  • JMF. Create new custom streamdatasource

    Hi there. I am looking to create a means of building a DataSource object (and hence a Processor) that gets data from a stream instead of a file, RTP, and so on. I am writing a module for a much larger application that is meant to transparently transcode audio data. Going through the JMF docs only specify how to create a source from file however I need to be able to create a source from a stream within my application. Any idea where I can start looking?

  • best way to get new access_token using PHP sdk

    I am getting the error "An active access token must be used to query information about the current user". There seems to be tons of articles and ideas, but am very confused and it seems that things are changing as well. A lot say to use offline-access but that appears to be going away. I did find this article. Does anyone have an example using the PHP SDK? I tried doing something like the below but it does not seem to work; $FBuser is still zero: $token_url = "https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?" . "client_id=" . FB_APP_ID .   • New Bluetooth API question

    I have written a small app that puts my bluetooth in discoverable mode for a long time (G1 - API 1.6). I use that along with small program on windows to lock/unlock the computer if the phone is close by. Recently i try to port this app to my nexus one but it seems like i have to pop up the message every 300s to enable device to go to discoverable mode. does anyone know how i can suppress that? I'm ok with saying ok for the first time but not every 300s :)

  • JQuery - Fade in new Background Image?

    Hi, I think I may be trying something that isn't possible. I was recently tasked to create a html version of the flash site. On the flash site when you click on the body the image changes. I have done this with JQuery. Its brilliant! However.. it isn't "flash" enough. The powers that be want a fade effect between images. This is where I have come completely undone. This is how my script works at the moment. Images are stored in a div called photos. This is hidden. <div id="photos"> <img src="image.jpg" alt="Some caption" style="#page-bg-color" /> </div> When the page is loaded jquery checks to see if the first image is loaded. If it isn't then a loading symbol spins. When the image is loaded, it becomes the body background. $("body").css('background', 'url(' + photos[currentImage]["url"] + ') no-repeat 50% 50% fixed ' + photos[currentImage]["background"]); I have tried the following. I have tried animate. However, this doesn't work. I have tried this plugin: http://plugins.jquery.com/project/bgImageTransition This doesn't work either. It appears to clone the tag and do something. I assume it isn't working because you cannot clone the body tag. That or it is really old and is no longer compatible with the current version of JQuery. I fear that I have coded my way down a dead end. Does anybody know how I could make this work?

    My app will allow users to create a personalised list of events from a large list of events. I have a table view which simply displays these events, tapping on one of them takes the user to the event details view, which has a button "add to my events". In this detailed view I own the original event object, retrieved via an NSFetchedResultsController and passed to the detailed view (via a table cell, the same as the core data recipes sample). I have no trouble retrieving/displaying information from this "event". I am then trying to add it to the list of MyEvents represented by a one to many (inverse) relationship: This code: NSManagedObjectContext *context = [event managedObjectContext]; MyEvents *myEvents = (MyEvents *)[NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"MyEvents" inManagedObjectContext:context]; [myEvents addEventObject:event];//ERROR And this code (suggested below): //would this add to or overwrite the "list" i am attempting to maintain NSManagedObjectContext *context = [event managedObjectContext]; MyEvents *myEvents = (MyEvents *)[NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"MyEvents" inManagedObjectContext:context]; NSMutableSet *myEvent = [myEvents mutableSetValueForKey:@"event"]; [myEvent addObject:event]; //ERROR Bot produce (at the line indicated by //ERROR): *** -[NSComparisonPredicate evaluateWithObject:]: message sent to deallocated instance Seems I may have missed something fundamental. I was fetching the event in question using a NSFetchedResultsController with a NSPredicate which I was releasing after I had the results. Retrieving values from the entities returned was no problem, but when I tried to update any of them it gave the error above. It should not have been released. oustanding part of my question What is a good way to create this sub list from a list of existing items in terms of a core data model. I don't believe its any of the ways I tried here. I need to show/edit it in another table view. Perhaps there is a better way than a boolean property on each event entity? The relationship idea above doesn't seem to work here (even though I can now create it). Cheers.

  • real time updates for new page events

    I know there's a few questions knocking around on this topic but none quite the same. I'm currently searching by location for all the pages relating to a particular geographic location and caching their events in a database. The problem being I have to currently loop through all the pages i'm watching frequently to check for updates. At the moment the 10,000 Pages I'm keeping track of takes a good while to update. It would be much neater (and nicer to fb) to be notified instead of polling. Does anyone know of a more efficient to do this? Thanks Ben

'\n'); $gemIDs[$i] = $gem->getAttribute('id'); $i++; } fclose($file); For some reason, it's writing \n as a string, so the file looks like this: 40119\n40122\n40120\n42155\n36925\n45881\n42145\n45880 From Google'ing it tells me to use \r\n, but \r is a carriage return which doesn't seem to be what I want to do. I just want the file to look like this: 40119 40122 40120 42155 36925 45881 42145 45880 Thanks.

But DllMain function of MFC Extension DLL is dynamically allocating the memory for CDynLinkLibrary in the code snippet available at MSDN "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/1btd5ea3%28v=VS.80%29.aspx". Is it a violation of Dll Best Practices or ok to use in MFC extension DLL? thanks

  • gvim "open in new window" should change directory to the one of the current file

    Hi I'm working in gvim with sessions and tabs, and everything works great. However there is something that is bothering me. Say I have two files open: /A/B/foo.ext and /C/D/E/bar.ext, the latter being opened last. Now say I want to open /A/B/foobar.ext. I have to go through the hassle of navigating upwards to / and from there to /A/B. I would like to simply change my active tab to /A/B/foo.ext and have gvim automatically change its active directory to /A/B/, so that when I want to open /A/B/foobar.ext with /A/B/foo.ext being active, I'm already in the right CWD. This would be very time-saving if you work with two different projects at a time and need to switch back and forth between the two. Is there any such script that does just that? Thanks.

  • Automatically copy new Jar file to Tomcat project WEB-INF/lib folder

    I am developing a Tomcat app (actually it's a Red5 app, but this is effectively the same). This contains the usual /WebContent/WEB-INF/lib folder, which is where I locate the various jars it uses. Recently, I pulled a package out of my app project, and converted into a separate Jar project which was then released as open source (this resides in the same workspace). What I want, is that when I build my Tomcat app, that Eclipse automatically pulls the latest version of the Jar I have built into its /WebContent/WEB-INF/lib folder. This is the behaviour you get with .NET when you reference one project from another, and I guess this is why I was expecting to find some way of doing it. At the moment, I have to manually copy/paste the Jar across each time I build it. Of course, ideally when I build my Tomcat app it would automatically detect if the Jar project was up-to-date too, and build it if not. Any suggestions most gratefully received.

    I have this program where it have some recursive function similar to this: lambda(HashSet<Integer> s){ for(int i=0;i<w;i++){ HashSet<Integer> p = (HashSet) s.clone(); p.addAll(get_next_set()); lambda(p); } } What I'm doing is union every set with the set s. And run lambda on each one of the union. I run a profiler and found the c.clone() operation took 100% of the time of my code. Are there any way to speed this up considerably?

    I'm using Joomla 1.5 to create a local site for my office. The site will be accessed locally via intranet, and my PC will be the localhost for the site. I'm using a Login pluggin, so that anyone who wanted to enter the site should create an account. In JOOMLA, all user who created their account for the first time will receive a notification e-mail like : "Hello pras, You have been added as a User to Information Center by an Administrator. This e-mail contains your username and password to log in to http://localhost/yaddayadda/ Username: hadisuryo.prasetio Password: xxxx Please do not respond to this message as it is automatically generated and is for information purposes only." but if the user click the URL in the mail, which is, "localhost/yaddayadda/" they will not be directed to my site, but to their own PC's localhost.... My question is : How can I Modified the e-mail or the site configuration so that the URL will not be "localhost/yaddayadda/" anymore, but will be "(My-IP adress)/yaddayadda" I'm not going to host my site to a web hosting service, just using my PC as a host. I've been trying to trace on each config and .ini files...it seems that i have to do something with the "JURI" function or the "$mosConfig_live_site" on the backlink.php file $mosConfig_absolute_path = JPATH_SITE; $mosConfig_live_site = JURI :: base(); $url_array = explode('/', $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']); Can anyone give me assistance ?     I am trying to retrieve the ARPINSTALLLOCATION during the installation of a Major Upgrade version of the software. Following this info I managed to set the ARPINSTALLLOCATION to the custom path. However, retrieving it again isn't working.
