    I've tried to connect to my local machine every time I try and run my program. I am a nub, so it's probably a simple mistake somewhere. def connect(self): self.conn = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) self.conn.connect((self.host,self.port)) That is the code causing the error. The host and port are defined. Why is it giving me this error report? [Errno 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

    I'm trying to connect to a mobile host connected over a 3G cell router from linux with ssh [email protected] -p 2200 and all I immediately get is (doesn't even seem to run into a timeout) ssh: connect to host 74.198.25.220 port 2200: Network is unreachable However, when I try the same IP on port 2200 with putty on Windows, it presents my with the password prompt just fine as I'd expect. What's going on here, do I need to increment my ssh timeout period to get this going or what? Thank you, Ron

(wsHttp or netTcp) Is it required that the aspNetCompatibilityEnabled be set to true for a service that has webHttp binding (and can this setting coexist for other endpoints) I understand I can use both JQuery and ScriptManager for making WCF calls on the client. Why should I use one over the other?

It'd be great to be able to push my changes to a mercurial host and have my instances automatically update across the ec2 network when they are reset!     I'm having a problem with a django website I host with lighttpd + fastcgi. It works great but it seems that the first request always takes up to 3seconds. Subsequent requests are much faster (<1s). I activated access logs in lighttpd in order to track the issue. But I'm kind of stuck. Unfortunately the web hosting plans, which declared to support UNLIMITED SPACE rarely allows me to host files on those space. So what I need is the unlimited file storage service which could host all of my users' files. I found Amazon S3, already provides such service, but could anybody recommends me for other better ?

  • MySQL on two ports using IPTables - self-access

    I trying to make MySQL available by 2 ports: 3306 and 3339 I added rule to iptables: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i bond0 -p tcp --dport 3339 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3306 and everythin is great for remote connections. But if I'm trying to connect it locally, I'm getting an error: mysql -u username -ppassword --port=3339 -h Host.Name ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'Host.Name' (111) Any ideas how can I edit iptables to get local access via 3339 port?

    Is there a way to 'copy and paste' the RC3 to my host without having to run 'make composer-install'? Unfortunately my host is lousy and doesn't allow for this. Restler 2 was as easy to install as putting the files into a directory and making a few config changes. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore. I love Restler 2 but need the functionality offered in RC3. Any insight is greatly appreciated!
