  • Hudson: where to download file and stop specific builds running ?

    I have a file that is generated inside (hudson server) /var/lib/hudson/jobs/jobtitle/1/out.txt I need to fetch this file, but doing a GET request for http://myhudson:8090/job/jobtitle/1/out.txt doesn't actually locate the file. Basically, I have another box that will grab this file from the hudson server. This box will make the out.txt file available for download. Another challenge is the build number directories. How would I be able to use the hudson API to stop or delete the specific builds running ? I am forced to do iterate through all build numbers to send STOP or DELETE api call in php using wget to do the REST API call.     We have a PHP web app running on a customer's machine. For an update, we have a bit of code in C that we'd like to include as a native opaque library along with the PHP web app. How does one go about calling a C/C++ lib. function from PHP? It cannot be assumed that the PHP app, called by the web server, has any sort of permission to call an exec(), eval(), or system() type of function to execute a C wrapper driver which in turn uses the C/C++ library, so it would need to be a direct C library use from within the PHP code.

  • Under what circumstances would a Ruby $LOAD_PATH be acquired from a parent process?

    In my cucumber scenarios, if I call rake db:schema:load within a target Rails app folder, I get the cucumber process's $LOAD_PATH and not the Rails app's own Gemfile/load path. I think this is very weird. The consequence is that I get the following error: no such file to load -- rails/all I can't reproduce it outside of my cucumber scenario. ruby -rubygems -e "system 'rake -T'" works normally - the 'rake -T' has the application's own Gemfile-based $LOAD_PATH; and doesn't generate the error above. Can anyone think why a child process (rake -T or rake db:schema:load or rails runner...; invoked by either system, exec, %x[...] or backtick; would start with the parent processes' $LOAD_PATH (from the cucumber scenario's Gemfile) instead of its own $LOAD_PATH (from the Rails app's Gemfile)?

I've found a workaround by giving the link's href attribute a value of "#", and using the title for the url like this: And updating the jQuery code accordingly, but this is a problem where my links are dynamically generated, and I can't have the url in the title attribute. Any ideas how to solve this?

    Hello all, I have two problems which are related. 1) I have a batch file that contains this: net stop wampapache net start wampapache Which tries to stop and start my wamp server. When I double click the stop.bat file with the above it works successfully. When I try to run that from my PHP script, it stops the server but doesn't start it fully which I am guessing is because Apache is waiting for that PHP process to exit? function php_kill(){ exec('stop.bat', $output = array(), $return); return $return; } 2) Is there a way to restart my webserver (apache) whilst keeping session variables that PHP needs available? So if I want to run 'foo', it will look for 'foo.bat', 'foo.exe' under windows and 'foo' under other OSs (or, have a way of passing a map of os-command) Being able to execute Java classes by simply giving the class name and arguments (so the package locates the java command, copies jvm flags and then executes) Process stdout and stderr properly Watchdog / Monitoring capabilities I've looked at commons-exec but it looks like it answers only 3 & 4. Ant has support for execution but looks like an overkill to use it for this purpose only.

  • How can I load a SQLITE database from a buffer with the C API ?

    Hello, I am trying to load a database from the memory instead of opening a .sqlite file. I have read the C/C++ API reference but I can not find the proper method. The buffer I am trying to load is simply an sqlite file loaded in memory. I just want to use this buffer (a const char* array) without using the filesystem (I could have saved this buffer in a file, then load the file, but no). First, I create a memory DB : mErrorCode = sqlite3_open_v2(":memory:", &mSqlDatabase, lMode, NULL); This returns SQLITE_OK, then I tried to use the buffer as a statement and call preparev2(MyDB, MyBufferData, MyBufferLength, MyStatement, NULL) but it's not really a statement, and it returns an error. Same result if I call directly exec(MyDB, MyBufferData, NULL, NULL, NULL); I guess there is an appropriate method to achieve this as it might be common to load a DB from a stream or from decrypted data...     I know that it is quite easy to figure out a terminal's size parameters via the stty -a command. When using local CLI PHP scripts, there is no problem at all on grabbing that output via system() or so. But I am trying the same thing via a php script started from an ssh command. Sadly, all that stty ever returns is: stty: standard input: Invalid argument. The calling code is: exec('stty -a | head -n 1', $query); echo $query[0]; So the question is: If I can output to the terminal and read input from it (e.g. can fread() from STDIN and fwrite() to STDOUT in PHP, shouldn't stty also have valid STDIN and STDOUT?

  • How do you write a recursive stored procedure

    I simply want a stored procedure that calculates a unique id and inserts it. If it fails it just calls itself to regenerate said id. I have been looking for an example, but cant find one, and am not sure how I should get the sp to call itself, and set the appropriate output parameter. Also i want a way to turn off my output buffering.I tried flush() and ob functions but didn't succedded.In my /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini php.ini value of output_buffering = 4096.When I change it to Off and restart my apache2 server it fails to restart.P.S.   • Why doesn't functools.partial return a real function (and how to create one that does)?

    So I was playing around with currying functions in Python and one of the things that I noticed was that functools.partial returns a partial object rather than an actual function. One of the things that annoyed me about this was that if I did something along the lines of: five = partial(len, 'hello') five('something') then we get TypeError: len() takes exactly 1 argument (2 given) but what I want to happen is TypeError: five() takes no arguments (1 given) Is there a clean way to make it work like this?     I have an array of tags per item like so: item1 = ['new', 'expensive'] item2 = ['expensive', 'lame'] I also have a boolean expression as a string based on possible tags: buy_it = "(new || expensive) && !lame" How can I determine if an item matches the buying criteria based on the tags associated with it? My original thought was to do a gsub on all words in buy_it to become 'true' or 'false' based on them existing in the itemx tags array and then exec the resulting string to get a boolean result. But since the Ruby community is usually more creative than me, is there a better solution?

  • Trying to send text message using sp_send_dbmail truncates url in body

    I'm using send_dbmail to send a text message to customers. This is the following sql: exec msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail @recipients='[email protected]', @body='check out this url https://www.someurl.com/directory/blah.aspx', @subject='I am the subject!' The body gets truncated to "check out this url https://www.someurl.com/directory/blah.as" (the "px" is removed from the end of the url). I've ruled out message length as I have tried sending just "www.google.com/test.aspx" and the "px" is removed as well. Another strange thing, when I try forwarding the text message to myself and add the "px" back on myself, it works. It also works if I send a email from outlook with the same body. Any ideas? Thanks.
