  • Regex to Match White Space or End of String

    I'm trying to find every instance of @username in comment text and replace it with a link. Here's my PHP so far: $comment = preg_replace('/@(.+?)\s/', '<a href="/users/${1}/">@${1}</a> ', $comment); The only problem is the regex is dependent upon there being whitespace after the @username reference. Can anyone help me tweak this so it will also match if it is at the end of the string?

    Hello- Quick question: I am trying to fill in empty spaces with a specific number of zeroes in an NSString stringWithFormat formatting string. For example, I want: @"The number is %d", 5 // I want this to output 'the number is 05' @"the number is %d", 10 // I want this to output 'the number is 10' I know how to do this in Java, but I cant seem to find the same function in objective-c. Any help would be great.

  • Parsing a string using a delimiter to a TStringList, seems to also parse on spaces (Delphi)

    I have a simple string which is delimited by some character, let's say a comma. I should be able to create a TStringList and set it's delimiter to a comma then set the DelimitedText to the text I want to parse and it should be automaticlly parsed. The problem is when I look at the output it also includes spaces as delimiters and chops up my results. How can I avoid this, or is there a better way to do this.

    Since upgrading to the latest XCode 3.2.1 and SnowLeopard, I've been getting the warning, "format not a string literal and no format arguments" on the following: NSError *error = nil; if (![self.managedObjectContext save:&error]) { NSLog([NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@ %@, %@", errorMsgFormat, error, [error userInfo]]); } If 'errorMsgFormat' is an NSString with format specifiers (eg: "print me like this: %@"), what is wrong with the above NSLog statement? And what is the recommended way to fix it so that the warning isn't generated?

    I need to split a string into chunks of 2,2,3,3 characters and was able to do so in Perl by using unpack: unpack("A2A2A3A3", 'thisisloremipsum'); However the same function does not work in PHP, it gives this output: Array ( [A2A3A3] => th ) How can I do this by using unpack?
