  Hi Guys I need to add a trailing / to a url if it doesn't have one or isn't a file so http://www.ddd.com/dasdas becomes http://www.ddd.com/dasdas/ But I don't what to just add slash the URl as this will end up with filename like this style.css/ So I need a piece of Regex that I can put into the IIS 7 rewrite engeine to append when needed

• Why is php5isapi.dll missing after installing PHP for Windows?

  It's been a while since I've installed PHP for Windows, but every guide I've seen online tells me to set IIS to recognize .PHP files with php5isapi.dll. However, I can't seem to find php5isapi.dll anywhere after installing PHP 5.3.0 and PHP 5.2.10. If I recall correctly it should be in C:\InstallDir Am I missing something important?

  I wonder how long will an ASP.NET (MVC) application run, when no new requests come in? Lets say I'm using an IOC Container ans have a Singleton Object serving to the clients. As far as I know it will serve different page requests. But how long will it live when no new request come in? Is there any timeout (maybe configured through IIS) that says when my app will shut down?

  Hi, I have a asp.net web application and I'm using cache (HttpRuntime.Cache) to save some stuff from db. I also update db from time to time so that data in db does not match the data in my application's cache. Is there any way how to clear my application's cache without modifying any source code or republishing the page? I tried to restart IIS and to clear browsers cache but nothing helps. Please help.

  I read somewhere the you can't remove response headers once they've been added. Given that, I'm wondering where in a standard ASP.NET web forms application do response headers get added initially.   Hi, I just deployed a web application on JBOSS 4.2. It can be accessed locally only (http://localhost:8080/myApp). I cant access it from remote computer by typing its domain: (www.hostname.com:8080/myApp). I added Port 8080 as Exception in Windows Firewall. Note that the host (www.hostname.com) is reachable from remote computers via IIS on port 80. Thanks, Rod

I notice that every time I rename or delete a folder, the site gets recompiled - i.e. the very next web request after delete or rename operation takes considerably much time to execute. It's only true for folders, not for files. Why does this occur? P.S. I use WebDev server (Cassini), haven't tested in on IIS yet.

  On this website,http://www.webdavsystem.com/server/documentation/ms_office_read_only, it states that in order to open a writable version of a MS Office doc this condition has to be met: Your WebDAV server must be configured on site root. Is this still true? Because I tried the SqlStorage sample and it works fine.   Hi, in the old days, with asp.net, when i would navigate to a non existing page, the .net framework (or iis?) would throw a 404 and i could attach a default page to that error in the web.config in the custom errors section. but in the asp.net mvc that doesn't seem to work? Does the mvc framework throws some kind of invalid route excpetion saying it can't find any route for my uri or something like that?

  How do I go about getting the isapi_rewrite working on IIS 6.0? My shared hosting account supports ISAPI_Rewrite - I've run the provided tests to confirm. • Can I change the temp folder path?

  I have an asp.net app that uses System.IO.Path.GetTempFileName() for temporary files. In the production IIS environment (W2K3), the temp folder (System.IO.Path.GetTempPath()) points to C:\Windows\Temp. But on my XP dev machine it's C:\documents and settings\machinename\ASPNET\temp. Is it possible to change this folder without affecting other accounts on my machine?

  Hi all I have a program that creates a small file in the Bin directory for the purpose of tracking a license (that's the intention), all works fine when debugging but I've just realized that when I run it on a IIS server under the anonymous user account (IUSR) the file isn't created as IUSR only has read permission (I know this is correct but drat!). Can I write to another location under IUSR account or can I run my code under 'Local Service' account? Thanks
