  • How Google is managing authentication between multiple domains?

    I think everyone here would be knowing that, if I am logged in any of the google's website(i.e www.orkut.com), I don't need to authenticate again for www.gmail.com. How google is managing this. I think, it would be a cookie stored on user's browser. But, if it is a cookie, how different domains are able to read this cookie. What do you say.

I see from https://developers.google.com/drive/v1/reference/files#resource that there are 4 operations. If there are no list and search capabilities then the onus is on the app to handle the management. Is there another API I should be using? Are those features in the works?

    I'm trying to save webpage as an image. The web page I'm trying to save is bit long and has many images (http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2012/10/hurricane_sandy_the_superstorm.html) I tried Google Chrome Screen Capture Extention and few other Chrome Screen Capture Plugins but all gave empty image as output. How to overcome this? Is there any other known Plugin (non Chrome is OK) to save large web page as an Image?

It looks like Google Bookmarks has some wonderful features, but it doesn't let people import their existing bookmarks from their browsers be it Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer.   • How to handle mutiple API calls using javascript/jquery

    I need to build a service that will call multiple API's at the same time and then output the results on the page (Think of how a price comparison site works for example). The idea being that as each API call completes the results are sent to the browser immediately and the page would get progressively bigger until all process are complete. Because these API calls may take several seconds each to return I would like to do this via javascript/jquery in order to create a better user experience. I have never done anything like this before using javascript/jquery so I was wondering if there was any frameworks/advice that anyone would be willing to share.

    I wanted to use DirectMusic in my game, but it's not in the June 2010 SDK, so I thought that I had to use DirectSound. Then I saw the XAudio2.h header in the SDK's include folder and found that XAudio2 is the replacement for DirectSound. Both are low-level. During my research I stumbled across the XACT API, but can't find a good explanation on it. Is XACT to XAudio2 what DirectMusic was to DirectSound? By which I mean, is the XACT API a high-level, easier-to-use API for playing sounds that abstracts away the details of XAudio2? If not, what is it?

In a scrum Project which has 2 weeks of work, how can complete automation be done in that time frame (talking only about the GUI Level)?     I'd like to see as much tracking data as possible about my online presence, in one single dashboard - so views/conversions from Google Analytics data, the performance of my Facebook campaigns via the Insights API, views/clicks from my YouTube campaigns, etc. This could be as simple as a graph with time on the x-axis, and key indicators from each source on the y-axis (conversions from Analytics, likes on Facebook, views on YouTube, etc). The idea is that I can see customer engagement with each source, over time. I can write my own such dashboard easily enough, but I wondered if there was something off-the-shelf that already did this. Apologies if this isn't the right forum for such a question - would appreciate tips for the best place to ask.

However, I've tried using open -na Google\ Chrome and it won't open a second instance. Is there a way to do this on a Mac with Google Chrome?

    My company is a broker in the real estate industry. As such, we send a lot of our listings to sites like Trulia.com and Zillow.com, among others. These sites direct leads to our realtors, and provide us with reports every month detailing the activity our listings have had on their site-- links back to our website, emails generated, etc. Our Marketing and Advertising departments want to take that information and enter it into a system to keep track of everything in one place, for the purpose of producing comparison reports. I cannot find any externally available product that provides this functionality. I would sincerely like to avoid writing this tool myself. Does anyone know of a tool that could do this? In short, an ideal system would: Imports Google Analytics data via API Imports real estate listing site data via CSV import / manual entry Provides comparison reports based on data Does anyone know of anything pre-made that can do this?
