Is there aany other way to use custom cursors? How efficient/usable would it be to hide the cursor and show a png instead?

    When using the rich faces suggestionBox how can you pass more than one id or value from the page with the text input to the suggestionBox backing bean. ie: to show a list of suggested cities within a selected state? But Liferay is still checking whether the same user email id is configured in the liferay db or not. If its not, it is saying that authetication failed. I do not want to keep any user information in the liferay db. Do any one know how to do that? Regards Vishal G

  • How to handle null return from custom HttpHandler in asp.net?

    I'm using a custom ashx HttpHandler to retrieve gif images from a database and show it on a website - when the image exists, it works great. However, there are cases when the image will not exist, and I'd like to have the html table holding the image to become invisible so the "image not found" icon is not shown. But since the HttpHandler is not synchronous, all my attempts checking for image size at Page_Load were frustrated. Any ideas on how this can be accomplished?

    Working on a custom model binder in ASP.NET MVC 2. Most of the time I am binding data from typical form or querystring data. There are times that I end up letting the model binder bind part of an object and get the rest out of session at the controller action level. Does it make better sense to bind the entire object from the model binder (e.g. querystring, form, and session)?

    Since i'm working with Titanium i realzed that its current JavaScript Interpreter doesn't accept specific coding-styles. So for for-loops and if-statements i have to have braces, even though i only want to span one line. Furthermore there is more i have to change if i want to use a Javascript Library like underscore.js.   • Why do custom styled Google Maps (v3) not support marker animation (pin drop)?

    For example, I cannot combine the concepts of this simple example: link text with the concepts of this example: link text, which uses the styled V3 api. In Chrome I get an error saying that: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DROP' of undefined And it refers to this line of code: animation: google.maps.Animation.DROP, When I replace the javascript link reference to use the version of the API from the first example, the error goes away, but I lose the custom styling.
