• My page was attacked via xss, but on ftp all files are not changed?

  Hi, yesterday i noticed that sometimes on my webpage shows up javascript errors. when i went to source code, i found that one of .js files was totaly replaced with a ton of porn links. i checked the ftp for this file, but there was just old javascript file without any changes. yet i go back to check source code via browser and indeed there was again original .js today i visited my webpage again and the problem repeated. first visit showed me ton of porn pages cached .js file was hacked but after clearing browser cache js go back to oryginal i checked all files on my ftp against my offilne version, but all files are without any change. in last few years i was attacked by xss few times but in every case it was easy to diagnose and fix. but now i spend 12h and didnt find infection. do you have any idea how to find it? the webpage is: http://robert.frk.pl

  My android application get restarted when I take the application from home screen, but this not a consistent. Some time it works perfectly (resume with the last visited activity). My application contains a splash screen activity and 5 activities in tab layout. Usage Start application After splash screen the application shows one of the activity in tab Press home button Try to invoke application from home screen Application gets restarted, it is not happening always. I am working on actual device. I am currently doing a project that applies personalisation and customisation and wanted to implement something similar. my prototype is based on an institution, so i want to display a list of probably the last 5 viewed programmes or courses on the home page. I am using php and so far i have thought of using $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], but basically returns the last url..Which is not what i want.   I have got two tables in Sql Server 2005: USER Table: information about user and so on. COUNTRY Table : Holds list of whole countries on the world. USER_COUNTRY Table: Which matches, which user has visited which county. It holds, UserID and CountryID. For example, USER_COUNTRY table looks like this: ID -- UserID -- CountryID 1 -- 1 -- 34 2 -- 1 -- 5 3 -- 2 -- 17 4 -- 2 -- 12 5 -- 2 -- 21 6 -- 3 -- 19 My question is that: When a user is deleted in USER table, how can I make associated records in USER_COUNTRY table deleted directly. Now what I am trying to do is in a report I have the top 5 people who have visited the site and would like to then be able to drill down into what lessons they have clicked on.   Hi, What is the best way to do view management in a multiview application? Right now I have this ViewSwitcher method/function that comes from a custom delegate I created. The code is a whole bunch of if else like this MyViewController *c = [[MyViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"MyViewController" bundle:nil]; c.delegate = self; self.myViewController = c; [self.viewHolder insertSubview:c.view atIndex:0]; [c release]; That works fine, but when I visited the function a second time, is there going to be 2 instances of MyViewController now or just 1? • PHP Session Id changes between pages

  Hi All, I have a problem where i am losing the PHP session between 2 pages. The session_start() is included in a file called session-inc.php into every page requiring a session to be set. This works for all pages on the site except one particular page, member-profile.php. When this page is visited a new session with a different id (same session name) is set and used instead. A few more details: Session name is set manually All pages are on the same server under the same domain name If i put an additional session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file, the session is carried over correctly I have tried setting the session_cookie_domain and session.session_name in the .htaccess, this worked for this domain but it stopped the session being passed over to out payment domain We are running apache 2.2.6 with php 5.2.5 Putting the session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file is the quick and dirty fix for this problem, but i am wondering if anybody know why this would be happening. • Recognizing the source of Facebook application user

  Hello, When serving an iframe application in Facebook, is there anyway I can know when a user visits my site through Facebook as an application or if he reached the site directly (typed my domain URL in the browser)? I know I can check if the user has a cookie (named "u") which tells me that the user used facebook to get an access_token. However, if the user visited the application one minute ago and got the access_token cookie, but then typed the URL in the browser, checking for the existence of the cookie will return TRUE, although the visitor arrived to the site directly.   Please not that I fully understand this is a dumb ass idea, but its not my idea. We need to deter people visiting a certain page on our site. It's written in ASP and I don'tknow ASP! Can anyone tell me how I can have a pop up box load when the URL is visited where by people have to enter a username / password. The user name / password should be stored in the javascript. (Yes I know) The only real requirement is that this happen anytime the page is loaded and it stays on that page. • Is there a SaaS for logging user activity?

  In almost every app that I build I create some kind of user log table to log various activities that my actual USERS (not visitors, but someone with an account) perform on the site. This is primarily used for customer service issues to allow me to pull up a record of the pages and actions that a user has visited. The downside to this is the size of the UserLogs table. It gets immense. I'm not sure if it is common practice or not for others to log INDIVIDUAL (not aggregate like Google Analytics) user behavior to a database, but if it is I'm wondering if any form of a SaaS exists to help offload this task? I essentially need a RESTful API that lets me store and retrieve individual user activity quickly and securely. Anyone know of any or am I the only one who has this issue?

  I more and more see these global login-once comment-everywhere systems on every page. I didn't do my homework of tinkering debugging and search before asking, so my question is as follows: You login on site A and leave a comment. Now you go on site B, which uses the same global comment system. At the bottom of the page a request form with your name and data appears for you to add a comment on B page. You don't leave any comment and browse away. Does the global-comment provider get information about the fact that you visited page B, even if you don't leave any comment ? I will dig into the code as soon as I have time, but in the meanwhile I would like to ask your insights on this regard.

  I use javascript and css to build a multi-level drop down menu with following markups: <ul> <li>menu item 1</li> <ul> <li><a href="#">sub menu menu item 1</a></li> ................. This markup is generated by a custom JSTL tag <mui:menu .../> which loads menu data from a database. I hope my jsp page can behave like this: if menu data has not changed since last time I visited the page, just use browser's cache otherwise load from database... How can I do it? I don't know much detail about cache mechanism.

  I have a cyclic graph-like structure that is represented by Node objects. A Node is either a scalar value (leaf) or a list of n=1 Nodes (inner node). Because of the possible circular references, I cannot simply use a recursive HashCode() function, that combines the HashCode() of all child nodes: It would end up in an infinite recursion. While the HashCode() part seems at least to be doable by flagging and ignoring already visited nodes, I'm having some troubles to think of a working and efficient algorithm for Equals(). To my surprise I did not find any useful information about this, but I'm sure many smart people have thought about good ways to solve these problems...right? Example (python): A = [ 1, 2, None ]; A[2] = A B = [ 1, 2, None ]; B[2] = B A is equal to B, because it represents exactly the same graph. BTW. This question is not targeted to any specific language, but implementing hashCode() and equals() for the described Node object in Java would be a good practical example.

  Hey, i am coding a small php forum from scratch and would like to show readers what posts he hasnt read yet and what forum categories have unread posts since this visit, pretty much how phpbb or invision boards work. How do i approach this, cookies? phpbb doesnt seem to use cookies for this, not very a good idea do have a cookie for each post... maybe use css visited attribute? but i dont see how would that work if a new post pops up. • IE sending through multiple unrequested requests for parent URL

  We have a rather large/complex web site (so it's not easy to extract portions of it). The problem we're having is that IE6/7/8 (but 6 is the worst) are sending through multiple requests for the parent of a URL (which fails, a different point). As an example, if you visited (dummy domain name obviously): http://www.example.com/view/event/123/456/78 We'd get 8-20 requests for: http://www.example.com/view/event/123/456/ appear in the Apache log. We've tried: Disabling all plugins (including toolbars, Flash, etc) Disabling scripting (e.g. Javascript) And it still sends through at least one erroneous request. We've viewed the requests through ieHttpHeaders so the browser is aware of them (i.e. it's not prefetching by the network's proxy). Any ideas? What can else could cause this?

In the dropdown you picked the desired number of cars and then it reiterated input fields according to the number of cars chosen. I believe this was done through javascript and a loop was involved. Is there a term for this action or way to display things? Also an example of how to accomplish something similar would help?

• Show data relationship in gridview with dropdownlist or similar?

  I have data coming from two tables with a foreign key relationship - one User table containing users of the web application, and one Page table containing details about pages visited by each user. I would like to be able to view these data in a gridview or the like on a page. It's easy enough to just show the User table data like so (I'm using the Entity Framework and LINQ): UserDBEntities context = new UserDBEntities(); GridView1.DataSource = from user in context.UserSet select new { user.Ip, user.Count, user.Description, user.Referer }; GridView1.DataBind(); But how can I show the Page details? I'm not bent on any particular way of showing it, but the only idea I've been able to come up with is to have a dropdown list for each user in a column. But I can't figure out how to get the page data into such a dropdown list. The tables are associated with the primary/foreign key UserID. Any ideas would be welcome (dropdownlist solution or other)!

• How do to check to see if the user has a Google account.

  Is there any safe way to detect, on a web page, client side (JS), whether user has an Google/Yahoo/Live/? account? I know about some suspicious ways to do this by styling visited links and then sneaking on computed style attribute, but it's more of a hack, Mozilla and maybe other are planning to crack down on this, as it might be abused. But I need this to allow users more integration with their identity providers, like: Have a Google account? ~ load contacts for sharing from Google Contacts API Have an Yahoo account? ~ load contacts for sharing from Yahoo Contacts API none of the above? show no link I don't want to provide all these options to all visitors, would be nice if I can detect the account, and provide integration only in that case.

• Htaccess/robots.txt to allow search bots to explore main domain but not directory on other domain

  Ok, I understand the Title didn't make any sense so here I've tried to explain it in detail. I'm using a hosting that gives me space for my domain and lets me "add on" other domains on it. So lets say I have a domain A, and I add on a domain B. Basically my hosting gives me a public_html where I can put stuff that shows when someone visits website A. But, when I add the domain B, it lets me put the content of B, INSIDE of that public_html so that website B.com can also be visited by going to A.com/siteB... Thats all good, except that Google has started indexing B.com as well as A.com/siteB, I'm ok with it indexing B.com, but I somehow want to prevent it from indexing A.com/siteB so that when people search for B, it doesn't end up showing A.com/siteB. Any ideas? Let me know if the question is still unclear.
