• error while adding web service to server in website panel

  I got following error while creating website for user in website panel.I am not able to create any hosting space in server's hosting plan it is showing 0 mb space. • Adding FTP Users via Simple Control Panel

  I just got setup with CentOS yesterday through GoDaddy, and today I'm trying to get into the server and start setting up some of my projects. I'm able to get in through PuTTY just fine, but I'm not able to connect through FTP with the same (root) account. I'm using Simple Control Panel, and have ensured that "Enable Server" is checked beneathSystem Configuration > FTP. Further, I've checked, and double checked that my root password is correct when providing the FTP details. Is there some other common setting I'm missing here that will prevent me from getting connected to the server to begin transfering files?

• Plesk 9 - Client panel access via client domain, not server host name

  I've setup a Plesk 9 vps recently. The plesk admin is accessible at, say, http://superawesomedomain.com:8443. I'm setting up a couple of client domains on the server. I'd like clients to be able to access plesk via a similar url, but instead it would be something like http://inferiorclientdomain.com:8443. This works ok in a sense, but it always redirect the request for inferiorclientdomain.com:8443 to superawesomedomain.com:8443. I'd like the control panel access url to remain on inferiorclientdomain.com. Is that possible? EDIT: System Info. Plesk 9.5.2 on CentOS 5 (Build 95100504.12)

• Ubuntu nasty error: The panel encountered a problem while loading xxxApplet

  I have install ubuntu & GNOME (say, with minimum possible number of packages). I can login and do anything as I want. However, there is a nasty thing: Whenever I loggin in, I see this message: Error The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet" Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration [Don't Delete] [Delete] If I press [Delete] then the error won't be shown anymore. However, for every new created account, the message shown again (use created using sudo adduser user_name). Since I clone this OS into several virtual instance, and create new account on these instances. I wonder if there is a way to configure my ubuntu so that new created user don't have to see this annoy message? Thanks

  Previously, there was an Internet Time tab on the Date and Time applet of the Control Panel, wherein one could force a query of an internet time server and also type in a different server from the ones supplied. However, this tab has now disappeared, and I need to have it back. I should mention that this machine has never been part of a domain, since it seems that machines that are such do not have such a tab.   Hello, I recently bought a VPS with Windows Server 2003 x64 Standard PreInstalled. the reseller gave me the Username and Password for the Parallels Power Panel and also it's address (something like this: https://??.???.???.??:4643/) I've just reinstalled the container using Virtuozzo (first I stopped the container, then reinstalled the container and the last log message was Reinstalling...) now after 2 hours I can't access the ControlPanel. what's wrong? is it normal? how long does it take to reinstall the container? why the ControlPanel is not accessible now? I'm kinda noob. Please help

  I am trying to get Openfire to install on an Ubuntu virtual machine, however upon completing the web based installer, I am unable to login to the admin panel. So far I: downloaded Debian installer Installed using stock options Added database and built the structure using supplied SQL file Completed web based installer I am now trying to login using username: admin and my password, however I constantly get a wrong username/password error. There is a record generated in the MySQL database showing the admin user with an encrypted password, and changing to an unencoded password doesn't work. What is the problem here?

• Some printers are merged into control panel on Windows 7

  I install the same printer several times to allow easy selection for users. They just choose the desired printer to have the corresponding functionnality (instead of going to printer properties and change them back and forth): one with double-sided printing, one for draft quality, one for upper tray, etc. On Windows 7, when I install a printer several times, the control panel's printers icons are merged. I then have only one icon for two or three identical printers. I can right-clic on the icon to display the usual menu, and some items of the menu have an arrow to access each printer. This is very missleading for users and admins. I have this behaviour on some computers, when others don't exhibit this. I didn't found what is the difference between computers with and without the problem. Anyone know how to prevent this ?

It worked fine till I added a SPGridVew to the page with an ObjectDataSource as a datasource for it. after I added the SPGridView the page made full postbacks when the dropdownlist selection changes despite it is inside an update panel what is the reasin for this nand is there any workaround for this ? thanks

On submit, i hide one of the panels using this code: panel.Style.Add("display", "none"); I am also using a UpdateProgress which works great in all but this case. When i set the display to none using this code, the UpdateProgress template does not disappear! remove the line, all is well .... No idea why...
