    I use ServiceHost for hosting WCF cervices. I want to host near to my WCF services my own tcp programm (like WCF service but with out WCF) for direct sockets operations (like lien to some sort of broadcasting TCP stream) I want to use ServiceHost for somehow simplyfiing proces of creating my TCP sender\listener, to somehow control namespaces (so I would be able to let my clients to send TCP streams directly into my service using some nice URLs like www.example.com:34123/myserver/stream?id=1 or www.example.com:34123/myserver/stream?id=222 and so that I will not be bothered with Idea of 1 client for 1 socket at one time moment, BTW I realy want to keep my WCF services on the same port as my own server or what it is...) Can any body please hrlp me with this?

I hoped when I'll connect Flash Builder to my server (using Data - connect to HTTP ) It will work with my API sending Russian text as UTF-8 but instead it sends Þûõó ïúушúøý to my API and so to DB and so on instead of my favourite UTF-8 &#1056;&#1091;&#1089;&#1089;&#1082;&#1086;&#1077; &#1048;&#1084;&#1103; 2... So what encoding uses flash builder and How to make Flash Application send UTF-8 data to my server or some other readable format?

  • Best way to do TDD in express versions of visual studio(eg VB Express)

    I have been looking in to doing some test driven development for one of the applications that I'm currently writing(OLE wrapper for an OLE object). The only problem is that I am using the express versions of Visual Studio(for now), at the moment I am using VB express but sometimes I use C# express. Is it possible to do TDD in the express versions? If so what are the bast was to go about it? Cheers. EDIT. By the looks of things I will have to buy the full visual studio so that I can do integrated TDD, hopefully there is money in the budget to buy a copy :). For now I think I will use Nunit like everyone is saying.

  • looking for advise on importing excel into mysql with php

    Alright, see if I can pick your brains from you all. I'm currently working on a project where all the information comes from different clients, the only thing in common is that the received data is done with excel. The excel spread sheet that they present is just a bunch of references and codes, and the problem than I'm facing is that I need the references and codes to be entered in certain format in order for the website to work. The perfect situation will be to go to each client and teach how I would need the data, but I can't do that because of the large number of clients, and more importantly I will be interrupting their work flow. Each client has its own codes and reference model and they are not willing to change their process The good news is that there is a standard pattern for the codes, but I'm talking close to 200 thousand codes with a bunch of combination. They way that we are currently solving the problem is that we have a person who checks each excel sheet received, runs a few macros, and manually fixes those codes in which the macro was not able to fix. The person that is doing this, is already burn out and frustrated and I would like to automatize this process with php. Suggestions?

If I say to windows "play .vlm file with vlc" it plays correctly starts server where I need and streams data. but how to do such thing manulay from cmd (so we suppouse we can call vlc.exe by vlc and we are now in folder with vlc.exe and vlcConfig.vlm file)

    I'm creating an SSIS package, which will read through a user's SQL database and populate the tables in an Access database. However, for the largest user databases, I start getting errors around the time the Access file reaches approx. 2 GB. Has anyone run into this problem? Is this a size limitation for this operation? More information: I'm getting the error code 0xC020907B, but no additional information that I can see. Error: 0xC0209029 at , [733]: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAILUREONERROR. The "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (746)" failed because error code 0xC020907B occurred, and the error row disposition on "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (746)" specifies failure on error.     So I want to create simple pcm to mp3 C++ project. I want it to use LAME. I love LAME but It is realy biiig. so I need some kind of OpenSource working from pure code with pure lame code workflow simplifier. So to say I give it File with PCM and DEST file. Call something like LameSimple.ToMP3(file with PCM, File with MP3 , 44100, 16, MP3, VBR); ore such thing in 4 - 5 lines (examples ofcourse should exist) and I have vhat I needed It should be light, simple, powerfool, opensource, crossplatform.
