Setup for mounting kerberized nfs home directory - gssd not finding valid kerberos ticket

Our home directories are exported via kerberized nfs, so the user needs a valid kerberos ticket to be able to mount its home. This setup works fine with our existing clients & server. Now we want to add some 11.10 client and thus set up ldap & kerberos together with pam_mount. The ldap authentication works and users can login via ssh, however their homes can not be mounted. When pam_mount is configured to mount as root, gssd does not find a valid kerberos ticket and the mount fails. I have an asus k55VM. The problem is that once done the partitions to install windows 7 finalize you and then ubuntu 12.10 the grub not to appear. On having created the table of partitions with gparted I did it in format msdos but then on having installed windows gently accepted me and he says to me that I must do it with format gpt therefore I erase the disc in the assistant of installation and believe a partition of 160 gb Later between with live CD to ubuntu and believe other partitions between which, one ext4 for ubuntu... I install and restart. On having restarted the grub does not go out but if the partitions appear of windows. To seeing if someone helps me am desperate. Thank you very much Tengo un asus k55VM. El problema es que una vez hechas las particiones instalar windows 7 ultimate y luego ubuntu 12.10 no aparece el grub. Al crear la tabla de particiones con gparted lo hice en formato msdos pero luego al instalar windows no me acepta y me dice que debo hacerlo con formato gpt por lo tanto borro el disco en el asistente de instalacion y creo una particion de 160 gb Posteriormente entre con live cd a ubuntu y creo otras particiones entre las cuales, un ext4 para ubuntu... Instalo y reinicio. Al reiniciar no sale el grub pero si aparecen las particiones de windows. A ver si alguien me ayuda estoy desesperado. Muchas gracias

Can't install Ubuntu Software Center

I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 32bit with Gnome 3.8 but am missing the Ubuntu Software Center. I tried to install it via terminal: $ sudo apt-get install software-center But that tells me that dependencies are not met The following packages have unmet dependencies: software-center : Depends: gir1.2-webkit-3.0 but it is not going to be installed gir1.2-webkit-3.0 depends on gir1.2-javascriptcoregtk-3.0 of version 1.10.2-0ubuntu2. But that package is only available as version 2.0.4-2~ubuntu13.04. I am missing the Ubuntu Software Center as well as the Update Manager and the packages update-notifyer and ubuntu-release-upgrader-gtk. How can I install the packages with correct dependencies? Directing Multiple ccTLD's to 1 gTLD with a country specific subdirectory?

We have multiple ccTLDomains and are thinking about how to best combine these into one. We want to do this to focus our link building efforts. We are running a website through which we offer a software-as-a-service. Therefore we could potentially sell to any country in the world. However, Germany is our most important market. We currently have a .com, .de, .nl. and .pl domain. All these domains have a high amount of unique content pages. What we are planning is to change everything to .com with language-based subdirectories, so .com/en/, .com/de/, etc. I have two questions concerning this issue: 1) How much of an advantage does a ccTLD have over a gTLD with country specific subdirectories in search rankings? So let’s say .de versus .com/de/? 2) How could we best redirect the visitors of our old ccTLD’s to our gTLD’s subdirectories? We would like to loose as few search engine rankings as possible. In my work I have with great results used approximate string matching algorithms such as Damerau–Levenshtein distance to make my code less vulnerable to spelling mistakes. Now I have a need to match strings against simple regular expressions such TV Schedule for \d\d (Jan|Feb|Mar|...). This means that the string TV Schedule for 10 Jan should return 0 while T Schedule for 10. Jan should return 2. This could be done by generating all strings in the regex (in this case 100x12) and find the best match, but that doesn't seam practical. Do you have any ideas how to do this effectively?

Can't parse a 1904 date in ARPA format (email date)

I'm processing an IMAP mailbox and running into trouble parsing the dates using the mxDateTime package. Using "Show values as" option in Excel 2007 pivot table when source is SSAS cube?

I have an Excel 2007 pivot table showing "Year" across the top and "Month" down the side. What I am trying to do is represent the values as "% Difference" from the same month of the previous year. (Ex. If Jan-07 is $100,000 and Jan-08 is $120,000, I would like Jan-08 to show '20%'). However, every time I try to do this (using the "Show values as" tab of Value Field Settings) all of my numbers go to '#N/A'. Is there a way to do this using an Analysis Services cube as the data source? When I do this exact same thing using data on a different sheet as the data source for the pivot table, it works fine. Thanks in advance for any insight into this.

I've started the process of moving my blog to Octopress, but unfortunately, a limitation of Jekyll doesn't allow me to use abbreviated month names for my permalinks. Therefore I'm looking to just get rid of the month and day bits altogether. I'ved read in this article that you can use rack-rewrite to take care of the redirection, since I am using Heroku to host this. So how would I turn: This: example.com/journal/2012/jan/03/post-of-the-day/ Into this: example.com/journal/2012/post-of-the-day/ Extra points: If I had another rule that redirected /blog/ to /journal/, would that rule still adhere to the above one as well? Concept: Is mongo right for applying schemas?

I am currently in charge of checking wether it is valuable for one of our upcoming products to be developed on mongo. Without going too much into detail, I'll try to explain, what the app does. The app simply has "entities". These entities are technical stuff, like cell phones, TVs, Laptops, tablet pcs, and so forth. Of course, a cell phone has other attributes than a Tablet PCs and a Laptop has even other attributes, like RAM, CPU, display size and so on. Now I want to have something that we wanna call a scheme: We define that we need to have saved the display size, amount of ram size of flash devices, processor type, processor speed and so on for tablet pcs. For cell phone we might save display size, GSM, Edge, 3g, 4g, processor, ram, touch screen technology, bla bla bla. I think you got it :) What I want to realize is, that each "category" has a schema and when one of the system's users enters a new product (let's say the new iphone 4), the app constructs the form to be filled out with the appropriate attributes. So far it sounds nice and should not be a problem with mongo. But now the tough for which I could not find a clean solution.... An attribute modeled in mongo looks like: { _id: 1234456, name: "Attribute name", type: 0, "description" } But what to do, if i need this attribute in several languages, like: { en: {name: "Attribute name", type: 0, "description"}, de: {name: "Name des Attributs, type: 0, "Beschreibung"} } I also need to ensure that the german attribute gets updated as soon as the english gets updated, for instance when type changes from 0 to 1. Any ideas on that?

Hello everyone. I still have a question about Enumerations. Here's a quick sketch of the situation. I have a class Backpack that has a Hashmap content with as keys a variable of type long, and as value an ArrayList with Items. I have to write an Enumeration that iterates over the content of a Backpack. But here's the catch: in a Backpack, there can also be another Backpack. And the Enumeration should also be able to iterate over the content of a backpack that is in the backpack. (I hope you can follow, I'm not really good at explaining..) Dynamic Unpivot : SSIS Nugget

A question on the SSIS forum earlier today asked: I need to dynamically unpivot some set of columns in my source file. Every month there is one new column and its set of Values. I want to unpivot it without editing my SSIS packages that is deployed Let’s be clear about what we mean by Unpivot. It is a normalisation technique that basically converts columns into rows. By way of example it converts something like this: AccountCode Jan Feb Mar AC1 100.00 150.00 125.00 AC2 45.00 75.50 90.00 into something like this: AccountCode Month Amount AC1 Jan 100.00 AC1 Feb 150.00 AC1 Mar 125.00 AC2 Jan 45.00 AC2 Feb 75.50 AC2 Mar 90.00 The Unpivot transformation in SSIS is perfectly capable of carrying out the operation defined in this example however in the case outlined in the aforementioned forum thread the problem was a little bit different. I interpreted it to mean that the number of columns could change and in that scenario the Unpivot transformation (and indeed the SSIS dataflow in general) is rendered useless because it expects that the number of columns will not change from what is specified at design-time. There is a workaround however. Assuming all of the columns that CAN exist will appear at the end of the rows, we can (1) import all of the columns in the file as just a single column, (2) use a script component to loop over all the values in that “column” and (3) output each one as a column all of its own. Let’s go over that in a bit more detail. I’ve prepared a data file that shows some data that we want to unpivot which shows some customers and their mythical shopping lists (it has column names in the first row): We use a Flat File Connection Manager to specify the format of our data file to SSIS: and a Flat File Source Adapter to put it into the dataflow (no need a for a screenshot of that one – its very basic). Notice that the values that we want to unpivot all exist in a column called [Groceries]. Now onto the script component where the real work goes on, although the code is pretty simple: Here I show a screenshot of this executing along with some data viewers. As you can see we have successfully pulled out all of the values into a row all of their own thus accomplishing the Dynamic Unpivot that the forum poster was after. Andei fazendo uns testes no AJAX Control Toolkit 4 que deverá ser usado com o ASP.NET 4 no Visual Studio .NET 2010 e confesso que gostei muito. O link para download é http://www.asp.net/ajaxlibrary/act.ashx e todas as instruções constam no site. Notei que há diversos controles novos e um que me chamou a atenção foi o de Upload assíncrono para controlar os uploads de arquivos para o server. Vale a pena estudar um pouco estas novidades. Para quem já usava o AJAX no ASP.NET 3.5, a idéia do Toolkit é igual, exceto a adição de novos controles. Com o AJAX vc pode mudar todo o comportamento da sua aplicação WEB, requisições no server passam a ser menos frequentes, o layout ajuda e muito com os controles do AJAX. Nativamente no VS 2010 já há o AJAX que a MS suporta nativamente (ScriptManager, UpdatePanel, UpdateProgress, etc), mas vale a pena implementar alguns controles do Toolkit. Bons estudos!
