    Hi, I have winforms application and it has reference to library MyLibrary. MyLibrary has method: string[] GiveMeNamesOfAirports() { string[] lines= File.ReadLines("airports.txt"); foreach(string line in lines) ... } And when I run my Winforms application: I get error: file couldn't be find.   • Finding data file location while using Microsoft Test Framework

    I have been using NUnit and now I am switching to the Microsoft Unit Test frame work. In my test project I have a folder called TestData and I kept all my test input data files there. I want to use that files for my unit testing. In my test code, I am using Application name space and assembly name space but I can not get to the data folder directly until unless I write a code to find and replace some string to point to the data folder. I am sure someone might have run into the same problem, is the solution to change the path through program or is there a API call which will let us get to executing assembly folders? Thanks,

  • How to hide classes to external namespaces? Something like the package-protected modifier in Java

    In java is easy to "hide" classes from outside your package(namespace), as you can define them as package-protected. There seems to be no equivalent keyword modifier in C#. Is there any way I could mimic that behaviour in C#? I have a couple of classes that I really wouldn't like the rest of the assembly to know of. It is ok for classes in the same namespace to know of, but I'd like them to be hidden from the rest of the library/application. I know of the internal keyword, but that only hiddes classes if you try to access them from outside your assembly. That is not really my case, as I'd like to keep everything glued in just one .DLL/.EXE. Thanks

    I am following this article on creating persistent login cookies with my ASP.NET site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.security.formsauthentication.encrypt.aspx The issue is that when I navigate to the page, I get the following compiler error: Compiler Error Message: CS1061: 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' does not contain a definition for 'Login_Click' and no extension method 'Login_Click' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Can anyone tell me why this is. The error message doesn't really say much and I don't believe I am missing a directive or assembly reference. The code builds without any problems. EDIT: I did not include code because I said I was following that link which includes code. I copy/pasted from the example.

    I'm installing the Bitnami Redmine stack (redmine + subversion). Firstly I install configure and test it locally (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS). And everything is OK. I install Bitnami stack on server (Red Hat 4.4.7-4) and configure SVN. I commit files into SVN and connect project into Redmine with SVN repository, but when I try see it Rredmine displays 404 error.     from what i can gather the mailbox bit of the web interface works fine.. when any of the users go to options (top right) and try to use some of the features such as the Organise Mail Delivery Reports to find messages etc... it comes up with a message .. "An item with the same key has already been added" I've looked in the event viewer and i think its this error - Watson report about to be sent for process id: 7016, with parameters: E12IIS, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.00.0639.021, ECP, ECP.Powershell, https://x.x.x.x/ecp/PersonalSettings/Accounts.svc/GetList, UnexpectedCondition:ArgumentException, c09, 14.00.0639.021.     I don't have access to the Active Directory settings, nor do I have access to change anything on the linked server. From everything I've read, it seems like this means I cannot use Kerberos - which is a big problem, because I don't know how to use a linked server without it. Is there any way to connect to a linked server without Kerberos? Exact problem description When I connect to the linked server while sitting in front of my server, it works fine; but when I try to connect to the linked server from any other computer (delegating through my server), it gives the error: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456) It seems that this is the "double-hop problem," and the usual solution is to enable Kerberos, which requires access to AD and the linked server. I get the same error when I set security to "Be made using the login's current security context," and I can't use "Be made using this security context" because that appears to use SQL-authentication (which is not enabled on the linked server) instead of NTLM

    I want to place my databases in another directory, so I can store them in an ESB (elastic block storage, just a fancy name for a virtualized harddisk) together with my web-apps and other persistent data. I have tried to walk through a tutorial at http://crashmag.net/change-the-default-mysql-data-directory-with-selinux-enabled. Everything seems fine until I type this command: # semanage fcontext -a -t mysqld_db_t "/srv/mysql(/.*)?" Then the command fails and tells me that mysqld_db_t is an invalid SELinux context even if the default MySQL data directory is labelled with this context. I am running Fedora 15 on Virtualbox (behaves like an ordinary x86-compatible box) and Amazon EC2 (based on Xen) so the tutorial should be compatible. It is also worth to mention that turning off SELinux globally or just for the MySQL process is not an option, because such a solution will decrease the security of the system if a hacker gains access to the system via the MySQL server. I have never seen this problem before I changed to the Redhat/Fedora architecture, so it could be a distribution specific issue. Any help is highly appreciated

  • How to add LDAP user to existing local group in RHEL?

    I'm attempting to add some of our LDAP users to a locally defined group on our RHEL server, however I get an error stating that the LDAP user is not found in /etc/passwd. What would be the best way to allow LDAP users to be added to local groups? My feeling is that this must be done manually. I could edit: /etc/group and add the LDAP group to the list. Would that be ideal?     I am configuring Apache\PHP and noticed Apache complaining about permissions with the php shared object. Starting httpd: httpd: Syntax error on line 206 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/httpd/modules/libphp5.so into server: /usr/lib/httpd/modules/libphp5.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied I looked at the context (started fine with enforcement off) and found: [root@HDSSERVER conf]# ls --lcontext /usr/lib/httpd/modules/libphp5.so -rwxr-xr-x 1 root:object_r:httpd_modules_t root root 15565418 May 10 08:39 /usr/lib/httpd/modules/libphp5.so Shouldn't httpd (apache) be able to access files with a context of httpd_modules_t? I got it fixed by applying chcon -t textrel_shlib_t '/usr/lib/httpd/modules/libphp5.so' But I would think the httpd version would work before this one. Can someone explain this to me?

  • Deployment Workbench no longer available after PXE boot

    Our build process revolves around windows Deployment Workbench. Unfortunately this was setup by someone who is no longer with the company, and no-one has ever dared/needed to make any changes. The other day it stopped working. It turns out that one of our build guys started thinking about changing some stuff in it, clicked something and now it no longer works (He is saying now that he right clicked on the 'LAB' entry in 'Deployment points' and hit 'Update', which took some time to run through apparently). The job has fallen on me to resolve and frankly I'm not sure what I'm doing. I was wondering if someone with more experience than me can provide some pointers as to troubleshooting cos I'm feeling quite a lot in the dark here. On the server I have Deployment Workbench up and running (MMC snapin) version 3.0. There is a WDS service that appears to be running ok, as does the tFTPd service. Nothing specific to this in event logs. From the client side; PXE boot works and gets you to the Win PE launch, and it has the correct company logo as the background (proving to me that its loading win PE from the network). WPEINIT runs, and asks for domain credentials, here the team simply put User/Pass/Domain in the boxes and click ok. Normally the build would kick off. Instead they get an error message saying that the \NATBLU01\Distribution$ share isn't available. Checking \NATBLU01\Distribution$ shows that its there and accessible over the network. Security/permissions seem ok, even 'ANONYMOUS LOGON' has read access to that share so I don't see that being a problem. Digging the trace files from C:\MININT\SMSOSD\OSDLOGS\ after an attempt to run the build I can see an error saying much the same - <![LOG[Validating connection to \\NATBLU01\Distribution$]LOG]!><time="16:42:14.000+000" date="03-15-2012" component="LiteTouch" context="" type="1" thread="" file="LiteTouch"> <![LOG[FindFile: The file OSDConnectToUNC.exe could not be found in any standard locations.]LOG]!><time="16:42:14.000+000" date="03-15-2012" component="LiteTouch" context="" type="1" thread="" file="LiteTouch"> <![LOG[The network location cannot be reached. For information about network troubleshooting, see Windows Help.]LOG]!><time="16:42:24.000+000" date="03-15-2012" component="LiteTouch" context="" type="3" thread="" file="LiteTouch"> <![LOG[ERROR - Unable to map a network drive to \\NATBLU01\Distribution$.]LOG]!><time="16:42:24.000+000" date="03-15-2012" component="LiteTouch" context="" type="3" thread="" file="LiteTouch"> BDD.LOG shows much the same. Full copies of the .LOG files can both files be found here : BDD.LOG LITETOUCH.LOG I can get to a command prompt from the Win PE that boots from PXE, however there isn't any network stuff there. IPCONFIG returns nothing so none of the tests I would usually run resolve anything. I'm at a loss frankly. I did wonder if I could perhaps start a new build process but if the change to the DeploymentWorkbench has knocked it offline I don't think I'm going to be able to create a new deployment. Failing that; we do have a deployment point labeled type 'Media' which appears to be a DVD ISO image of one of the builds, but its dated 2008, is it possible to export the network build to .ISO and build from DVD? We are looking at new hardware to run this from anyway (for the impending Windows 7 roll out) so a temporary work round isn't going to be too much of a problem. All assistance is appreciated! EDIT : OK. Got it working again. Solution was close to Newmanth's idea. The problem was that our PE image didn't appear to be connecting the network. I had an older copy of the PE boot.WIM on a stick that I had been using for other purposes. I booted that and correctly got a network connection. Showed a correct internal IP and could ping out etc etc. However I was still getting the same errors in all the logs and in when wpeinit was running. What I did seperately was to update the PE image that DeploymentWorkbench was pushing out to display a different back ground. I wanted to prove that I was working in the correct place. Turns out that I wasn't. I went and looked at the other deployment stuff we had on this machine, Windows Deployment Services was installed and although all the install images are off line the boot image was online, so I uploaded the copy from my stick to that. Booted straight off. And fixed. Working. Yay! For anyone stumbling across this in the future you may find that although your deployment images are located in the DeploymentWorkbench, the Win PE boot image you are launching from is located in the associated Windows Deployment Services images.

For example: <Context docBase="/www/websites/site1/java/base" path="/base" reloadable="true"/> <Context docBase="/www/websites/site2/java/base" path="/base" reloadable="true"/> I have two sites that use the same path both running on the same server/IP. The sites use different virtual hosts and different ServerNames, but I have no control over the directory structure of the sites because they are maintained by a client. Until now, they have been content with only allowing one site to run at a time, but this is a major hassle, so I need to know if there's a workaround.
