• Find methods related to testcases in Java

  I want to automatically change some methods in the program. These methods contain some compiler error and my program aims to fix these compiler errors. After fixing compiler errors I need to run test cases related to the changed method (or class) to know it is correct and if not which test cases failed. As the programs under investigation are very big, I only need to run test cases related to changes. As an example, if I change one method, then I need to only run test cases related to this method. Therefore, what I need is to programmatically be able to find test cases related to each method, and class. It is also useful if there is a tool that can do that for me. As an example, a tool which creates a matrix shows each test case is related to which method(s) One easy way to do that is to run all test cases and save functions they accessed. However, the problem is at the beginning the input program contains compiler error and it is not possible to run test cases because of these compiler error. Please let me know what is the best way to do that. An API or a tool that I can be used programmatically is the best for me.

• How do I daemonify my daemon?

  As part of the Ubuntu Accomplishments system I have a daemon that runs as well as a client that connects to it. The daemon is written in Python (using Twisted) and provides a dbus service and a means of processing requests from the clients. Right now the daemon is just a program I run before I run the client and it sets up the dbus service and provides an API that can be used by the clients. I want to transform this into something that can be installed and run as a system service for the user's session (e.g. starting on boot) and providing a means to start and stop it etc. The problem is, I am not sure what I need to do to properly daemonify it so it can run as this service. I wanted to ask if others can provide some guidance. Some things I need to ask: How can I treat it as a service that is run for the current user service (not a system service right now)? How do I ensure I can start, stop, and restart this session service? When packaging this, how do I ensure that it installs it as a service for the user's session and is started on login etc? In responding, if you can point me to specific examples or solutions I need to implement, that would be helpful. :-) Thanks! Jono

The version of the Oracle Solaris OS software that runs on a guest domain is independent of the Oracle Solaris OS version that runs on the primary domain. So, if you run the Oracle Solaris 10 OS in the primary domain, you can still run the Oracle Solaris 11 OS in a guest domain, and if you run the Oracle Solaris 11 OS in the primary domain, you can still run the Oracle Solaris 10 OS in a guest domain In addition to that starting with the Oracle VM Server for SPARC 2.2 release you can migrate guest domain even if source and target machines have different processor type. You can migrate guest domain from a system with UltraSPARC  T2+ or SPARC T3 CPU to a system with a SPARC T4 CPU.The guest domain on the source and target system must run Solaris 11 In order to enable cross CPU migration.In addition to that you need to change the cpu-arch property value on the source system.   I try to install Hping3 in my ubuntu 8.04 but after installation when I want to Hping3 I got this error: Command 'hping3' is available in '/usr/sbin/hping3' The command could not be located because '/usr/sbin' is not included in the PATH environment variable. • Optionally Running SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges with Delgates

  I was writing some SharePoint code today where I needed to give people the option of running some code with elevated permission.  When you run code in an elevated fashion it normally looks like this: SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(()=> {     //Code to run }); It wasn’t a lot of code so I was initially inclined to do something horrible like this: public void SomeMethod(bool runElevated) {     if(runElevated)     {         SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges(()=>         {             //Code to run         });     }     else     {         //Copy of code to run     } } Easy enough, but I did not want to draw the ire of my coworkers for employing the CTRL+C CTRL+V design pattern.  Extracting the code into a whole new method would have been overkill because it was a pretty brief piece of code.  But then I thought, hey, wait, I’m basically just running a delegate, so why not define the delegate once and run it either in an elevated context or stand alone, which resulted in this version which I think is much cleaner because the code is only defined once and it didn’t require a bunch of extra lines of code to define a method: public void SomeMethod(bool runElevated) {     var code = new SPSecurity.CodeToRunElevated(()=>     {         //Code to run     });     if(runElevated)     {         SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPermissions(code);         }     else     {         Code();     } }

The problem happen because my project is now based on Razor 3 RC and VS12 doesn’t even have support it. (Remember that VS team will ship support in VS update 4). My migration update it to Razor 3 (which is not related to MVC 4, MVC 4 used old version of Razor 2).   So how to fix the problem. Since VS update 4 in development and MVC 3 support exist in both old Version of VS (10,12) then better to migrate back our Razor to old version so we can use our project in VS 10 or 12. If your project have Razor 3 and it seem that Syntax highlighting doesn’t work for you then I suggest you to try this Nuget package https://www.nuget.org/packages/UpgradeMvc3ToMvc4 Remember that this will not be succeed. What you need to do is delete package folder in your project and now open the packages.config remove all entry of package now.   Now Run this command PM> Install-Package UpgradeMvc3ToMvc4 If this is failed then see what thing make error in console. simply remove the reference and try again. Now run it and see this will work.   After run this you will see that WebGrease Dll have a version number issue. Simply update it to version 1.5.2 and now you have ready your project to run it in .net 4. If you do bin deployment then you don’t need to have installed MVC 4 on server either. Remember that MVC 5 is based on .net 4.5 which simply means you can’t run it in VS10. until VS12 update 4 MVC 5 cshtml page will be work as simple html pages (syntax highlighting and intellisense).   I prefer to have a dedicated "administrator" user for technical purposes and that was one I've set up during installation. I've also refused to encrypt the home folder of the user. Now, as I've added a user account for my actual work usage I want my (but not the "administrator") home folder to be encrypted. How to turn this on? If it is not possible then how to enable encryption for all users home directories on a system already installed? I've found questions and answers about how to disable it but am not sure how to enable it.

  I wish to run about 50 Joomla or WordPress low-traffic websites on 1 server, or part of a server. Each website will be managed by its own, naive owner who will have be able to access the Joomla or Wordpress backend of the website. I am concerned about security and isolation as my users will periodically get into trouble by not protecting their sites properly. Two alternatives I know of exist: Run one Linux system with multiple websites under Apache. Follow current Joomla and WordPress security tips. Increase the isolation of the individual sites by using mpm-itk, which will allow each website to run as its own user. The alternative to this is to run virtualization software such as the Xen hypervisor. Each site would have its own, virtual Linux system. I lack the experience needed to make this decision and I am asking which path to take. Obviously, there may be other alternatives that I haven't considered.

  so i recently installed ubuntu alongside windows 7 and i installed crysis 2 with wine. crysis 2 works fine when i run windows, however when i run it using wine in ubuntu cryengine gives me a message saying, "Unsupported video card detected! Continuing to run migth lead to unexpected results or crashes....." i've got two video cards ones an intel and the other's a nvidia. i typed lspci into the terminal and my nvidia card was listed under video controller as well

What I did: 1) created a dir testrun in /etc/sv 2) created a script run in /etc/sv/testrun/run, the script content: #! /bin/bash exec /root/FP/annotate-output python /root/FP/test.py | logger -t svtest 3) If I call directly /etc/sv/testrun/run it executes successfully 4) I run sv start testrun (or sv run testrun, sv restart testrun), all of them end up with the same error msg: fail: sv: unable to change to service directory: file does not exist Any ideas what am I doing wrong?   I have a few ideas how to solve the problem, but one question about jboss clustering. Please, keep in mind these applications were written very poorly, that is why they require so much memory and there is nothing i can do about that right now. So, I have clustered applications on Jboss where the application was small enough to run on one box. Meaning that one machine could handle the load. But, the current problem is that i have been asked to run several systems on the same environment. Our machines are virtuals and due to limited hardware, are restricted to 8 GB RAM, which gives jboss about 7GB to itself. Unfortunately, that isn't enough to run the group of applications. Im constantly getting heap errors and crashes. If i cluster 2 or 3 jboss instances together, can i run applications that consume more resources than a single box can handle?

• Cannot change User Accounts settings

  I recently changed the name of the administrator and turned off passwords then clicked lock. After some time, I decided to add a password so I clicked on unlock and it's prompting me to enter a password. I tried typing the old password and it didn't accepted it. I also tried to set password and keys as "set to default" but still nothing happened. Now I'm stuck and can't get to change the administrator settings. I did my research but nothing seems to work. • How can I use LightDM for user-defined sessions?

  If I unterstand it correctly, LightDM has replaced GDM per default. I wonder if it's possible to make it run the things I put in my .xinitrc file ... what I need is an option below "Unity" and "Unity 2D" which says "Run a user-defined session". Is that possible? Should be the easiest thing, but I did not get a clue so far. I export and define and run a lot of things in this file, so it's pretty important for me to have control over that. What I do NOT want is a custom session in /usr/some/where, I only want it to run the stuff from each user's xinitrc (or similar).

  I've read that it can be dangerous for your computer to try to run Ubuntu and that the safest option is to run it on an external hard drive. Is this true? (I don't want to run it through a Virtual Machine.) I would prefer to dual boot it, given that my hard drive has so much space. Update: So does this mean that even if I have Ubuntu installed, that my data would still be at risk due to, say, stability issues?

  I've started a new project in WPF 4 (.NET 4) and trying to see if I can run it in xbap mode. I need to run the application in Full Trust with the new mode made available in .NET 4 which asks the end user if the full trust application should be run. • Suddenly unable to export to war file from exclipse

  I been working on this Servlet project all morning and now suddenly I cannot get eclipse to export the project to a war file. I tried restarting eclipse and cleaning the project but I just get the same result. • Problem using easy_install on Windows 7, 64 bit. (cannot find python.exe)

  Hi, I have just now installed Python 2.6 on my Windows 7 (64 bit) Lenovo t61p laptop. I have downloaded Sphinx and nose and apparently installed them correctly using python setup.py install (at least no errors were reported during the installation). Now I am trying to install pymongo using easy_install but I am not having much success. It seems that easy_install isn't working at all. I execute easy_install as administrator: C:\>easy_install Cannot find Python executable C:\Program Files\Python26\python.exe The path C:\Program Files\Python26\python.exe is correct. I have found this bug report on bugs.python.org which seems to be related, although its status is 'Resolved'. Do you have any ideas as to what may be wrong? Any pointers, hints or tips for diagnosing the problem further would be greatly appreciated. However, when you open multiple instances of the client window and try to add a new record, the windows that is performing the insert operation crashes with the ExecuteReader error and the " requires an open and available connection. the connection's current state is connecting" bla bla stuff.
