    Do you know of a way to get rid of CRM User accounts in MSCRM 4.0? After some user accounts have been deleted in AD we're faced a lot of issues while importing the organisation to another server stating that there are issues with the user mapping. What kind of idea is behind the fact that no user accounts can be deleted from the crm installation? Is there any tool or undocumented Webservice API call to get rid of crm users?     Is there currently a way to host a shared Git repository in Windows? I understand that you can configure the Git service in Linux with: git daemon Is there a native Windows option, short of sharing folders, to host a Git service? EDIT: I am currently using the cygwin install of git to store and work with git repositories in Windows, but I would like to take the next step of hosting a repository with a service that can provide access to others.

    Hello How can I measure programicaly (not query the OS, but measure) the size and order of associativity of L1 and L2 caches (data caches)? Assumtions about system: It has L1 and L2 cache (may be L3 too, may be cache sharing), It may have a hardware prefetch unit (just like P4+), it has a stable clocksource (tickcounter or good HPET for gettimeofday). There are no assumtions about OS (it can be Linux, Windows, smth non-standart), and we can't use posix queries. Language is C. And Compiler optimizations may be disabled.

  • HttpServletRequest.getServerName() occasionally returning null in concurrent use?

    Under JBoss 4.0.1SP1, I have a servlet that makes multiple, concurrent calls to web services that are running under the same instance. I'm using request.getServerName() (on HttpServletRequest) to construct the endpoint URL. This normally works fine, but every once in a while returns null. I hadn't seen this before running the web service requests in parallel, and so I guessed that sharing the HttpServletRequest among threads won't always work or something. Any ideas on fixing this?

    Has anyone gotten UIFileSharingEnabled or CFBundleDocumentTypes to work? I added UIFileSharingEnabled as true to my plist and used Apple's example from the link below for CFBundleDocumentTypes, but can't seem to get it to work.   • What's the right way to communicate between 2 or more .Net applications running on a same computer w

    If my applications run on a same computer or even on different computers in a same LAN and need intense and quick communication, it seems illogical for me to use text-encoded web services and HTTP. I could possibly use IP/TCP/UDP sockets and invent my own protocols, but believe there is a standard way for .Net applications to send/receive object instances (and, maybe, even sharing an object by reference?). Can you tell me what's that standard way? I am only interested in .Net Framework 4 applications and don't need to support legacy frameworks.

    Hi there, I'm using CodeIgniter to develop a new web app, and I'd like to create a mobile version that users get redirect to when they visit it from their phones. The mobile version of the app should have a different flow, so swapping CSS/HTML files in the code is not an option for me since the mobile version and the web version will handle things differently in their Controllers and Views, while sharing the same Models. Is this really the best way to do it?
