    I'm using the jQuery validation plugin from bassistance.de. It works fine. From <head>: <script type="text/javascript" src="/static/JQuery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/static/js-lib/jquery.validate.pack.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/static/js-lib/jquery.validate.additional-methods.js"></script> At first, this was the only validation code I had, and it worked: $("form").validate(); $("#form-username").rules("add", { required: true, email: true, }); It was validating this HTML: <form id="form-username-form" action="api/user_of_email" method="get"> <p> <label for="form-username">Email:</label> <input type="text" name="email" id="form-username" /> <input type="submit" value="Submit" id="form-submit" /> </p> </form> Great, everything works. RadRails has a "Switch to Test" function for my controller, model, etc. but not for my library. if I have class Foo::Bar in /lib/foo/bar.rb, where should I put the unittest for it? or should I separate the foo library in a separated project?   • Looking for a good C++ based RSS API

    I tried http://code.google.com/p/feed-reader-lib but holy cow, talk about difficult to build. It has a nightmare of dependencies on Xerces and Xalan, both of which seem to be choking under the new VisualStudio 2010 C++ compiler. I've wasted hours trying to build this thing which is a shame. Does anyone have anything a little easier to hit the ground running with?

  • Is there any documentation for the Cassandra Erlang interface?

    I have looked everywhere, and to use Cassandra from Erlang you end up having to download (amongst others): boost thrift : and then you have generate the erlang library by hand, and then copy lib files and beams files. Once you have the whole thing working there is absolutely zero documentation anywhere. If anyone could show me some user friendly documentation it would be much appreciated.

    Does anyone know what the difference is between adding an appropriate JAR-file (eg. Apache XALAN) to a JRE's endorsed directory and adding it to the application's classpath? Is it possible to take a jar-file that can be added to the endorsed lib and instead add it to the classpath?

    I have imported a GWT project from GIT , but when i run maven Install it says .m2\repository\commons-logging\commons-logging\1.1\commons-logging-1.1.jar; cannot read zip file entry and if i simply run my application , i get this \git\my-Search-Engine\qsse\war}: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/servlet/GuiceServletContextListener I tried to find out the way , one solution i found was to move the guice-servlet-3.0 from build path to \qsse\war\webinf\lib but if i do that i start gettin the exception ava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/Injector any idea how can i resolve this

    Hi, I am using visual studio 2008 and sql server 2008 for developing application(SQL server is in my system). I need to fetch some fields from the database. I am using the SQLDriverConnect API to connect to the database. If I use the "SQL_DRIVER_PROMPT" I will get pop window to select the data source. I don't want this window to appear. As per my understanding this window will appear if we provide insufficient information in the connection string. I think I have provided all the information.     I am getting an error when I try to insert an item into a list (in C++). The error is that there is no matching function for call to the insert(). I also tried push_front() but got the same error.     Hi, I created a custom yaml handler, myRunnerConfigHandler, and placed it under apps/frontend/lib/myRunnerConfigHandler.class.php and created a new config_handler and placed it under apps/frontend/config/config_handler.yml Now, under config_handler.yml,I placed my configuration for my new rundown: modules/*/config/rundown.yml: class: myRundownConfigHandler Basically, under each module, I want to have a yaml file under /apps/frontend/modules/home/config/rundown.yml However no rundown.yml files are being seen. Is there something else I need to do before rundown.ymls are seen? Thanks

    I am trying to remove a file from a dependency jar that I am including in my war file in maven. I am deploying the war to JBoss 5.1 and the jar in question contains a persistence.xml file that I don't want. Here's what is going on: my-webapp.war | `-- WEB-INF | `-- lib | `-- dependency.jar | `-- META-INF | `-- persistence.xml When I am building my war, I want to remove persistence.xml Any one have any idea if this can be done easily?

    I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].
