></p>"); var count = 1; $(data).find("issue").each(function(){ var $issue = $(this); var value = "<tr>"; value += "<td>" +count +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('issueKey').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('type').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td><div id='list' class='summary'>" +$issue.find('summary').text() +"</div></td>"; value += "<td><div id='list' class='mousescroll'>" +$issue.find('description').text() +"</div></td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('priority').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('component').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('status').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('fixVersion').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('resolution').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('created').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('updated').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('os').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>" +$issue.find('frequency').text() +"</td>"; value += "<td>"; var number_of_attachement = $issue.find('attachment').size(); if(number_of_attachement > 0){ value += "<div id='list' class='attachment'>"; value += "<ul class='unstyled'>"; $issue.find('attachment').each(function(){ var $attachment = $(this); value += "<li>"; value += "<a href='#' onclick='document.f1.attachmentName.value='" +$attachment.find('attachmentName').text(); value += "';document.f1.issueKey.value='"+$attachment.find('attachmentissueKey').text(); value += "';document.f1.digest.value='"+$attachment.find('attachmentdigest').text(); value += "';document.f1.submit();'>"+$attachment.find('attachmentName').text(); value += "</a>"; value += "</li>"; value += "<br>"; }); value +="</ul>"; value +="</div>"; } value += "</td>"; value += "</tr>"; $("tbody").append(value); count++; }); }); }); }); And my script to filter table is here, I got this script from this link http://www.javascripttoolbox.com/lib/table/ My JSP page is here:- <html> <body> <table class="table table-bordered table-condensed table-hover example sort01 table-autosort:0 table-autofilter table-autopage:10 table-page-number:t1page table-page-count:t1pages table-filtered-rowcount:t1filtercount table-rowcount:t1allcount"> <thead > <tr> <th class="table-sortable:numeric" Style="width:3%;">No.</th> <th class="table-sortable:default" Style="width:5.5%;">Issue Key <br> </th> <th>Type</th> <th Style="text-align: center;">Summary</th> <th Style="text-align: center;">Description</th> <th class="table-filterable table-sortable:default" id ="priorityColumn" Style="width:5%">Priority</th> <th class="table-filterable table-sortable:default" >Component</th> <th class="table-filterable table-sortable:default" Style="width:5%">Status</th> <th class="table-filterable table-sortable:default">Fix Version</th> <th class="table-filterable table-sortable:default" Style="width:6%">Resolution</th> <th>Created</th> <th>Updated</th> <th>OS</th> <th>Frequency</th> <th>Attachments</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> </tbody> <tfoot> <tr> <td class="table-page:previous" style="cursor:pointer;"><img src="table/icons/previous.gif" alt="Previous"><small>Prev</small></td> <td colspan="13" style="text-align:center;">Page <span id="t1page"></span>&nbsp;of <span id="t1pages"></span></td> <td class="table-page:next" style="cursor:pointer;">Next <img src="table/icons/next.gif" alt="Previous"></td> </tr> <tr Style="background-color: #dddddd"> <td colspan="15"><span id="t1filtercount"></span>&nbsp;of <span id="t1allcount"></span>&nbsp;rows match filter(s)</td> </tr> <tr class="text-success"> <td colspan="15">Total Results : ${count}</td> </tr> </tfoot> </table> </body> </html>

  • Perf4J Logging Config Help

    - by manyxcxi
    I currently have a long running process that I am trying to analyze with Perf4J. I currently have it writing results in CSV format to its own log file using the AsyncCoalescingStatisticsAppender and a StatisticsCsvLayout on the file appender. My question is; when I try and use the --graph option from the command line (using the perf4j jar) it isn't populating the data points- it isn't populating anything. Are my appenders set incorrectly? The log file contains hundreds (sometimes thousands) of data points of about 10 different tag names. <appender name="perfAppender" class="org.apache.log4j.FileAppender"> <param name="File" value="perfStats.log"/> <layout class="org.perf4j.log4j.StatisticsCsvLayout"> </layout> </appender> <appender name="CoalescingStatistics" class="org.perf4j.log4j.AsyncCoalescingStatisticsAppender"> <!-- The TimeSlice option is used to determine the time window for which all received StopWatch logs are aggregated to create a single GroupedTimingStatistics log. Here we set it to 10 seconds, overriding the default of 30000 ms --> <param name="TimeSlice" value="10000"/> <appender-ref ref="ConsoleAppender"/> <appender-ref ref="CompositeRollingFileAppender"/> <appender-ref ref="perfAppender"/> </appender>

  • Getting minimum - Min() - for DateTime column in a DataTable using LINQ to DataSets?

    - by Jay Stevens
    I need to get the minimum DateTime value of a column in a DataTable. The DataTable is generated dynamically from a CSV file, therefore I don't know the name of that column until runtime. Here is code I've got that doesn't work... private DateTime GetStartDateFromCSV(string inputFile, string date_attr) { EnumerableRowCollection<DataRow> table = CsvStreamReader.GetDataTableFromCSV(inputFile, "input", true).AsEnumerable(); DateTime dt = table.Select(record => record.Field<DateTime>(date_attr)).Min(); return dt; } The variable table is broken out just for clarity. I basically need to find the minimum value as a DateTime for one of the columns (to be chosen at runtime and represented by date_attr). I have tried several solutions from SO (most deal with known columns and/or non-DateTime fields). What I've got throws an error at runtime telling me that it can't do the DateTime conversion (that seems to be a problem with Linq?) I've confirmed that the data for the column name that is in the string date_attr is a date value.

  • Issue using GAE appcfg.py

    - by JustSmith
    I get nothing out of appcfg.py besides the default output. I'm trying to upload some data to my development project with no luck at at all. From the instructions on the Google App Engine page the steps are as follows: Edit app.yaml update with appcfg.py make upload script upload with appcfg.py After step one I try to run the update and it never shows any success. The following commands product the same output: appcfg.py appcfg.py update appDir appcfg.py update appDir/ appcfg.py update /appDir If i try to follow the instructions from the appcfg.py output and type help upload and get: "help <action>" I get a response from the system, This command is not supported by the help utility. Try "update /?". cause I'm calling the system help command. If I use the command appcfg.py help upload I get the same result as just typing appcfg.py Can someone show me examples of the syntax to update the dev site, upload data to it and get appcfg.py to actually give help on its commands? Also I'm just assuming that the upload script and the .csv file that are being uploaded are in they myApp directory. Appreciate any help,

  • using fopen on uploaded file with php

Now its not showing any errors, its just not displaying the uploaded data. Im getting my "file uploaded" notice, and the file is saving properly, but the counter for number of entries is showing 0. if(isset($_FILES[csvgo])){ $tmp = $_FILES[csvgo][tmp_name]; $name = "temp.csv"; $tempdir = "csvtemp/"; if(move_uploaded_file($tmp, $tempdir.$name)){ echo "file uploaded<br>"; } $csvfile = $tempdir.$name; $fh = fopen($csvfile, 'r'); $headers = fgetcsv($fh); $data = array(); while (! feof($fh)) { $row = fgetcsv($fh); if (!empty($row)) { $obj = new stdClass; foreach ($row as $i => $value) { $key = $headers[$i]; $obj->$key = $value; } $data[] = $obj; } } fclose($fh); $c=0; foreach($data AS $key){ $c++; $phone = $key->PHONE; $fax = $key->Fax; $email = $key->Email; // do things with the data here } echo "$c entries <br>"; }

  • Generic unit test scheduling

    - by Raphink
    Hello, I'm (re)writing a program that does generic unit test scheduling. The current program is a mono-threaded Perl program, but I'm willing to modularize it and parallelize the tests. I'm also considering rewriting it in Python. Here is what I need to do: I have a list of tests, with the following attributes: uri: a URI to test (could be HTTP/HTTPS/SSH/local) ; depends: an associative array of tests/values that this test depends on ; join: a list of DB joints to be added when selecting items to process in this test ; depends_db: additional conditions to add to the DB request when selecting items to process in this test. The program builds a dependency tree, beginning with the tests that have no dependencies ; for each test: a list of items is selected from the database using the conditions (results of depending tests, joints and depends_db) ; the list of items is sent to the URI (using POST or stdin) ; the result is retrived as a YAML file listing the state and comments for the test for each tested item ; the results are stored in the DB ; the test returns, allowing depending tests to be performed. the program generates reports (CSV, DB, graphviz) of the performed tests. The primary use of this program currently is to test a fleet of machines against services such as backup, DNS, etc. The tests can then be: - backup: hosted on the backup machine(s), called through HTTP, checks if the machines' backup went well ; - DNS: hosted on the local machine, called via stdin, checks if the machines' fqdn have a valid DNS entry. Does such a tool/module already exist? What would be the best implementation to achieve this (using Perl or Python)?

  • How to insert an Array/Objet into SQL (bestpractice)

    - by Jason
    I need to store three items as an array in a single column and be able to quickly/easily modify that data in later functions. [---YOU CAN SKIP THIS PART IF YOU TRUST ME--] To be clear, I love and use x_ref tables all the time but an x_ref doesn't work here because this is not a one-to-many relationship. I am making a project management tool that among other things, assigns a user to a project and assigns hours to that project on a weekly basis, per user, sometimes for weeks many weeks into the future. Of course there are many projects, a project can have many team members, a team member can be involved with many projects at one time BUT its not one-to-many because a team member can be working many weeks on the same project but have different hours for different weeks. In other words, each object really is unique. Also/finally, this data can be changed at any time by any team-member - hence it needs to be easily to manipulate. Basically, I need to handle three values (the team member, the week we're talking about, and how many hours) dropped into a project row in the projects table (under the column for project team members) and treated as one item - a team member - that will actually be part of a larger array of all the team members involved on the project. [--END SKIP, START READING HERE :) --] So assuming that the application's general schema and relation tables aren't total crap and that we are in fact up against a wall in this one case to use an array/object as a value for this column, is there a best practice for that? Like a particular SQL data-type? A particular object/array format? CSV? JSON? XML? Most of the app is in C# but (for very odd reasons that I won't explain) we could really use any environment if there is a particular one that handles this well. For the moment, I am thinking either (webservice + JS/JSON) or PHP unserialize/serialize (but I am bit sketched out by the PHP solution because it seems a bit cumbersome when using ajax?) Thoughts anyone?

  • How does PHP PDO work internally ?

    - by Rachel
    I want to use pdo in my application, but before that I want to understand how internally PDOStatement->fetch and PDOStatement->fetchAll. For my application, I want to do something like "SELECT * FROM myTable" and insert into csv file and it has around 90000 rows of data. My question is, if I use PDOStatement->fetch as I am using it here: // First, prepare the statement, using placeholders $query = "SELECT * FROM tableName"; $stmt = $this->connection->prepare($query); // Execute the statement $stmt->execute(); var_dump($stmt->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC)); while ($row = $stmt->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC)) { echo "Hi"; // Export every row to a file fputcsv($data, $row); } Will after every fetch from database, result for that fetch would be store in memory ? Meaning when I do second fetch, memory would have data of first fetch as well as data for second fetch. And so if I have 90000 rows of data and if am doing fetch every time than memory is being updated to take new fetch result without removing results from previous fetch and so for the last fetch memory would already have 89999 rows of data. Is this how PDOStatement::fetch works ? Performance wise how does this stack up against PDOStatement::fetchAll ?
