  • Enabling new admin action(button sales_order/view) in ACL

    Hi, We created new action similar to 'hold', 'ship' and others in the 'sales_order/view' admin section that can be triggered by clicking at the button. Afterward, we added our new action to the ACL with the following code in config.xml: <acl> <resources> <admin> <children> <sales> <children> <order> <children> <actions translate="title"> <title>Actions</title> <children> <shipNew translate="title"><title>Ship Ups</title></shipNew> </children> </actions> </children> <sort_order>10</sort_order> </order> </children> </sales> </children> </admin> </resources> </acl> ACL functionality works, however, in the 'Resources Tree'(System/Permissions/Roles/Role Resources) our new action does never show up as selected(checked) even thou it is allowed for particular Role. I can see that from table 'admin_rule' with resource id for our new action that it is allowed, so it needs to be selected, but it is not. When trying to solve this issue i looked into the template(permissions/rolesedit.phtml) and I found that the 'resource tree' is draw with Javascript...thats where i got stock due to my limited knowledge in Javascript. Why the resource tree does not display our new ACL entry correctly, that is the check box is never checked? Thank You for helping margots

However, the name "branch-on-sign" seems to denote something very concrete. So, what is it? Perhaps, it's language-specific, but I don't really know. Probably, it's related to embedded development.

    I want to hook new and delete operators. But I am unable to locate the original DLLs where these operators reside. I used msvcr90.dll, msvsr90d.dll, msvcrt.dll, kernal32.dll, ole32.dll and some more dlls as well. But my spying application is unable to locate new and delete operators. Kindly if someone could tell me in which DLL new and delete operators are defined.

  • Incorrect new Uri(base, relative) behaviour in .NET

    When you create a new Uri like this: New Uri(New Uri("http://example.com/test.php"),"?x=y") it returns: http://example.com/?x=y It was supposed to return: http://example.com/test.php?x=y according to the every major browser out there (I'm not quite sure what RFC says though). Is this is a bug or is there any other function out there which behaves correctly, also what's the best way to fix it without reinventing the wheel?

    I've done consulting work for years and I've got code snippets in various languages lying around that I'll re-use for various projects. The collection is getting pretty large and I want to set up a code bank for myself. What code banks do people use? Do you find it helps, or is there some better way of organising my reusable code snippets? (If one does exist, I'd prefer it be open-source, accessible via a web browser, language-agnostic, and maybe colour the code the way Stackoverflow does :)

    Hi I just noticed that if you creating a new view on jEdit, when you editing the new one, it affected the text on the original window's text as well, how could I create a New view that allow the user to duplicate data for the current shown view only and not effecting the old ones? I try to find solutions on the source code, then I find seems there are setting that related to this: http://www.jedit.org/users-guide/buffersets.html but I didn't find the selection mentioned on my setting.

    How can I update the JProgressBar.setValue(int) from another thread? My secondary goal is do it in the least amount of classes possible. How can I update its value?(progress) The code above in run() cannot see the pbar.

  • C# XAML get new width and height for Canvas

    I have searched through many times but have not seen this before. Probably really simple question but can't wrap my head around it. Wrote a VSTO add-in for Excel that draws a Grid dynamically. Then launches a new window and replaces the contents of the Canvas with the generated Grid. The problem is with printing. When I call the print procedure the canvas.height and canvas.width returned is the old value prior to replacing it with the grid.     Hi Another Day, another CoreData problem,...but hopefully the last one now. Ok here is a copy of what I have : I have a List of Hotel Guests that stay in one Room and have Preferences. Once ready the user should select a guest and see the data and should also be able to add new guest, select the room (maintained also by application) and select their preferences (where the user can also add new preferences). The guest can have no or many preferences. So here is what I have so far. I created 3 Entities : - Rooms with roomnumber - Preferences with name - GuestInfo with name - with these Relationships room (Destination Rooms) and prefs (Destination Preferences with "To-Many Relationship") The prefs is a NSSet when you create a Managed Object Class. Now I created a UITableViewController to display all the data. I also have an edit and add mode. When I add a new Guest and just fill out the name, everything works fine. But when I want to add the prefs or the room number I get this error : Illegal attempt to establish a relationship 'room' between objects in different contexts Now, what confuses me is that when I add a guest and enter just the name, save it, go back and edit it and select the prefs and room number it works ? I have this line in both ViewControllers to select the room or prefs : [editedObject setValue:selectedRoom forKey:editedFieldKey]; with this .h : NSManagedObject *editedObject; NSString *editedFieldKey; NSString *editedFieldName; Again, it works on the editing mode but not when I want to add a fresh object. And to be sure, this is what I do for adding an new Guest : - (IBAction)addNewItem { AddViewController *addViewController = [[AddViewController alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewStyleGrouped]; addViewController.delegate = self; addViewController.context = _context; // Create a new managed object context for the new book -- set its persistent store coordinator to the same as that from the fetched results controller's context.   • Where are the new languages?

    Most now mainstream/popular (interpreted|scripting) programming languages were created around the 1990's. (Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP just to name a few). How many people knew about those languages around 1-2 years after they had been first published? Are there languages with potential of becoming as important as e.g.: Python or PHP being developed at the moment? I mean ... is there someone even seriously trying to create a new one? If the first version of a programming language is published and nearly nobody knows about it, as it was with all the languages I've mentioned above, where could I find out? Is there some sort of "list" or "network" dealing just with non-language-specific news? Is the area where Perl, Python, Ruby and PHP fit in already fully covered? Do you know of concrete examples of new programming languages being seriously developed or rising at the moment? (Except Google's go!)

    I have a thread that needs to create a popup Window. I start the thread using ThreadPool.QueueUserWorkItem(new WaitCallback(CreatePopupinThread)) Thew thread creats a new form. The application freases in the new Form constructor at CreateHandle. The Worker Thread is locked...     I am rendering a new action but somehow getting the "index" URL. To be more specific, my create action looks like this: class ListingsController < ApplicationController def create @listing = Listing.new(params[:listing]) @listing.user = @current_user if @listing.save redirect_to @listing else flash[:error] = "There were errors" render :action => "new" end end end When there are errors, I get the "new" action but my URL is the index URL - http://domain.com/listings Anyone know why this would happen?   • New instruction sets in CPU

    Every new generation of CPU introduces some sets of new instruction, ie.: MMX,3DNOW,SSE and so on. I've got few general questions about them: 1) If some program uses for example SSE instruction can it be run on CPU that doesn't support SSE? 2) If yes , does it mean that those instuction will be changed to some greater number of simpler instuctions? 3) If not, does it mean that the real perfomance impact of such new instructions will be after few years when most CPU will support such technology (so there won't be any incompatibilities)? 4) When I compile a C++ program with optimizations does it mean that it'll use some of this new instructions? (I know that it depends on many factors, especcialy on the code, but I want some general answer) Or are they reserved mostly for programs written in asm?

  • to-many Core Data fetch request behaves oddly with a new store

    I have two entities, Department and Person. Department has a to-many relationship to Person. The Person entity has a hireDate property. I'm using the predicate "count(person) = 0 OR none person.hireDate %@" to find Departments without any Persons in them or Departments that haven't hired anyone since a recent date. When the app first starts up (new user experience) and Departments are inserted and no Person have been inserted, the fetch request with this predicate returns nothing. However, if I create insert a new Person entity and delete it, then save the store, the fetch request will return all the Departments. I've found a work around where, I just insert a new Person and delete it, then save the store, the fetch request as I expected it to work. I've found that inserting a new Person and deleting it without saving will not correct the problem. Is this a bug with Core Data or is this a bug with how I've designed my app?
