  • Can I somehow know which replacement is taking place from within a callback of preg_replace_callback

    I'm using preg_replace_callback to substitute particular tokens within the string. But apart from actual token I need to know as well whether that token was first, second or third in a subject string. Is there any way to access that info? I found an argument $count in preg_replace_callback definition (http://php.net/manual/en/function.preg-replace-callback.php), which counts replacements, but I'm not sure if it is accessible from within callback. Any example of the usage in described context?

I am using Fabric and Python and I would like a more automated way of pulling code from the repository through the use of public keys, but without any ops or manual intervention to set up the public keys. Are you storing them in the code as text or in a database and generate the pk file on the fly?

  • Scriptable testing/debugging HTTP/HTTPS cookies and redirects

    I need to setup some automated testing of HTTP requests, to check cookies are doing the right thing, with (manual) debugging when there is a problem. So far I've been muddling along with Firebug, but it's quite a bit of effort using that, and I would prefer some form of scriptable tool, both to make it easier for me and to allow an automated regression test. Any recommendations?

    I've just downloaded OpenCV's trunk and now I'm trying to build it with MinGW. I read the manual and get .dll's compiled, but that's all - "interfaces/python" contains only some .i and .cmake files. How can I really get new python interface? Where I can find new cv.pyd/libcv.dll.a (because a compiled version from official site crashes sometimes and I saw this bug as "fixed" in Trac)?

    (This was asked before but the answers were not conclusive) While I love development using Xcode (3.2.1), I have the need to port some projects to other UNIX systems, and even Windows. The code is all C++ but fairly complex. I'm looking for a way to automated / semi-automated generation of equivalent Makefiles out of my Xcode projects, after getting tired to do this by manual trial-and-error. Thanks for any hints.   • Unit Test json output in Zend Framework

    The Zend Tutorial lists many assertions to check the output generated by a request. http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.test.phpunit.html But they all seem to assume that the output is html. I need to test json output instead. Are there any assertions helpful to check json, or is there at least a generic way to make assertions against the output? Anything that doesn't rely on the request outputting html?

    This question was inspired by what-features-would-you-like-to-see-added-to-c. anBasically, C++ is a great general-purpose language. But perhaps too general and feature-rich... multiple inheritance, operator overloading, manual memory management, templates, smart pointers, virtual destructors, legacy frameworks (think MFC), and I could just go on. Is there any one feature / aspect of C++ that you would like taken away, to make our lives easier as C++ developers? One feature per answer, please.

    I need to count words in a string using PHP or Javascript (preferably PHP). The problem is that the counting needs to be the same as it works in Microsoft Word, because that is where the people assemble their original texts in so that is their reference frame. PHP has a word counting function (http://php.net/manual/en/function.str-word-count.php) but that is not 100% the same as far as I know. Any pointers?

Of course that's because I need to recompile them in order to test them through my local Apache web server. I would like to get around this manual process by employing some automatic means of compiling them on save, or on build through Eclipse, or something like that.     I'm trying to do a manual jQuery AJAX request the following way: $("#user_plan_id").change(function() { $("#plan_container").load('/plans/' + this.value); }); I have the "rails.js" file included in my header, and a "<%= csrf_meta_tag %". I see from my log that the request IS getting to the server (although without the authenticity token... does rails.js even do this?), but the response is a 302 (Found) rather than 200, and no data actually gets rendered. Any ideas?

    HI I'd like to know how to check out the speed of a file being uploaded in real time using the curl library in c++. This is what I have written: curl_easy_getinfo(curl,CURLINFO_SPEED_UPLOAD,&c); But the manual says that it shows average speed, but even this doesn't seem to work with me, because I can only see a 0. There is one more thing: How to set an upload limit that works, because if I write this: curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_MAX_SEND_SPEED_LARGE, 100); I get an error 502 message plis help

  • No Secure Random Number Generators Available in JDK

    Hi, I am currently running JDK 6 on Windows 7 and have installed the Unlimited Strength Policy Files. I wrote a Java app some time ago which used to work but now fails, giving an error message indicating that the SHA1PRNG SecureRandom is not available. I have tried printing a list of cryptographic providers available on the platform and it would appear that there are no secure random number generators available - does anyone have any idea why this might be?     Hi I want to close an open port which is in listening mode between my client and server application. Is there any manual command line option in Linux to close a port ?? NOTE: I came to know that "only the application which owns the connected socket should close it, which will happen when the application terminates." I dont understand why it is only possible by the application which opens it ... But still eager to know if there is any another way to do it ??
