    hello , i am trying to create table (orderdetails) , the table has two FKs and PKs at the same keys here is my code create table OrderDetails2 ( PFOrder_ID Number(3) PFProduct_ID Number(3) CONSTRAINT PF PRIMARY KEY (PFOrder_ID,PFProduct_ID), CONSTRAINT FK_1 FOREIGN KEY (PFProudct_ID) REFERENCES Product(Product_ID), CONSTRAINT FK_2 FOREIGN KEY (PFOrder_ID) REFERENCES Orderr(Order_ID) ); i am using Oracle express , a problem pops when i run the code , here is it ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis what is the problem ?

    Hi all, I am running sql queries on a mysql db table that has 110Mn+ unique records for whole day. Problem: Whenever I run any query with "where" clause it takes at least 30-40 mins. Since I want to generate most of data on the next day, I need access to whole db table. Could you please guide me to optimize / restructure the deployment model?   • Select calls seems to not time out.

    HI Folks, I have a threaded C++ program where up to three threads are calling select on a three separate socket descriptors waiting for data to become available. Each thread handles one socket and adds it to the readfds with a timeout of 300 seconds. After select returns if there is data available I'm calling recv to read it. Is there anything that I need to be aware of with winsock and threads because for some reason after a number of hours the select calls all seem to be not timing out. Can a multi threaded program select from a number of threads without issue? I know that I should have one thread listening to all three sockets however that would be a large change for this app and I'm only looking to apply a bug fix. cheers, Martin.

    Hi all I have two tables and want to make a query. I tried to get team AA and team BB's image base on table A. I used: SELECT tableA.team1, tableA.team2, tableB.team, tableB.image, FROM tableA LEFT JOIN tableB ON tableA.team1=tableB.team The result only display imageA on the column. Are there any ways to select imageA and image B without using the second query? I appreciate any helps! Thanks a lot! " I've also seen self-proclaimed senior programmers take more than 10-15 minutes to write a solution." For those that can't be bothered to read the article, the background is this: ....I set out to develop questions that can identify this kind of developer and came up with a class of questions I call "FizzBuzz Questions" named after a game children often play (or are made to play) in schools in the UK. An example of a Fizz-Buzz question is the following: Write a program that prints the numbers from 1 to 100. But for multiples of three print "Fizz" instead of the number and for the multiples of five print "Buzz". For numbers which are multiples of both three and five print "FizzBuzz". SO I decided to test myself. I took 5 minutes in C++ and 3mins in c#! So just for fun try it and post your timings + language used!     I have a JSON array that look like this: (array here) I'm trying to use Flex to display each Project and its Milestone elements similar to a nested for-loop for 15 seconds per Milestone element before advancing to the next Project. I was shown a technique that works well for something without another array buried into it. var key:int = 0; var timer:timer = new timer (10000, project.length); timer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, function showStuff(event:EVENT):void { trace project[key].projectName; key++; }); timer.start(); But that only replicate a single FOR-LOOP and not a nested FOR-LOOP.     I'm calling an external web service API that returns a timezone as listed in the Olson timezones database (e.g. "America/New_York"). However some of the values the API returned are "US/Pacific", "US/Eastern" and apparently don't match any of the Olson timezones in Rails 2.3.2. Can anyone shed some light on this?   • Strange problem with ie6 messing up layout, and fixing byitself some time after loading

    We have a big ie6 layout problem with a newly launched website: in the header in our homepage, we have a coda-slider, and apparently its messing upt the wole layout of the front page. I have been looking at float and height problems but cannot seem to solve it. Also, the most strange part is that if you wait a while after loading, the layout "fixes itself". Help! The url is the following (without the spaces, sorry) w w w . r e - c r e a r t . c o m Edit: update, it sounds crazy, but if you press control and use the mouse wheel (as if you were zooming in /out in a modern browser, although ie6 doesnt do that) the layout fixes as well. Please help, I am going crazy.

I don't know why MSVS create some kind of project's "lib" file whenever I press F5 to debug application. I just converted a solution file from 2005 to 2010. And this problem is occured. When I run it with a third party query app I have works fine, but when I try to implement it into visual studio I can't do it. What is the correct way to extract last month data? I have some function taht is caller periodically: var func = function() { alert('Hello world!'); }; func.periodical(5000); This function is also called with click event: $('element').addEvent('click', function(){ func(); }); The timer starts and counts 2500msec, then I click $('element'), func() is executed and I want right now to reset the timer that func() will not be called in next 2500msec but in following 5000msec.   • SELECT only a certain set of rows at a time

    I need to select data from one table and insert it into another table. Currently the SQL looks something like this: INSERT INTO A (x, y, z) SELECT x, y, z FROM B b WHERE ... However, the SELECT is huge, resulting in over 2 millions rows and we think it is taking up too much memory. Informix, the db in this case, runs out of virtual memory when the query is run. How would I go about selecting and inserting a set of rows (say 2000)? Given that I don't think there are any row ids etc.
