    Hi, I have three entities ClassA, ClassB and ClassC. ClassA { ... @Id @GeneratedValue @Column(name = "a_id") private long id; ... @OneToMany(cascade={CascadeType.ALL}) @JoinColumn(name="a_id") private List<ClassB> bbb; ... } ClassB { ... @ManyToOne private ClassC ccc; ... } ClassC { ... private String name; ... } I want to filter by hibernate criteria ClassA by 'name' member of ClassC. So I want to obtain by hibernate criteria list of ClassA objects which have inside ClassC objects with specified name. Problem is that access to ClassC objects is through ClassB list. I tried something like this but it does not work: crit.createCriteria("bbb").createCriteria("ccc").add(Restrictions.ilike("name", name, MatchMode.ANYWHERE)); I will be grateful for help.

    I have to implement a one linked list but it should put object in appropriate position. Everything was OK when I use it in conjunction with specific class, but when I tried make it universal and argument of method insert was Object some problem appeared. When I want to input Object in right position I should use CompareTo method, but there isn't method in Object class! The problem is how to compare two object elements without known about their real types. Maybe I should use generic class type? But what about CompareTo? Or maybe combine with Element class and place CompareTo there?     Hi all, I'm having trouble coming up with a solution for the following problem and i was wondering if someone here would help me out. I need to pull a list of supplies from a db table and list them along with two textboxes (one for quantity, and another for manufacturer) so the list would look something like this. checkbox for supply 1 | Quantity | Manufacturer checkbox for supply 2 | Quantity | Manufacturer .. I also need to store all of the checked items in a db table. I'm not sure how i should go about doing this. I've heard some talk about a repeater control being useful but i've not come across any examples that do this type of thing. Thanks in advance

    I'm writing a small C# application that will use Internet Explorer to interact with a couple a websites, with help from WatiN. However, it will also require from time to time to use a proxy. I've came across Programmatically Set Browser Proxy Settings in C#, but this only enables me to enter a proxy address, and I also need to enter a Proxy username and password. How can I do that? Note: It doesn't matter if a solution changes the entire system Internet settings. However, I would prefer to change only IE proxy settings (for any connection). The solution has to work with IE8 and Windows XP SP3 or higher. I'd like to have the possibility to read the Proxy settings first, so that later I can undo my changes. EDIT With the help of the Windows Registry accessible through Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey, i was able to apply a proxy something like this: RegistryKey registry = Registry.CurrentUser.OpenSubKey("Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Internet Settings", true); registry.SetValue("ProxyEnable", 1); registry.SetValue("ProxyServer", "127.0.0.1:8080"); But how can i specify a username and a password to login at the proxy server? I also noticed that IE doesn't refresh the Proxy details for its connections once the registry was changed how can i order IE to refresh its connection settings from the registry? Thanks

  • How can you change Network settings (IP Address, DNS, WINS, Host Name) with code in C#

    I am developing a wizard for a machine that is to be used as a backup of other machines. When it replaces an existing machine, it needs to set its IP address, DNS, WINS, and host name to match the machine being replaced. Is there a library in .net (C#) which allows me to do this programatically? There are multiple NICs, each which need to be set individually. EDIT Thannk you TimothyP for your example. It got me moving on the right track and the quick reply was awesome. Thanks balexandre. Your code is perfect. I was in a rush and had already adapted the example TimothyP linked to, but I would have loved to have had your code sooner. I've also developed a routine using similar techniques for changing the computer name. I'll post it in the future so subscribe to this questions RSS feed if you want to be informed of the update. I may get it up later today or on Monday after a bit of cleanup.

  • WCF - remote service without using IIS - base address?

    I'm trying to get my head around the addressing of WCF services. We have a client-server setup where the server occasionally (maybe once a day) needs to push data to each client. I want to have a lightweight WCF listener service on each client hosted in an NT service to receive that data. We already have such an NT service setup hosting some local WCF services for other tasks so the overhead of this is minimal. Because of existing legacy code on the server I believe the service needs to be exposed as ASMX and use basicHttpBinding to allow it to connect. Each client is registered on the server by the user (they need to configure them individually) so discovery is not the issue. My question is, how does the addressing work? I imagine the user entering the client's address on the server in the form http://0.0.0.0/MyService or even http://hostname/MyService If so, how do I configure the client service in its App.config? Do I use localhost? If not then what is the reccommended way of exposing the service to the server? Note: I don't want to host in IIS as that adds extra requirements to the hardware required for the client. The clients will be almost certainly located on LANs, not over the public internet

    I am working on outlook add-in project using Visual studio 2008 for MS Outlook 2007 in C#. Here I am explaining my problem... I got multiple accounts (3 Accounts) with my outlook 2007. I need to get accounts form Account box in New Mail Message window. When we click New Mail Message, a new window will appear from which we can send a new mail. Here (On this window) we can see Account Dropdown (Left side) under the Send Button. If we have multiple accounts with outlook, we can see all the accounts in Account Drop Down if we click on Account Box. If we click on the particular email, a right mark will appear to that Email Account and a message can bee seen on the top of the Send button is "This message will be sent via [email protected]". So, I want to get these email accounts into a string and that particular email account (which has right mark) into another string. I got these 3 email accounts into a string. But, I am not getting the particular email account(which has the right mark when we send a new email).     Is it possible to have support for enabling DataModelSelection on a list page paginated via EntityQuery? (All the examples load the list by performing a query on the @Factory method). But, I would like to re-use the existing pagination mechanism and just enable the ability to support DataModelSelection on it. I am also assuming that DataModelSelection is capable of tracking a single row in a List, how do we extend this to support a certain action (say deletion, activation ...) of multiple rows. I am a newbie and would appreciate any help on this topic. I have already gone through the samples shipped as part of Seam (booking, message). I am trying to convert to from an item array to the list using the following piece of code: Item variationsFolder = masterDB.SelectSingleItem(VariationsFolderID.ToString()); List<Item> variationList = variationsFolder.GetChildren().ToList<Item>(); However I keep getting this error whenever I try to build: 'Sitecore.Collections.ChildList' does not contain a definition for 'ToList' and the best extension method overload 'System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList<TSource>(System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<TSource>)' has some invalid arguments I have the following usings: using System.Linq; using System.Xml.Linq; Am referencing: System.Core I've just copied this code from another location, so it should work fine, can only think that there is something simple (like a reference or something that I am missing).

    My models: class Order(models.Model): ordered_by = models.ForeignKey(User) reasons = models.ManyToManyField(Reason) class Reason(models.Model): description = models.CharField() Basically a user creates an order and gives reasons for that order. ie, john has two orders (one for pencils because he is out AND because he doesn't like his current stock. a second order for pens because he is out). I want to print a list out of all reasons a user has placed his orders. So under john, it should print "he is out", "he doesn't like his current stock"; those two lines only. If I simply select all of john's orders, iterate through them and print out their "reasons" it'll print "he is out", "he doesn't like his current stock" and then "he is out" again. I don't want these duplicate values. How do I select a list of his reasons for ALL his orders so that the list has all unique rows?

    Hi all, I have have several ULs vertically down a page. They are setup using jQueryUI's sortable(). My live example is: http://jsfiddle.net/pborreli/pJgyu/ I can drag from answers to make it the final element in questions. But when I drag from questions to answers the placeholder jumps to the second item in the questions list. At that point I can then drag it to the top. Any ideas why I am having this issue dragging from a list above to the first element of a list below? I've tried editing the padding and margin on both the lists and the sortable items.     Hi, As per my requirement I have written a custom panel which will display three ListBoxes to enable user to select date from this custom list boxes.These three list boxes are responsible for showing month,day,year value. Now I would like to make my three list boxes are editable and at the same time selectable. I mean I would like to provide a user preferences that date can editable and at the same time selectable. How can I do this in GWT. Here I am using GWT2.0. Any one please give an idea.

  • iBatis mapping: map a string field into a List<String>

    Hi all, is it possible to map a string field with a particular format like: aaa,bbb,ccc,ddd into a List having elements [aaa, bbb, ccc, ddd] using iBatis? What I need is to have in my model something like: public class Request{ private List<String> fieldOne; public List<String> getFieldOne(){....} public void setFieldOne(){....} } even if in my table the field is a simple string.   • Access 2007 VBA : Building a listbox with selection choices from another list box

    So there are 8 categories that may be associated to each order, but not necessarily all of them. So i was going to build a list box that allowed the user to double click each of the category they wish to associate when they have an "Order Detail" form opened up (unbound form that has hidden text boxes with all needed ID numbers). I want to have another empty text box right beside it that will allow me to append the selections (up to 8) so the user can see that they have been added. So one list box with the default choices, and when a choice is double clicked, it adds that choice to the second list box to see the tally so to speak. What is the VB for getting something like this done? Thanks Justin

    My DevExpress CSV export has two lines per record. Rank Score,Prog.,Full Address 63.30 ,JIW ,1234 Whispering Pines Dr , ,Sometown MI 48316 62.80 ,JIW ,9876 Beagle Dr , ,Sometown Twp MI 48382 I would like to change it to one line because I want to do a Word Merge. (Unless Word can merge these two lines back together, which I do not thing it can do) Does the DevExpress XtraGrid ExportToText allow for this?   • List Management Via MailChimp API

    I'm investigating using the MailChimp API to manage email notifications for a social networking site (similar to how Twitter sends email notifications to followers when a followee posts a new Tweet). My original plan was to have a "follower" list for each user in the app and then send an email to that list each time that user posts new content. However, it appears that the MailChimp API intentionally doesn't support creating campaign lists via the API (for CAN-SPAM reasons). I've read something about list segmentation in MailChimp, but I don't think that helps me with this situation. I'm curious if anyone else has run into a similar requirement to mine and how they dealt with it. Any insights would be most appreciated! Thanks.

Ho do I do cron job using a list of urls?? actually the search path is mention below www.mydomain.com/search?url=www.google.com after google.com another url which is in the urllist.txt should be the next. so at the end of the day the whole list of urls in urllist.txt will be completed and saved in my database. what I need is how do I array urls in search path from urllist.txt.....and put it in cron job rest I can handle Thanks Mathew

I'm trying to make a phone book type list that displays the users name, cellnumber and possible a delete button. --- Bob 09XXXXXXXXX delete --- Sussie 09XXXXXXXXX delete --- Johnny 09XXXXXXXXX delete --- I've tried making a list and added to it a XML dataprovider <profiles> <profile> <label>Bob</label> ... </profile> It'll then display a list of names Bob Sussie Johnny But what do I have to do in order to get it print like fig 1? I know that it has something to do with CellRender but I can't seem to find any decent examples in Google.
