  • How can i create a context menu in c# in a datagridview

    Hi all, I have written a datagridview with a couple of columns to store data of a product, now i want to be able to right click any row and have a context menu appear with the options delete and copy. Copy should have the same functionality as if I press Ctrl+C. Any help would be appreciated. Im using C# and WinForms.     Hi, I have SharePoint setup, and for a test I added a Task List, added a few columns, and tested it out. I wanted to modify the task list task page, not the task list page. I can edit the task list page, but I cannot edit the task list task page. I am missing the Edit Page button from site actions on that page. How can I edit the page of the actual task? Thanks.

  • Ubuntu Desktop Environments, No Internet Access

    Windows has been a pain, so I installed Ubuntu 13.10 on my parent's HP Pavilion first with Cinnamon. For the first few days, it worked wonderfully, and then stopped connecting to the internet. I tried using the windows partition and it worked fine. Posted a question about this - no answer yet. Since then, something happened while my parents were using it. The Windows partition was completely erased. I reinstalled Ubuntu and the Cinnamon desktop. Worked great for a day, then same connectivity issue. Since Ubuntu works fine on my netbook without Cinnamon, I thought perhaps this was a Cinnamon issue. Removed Cinnamon and installed LXDE. LXDE, much like Cinnamon, worked well. Then I rebooted and couldn't connect to the internet. I encountered the same issue when using KDE. I would personally like something with a bottom panel as my parents are familiar and comfortable with Windows and can barely use their cell - phones so I do not think Unity will work too well for them. Ubuntu with Unity seems to be the only way to access the internet. My parents mostly use the internet to check email/facebook/watch video. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • Making Thunar the default file browser without hiding the desktop icons

    I really dislike Ubuntu's default file browser, nautilus, and decided to opt for a lighter alternative (Thunar or Xfe). I've used the following script to change the default to Thunar, but now all my icons are gone from the desktop ! The files are still there, in /home/myid/Desktop, but they do not appear. Is there a way to show them, or is this a consequence of removing nautilus as the default file browser ?   • Non-disruptive desktop-clock?

    Hello, is there a clock application, that can be placed on your screen like a widget staying always on top but automatically fades away on mouseover enabling you to click through it on items below, (behaves pretty much like the Ubuntu notifications). I am aware, that there are screenlets and gdesklets widget apps, but those are buggy, look outdated, and do not comply with the criteria listed above. What I have in mind is a clock that is large, (digital), always visible (on top of all other windows), and does not disrupt your work (e.g. you can still click that scroll bar or button if it is just below the clock, since the clock fades away on hovering).     I have an old computer which has 512MB RAM and 128MB Graphic card. It has windows 95 currently, it loads fine but it has some issues with Internet connection and pendrive. I am tired of solving problems. I booted live CD of ubuntu 10.10. It loads slow and some diplay problems. But it resolved my internet problem and pendrive. So I want install ubuntu which is equivalent to windows 95 in boot, application load, graphics level. Can anyone suggest unbuntu version? What about xbuntu?

  • How do you show the desktop in a blink in Ubuntu?

    We know you can either click on the show desktop icon or use CTRL+ALT+D to ask Ubuntu to show the desktop. Unfortunately, this does not always show the desktop in one action. Sometime, and this is true for at least the last 4 version of the OS, it brings up first to the front all the windows, THEN, with a second click, show you the desktop. This is very annoying, as when you show the desktop it generally to quickly click on a shortcut. To understand what I'm talking about, open 7 windows, minimize some, bring some to the front, maximize one, then show the desktop. Then do that on Windows. You'll see the difference.

  • Desktop directory disappears in gnome-terminal, then appears again, but all files in it are deleted

    I am able to see my Desktop and with all its various links and files. But in the terminal when I try to access the Desktop directory: cd ~/Desktop I get: bash: cd: /home/administrator/Desktop: No such file or directory Then I find I am unable to access any of the files on the Desktop when I click on them although the file icons are there. Then the icons disappear after my clicking on them. Then I am able to access the Desktop directory in the terminal but the directory is empty i.e. all the files/folders have been deleted. What's going on? How can I fix this?

    How can I allow selected rows in a DataGridView (DGV) to be moved up or down. I have done this before with a ListView. Unfortunetly, for me, replacing the DGV is not an option (curses). By the way, the DGV datasource is a Generic Collection. The DGV has two buttons on the side, yes, UP & Down. Can anyone help point me in the right direction. I do have the code that I used for the ListView if it'll help (it did not help me).

    So I've a button on my frmMain that opens up another frmEdit which has a datagridview that displays the following query: BindingSource bs = new BindingSource(); string sqlqry = "select p_Name from Items where p_Id=" + p_Id; SqlCeCommand cmd = new SqlCeCommand(sqlqry1, conn); SqlCeDataReader rdr = cmd.ExecuteReader(); bs.DataSource = rdr; dataGridView1.DataSource = bs; this.ShowDialog(parent); Now when frmEdit loads up the dgv displays the query just fine, but I can't Edit. I tried dgv.BeginEdit(true), but it doesn't work. The EditMode works fine if I used wizard to bind datasources to the dgv, but I need to execute my own customized queries and be able to update them directly.
