    I have installed Eclipse PDT All-In-One and nothing works (I can edit PHP source but cannot execute any PHP Scripts). Do I also need to install my own PHP interpreter? Do I need XAMPP? WAMP? Cygwin? XDebug? Zend? I'm looking for the smallest amount of stuff that I need to install to get a working PHP IDE, starting with an empty install of Windows Vista.

    I have several select boxes and textboxes with the same class and I have the following statement. if ($('.selTxtClass:visible').val() == "") { $('.selTxtClass:visible').focus(); } } If I do an alert with ($('.selTxtClass:visible').val()) it comes as undefined. I want to check that the value of these elements are empty, but I cant see what is wrong with this if statement, could you give me a hand, please? Thanks a lot.

However one of the pages is using functions, etc, and I'm trying to figure out what the process is for converting this to an OOP setup.     I want to keep only the filenames (not full paths) and add the filename to some bbcode. Here is the HTML to be converted: <a href=/path/to/full/image.jpg rel=prettyPhoto><img rel=prettyPhoto src=/path/to/thumb/image.jpg /></a> Notice I cannot have rel="foo" (no double quotes).. Here is what I have in PERL, to perform the conversion: s/\<a href=(.+?)\ rel=prettyPhoto\>\<img rel=prettyPhoto src=(.+?) \/>\<\/a\>/\[box\]$1\[\/box\]/gi; This converts the HTML to: [box]/path/to/image.jpg[/box] But this is what I want as a result: [box]image.jpg[/box] The HTML must remain the same. So how do I change my PERL so that $1 contains only the filename?

  • Rails object inheritence with belongs_to

    I have a simple has_many/belongs_to relationship between Report and Chart. The issue I'm having is that my Chart model is a parent that has children. So in my Report model I have class Report < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :charts end And my Chart model is a parent, where Pie, Line, Bar all inherit from Chart. I'm not sure where the belongs_to :report belongs within the chart model, or children of chart model. I get errors when I attempt to access chart.report because the object is of type "Class" undefined local variable or method `report' for #< Class:0x104974b90 The Chart model uses STI so its pulling say.. 'Pie' from the chart_type column in the charts table.. what am I missing?

It appears that I will not be able to easily create dropdowns on demand, instead I will have to add the dropdowns before sending it to the client. What I need is : 4 Dropdowns Only the first dropdown is visible when first entering the page. When selecting an option from dropdown1 the dropdown2 will be populated and so on If there is only 1 option then the dropdown should be hidden If all 4 dropdowns are set and the end-user changes dropdown1, then dropdown2 should be reloaded and the rest be hidden If the user has selected some of the dropdowns (say 1, 2 and 3) and hit submit and the page is not accepted on the server side (not valid) the dropdowns should be set exactly as when the user clicked the submit button when the page returns to the user. Any suggestions on this?

  • Activate WPF command based on TextBox value

    This is MVVM application. I have form and related view model class. There is TextBox, Button and ListBox on form. Button is bound to DelegateCommand that has CanExecute function. Idea is that user enters some data in text box, presses button and data is appended to list box. I would like to enable command (and button) when user enters correct data in TextBox. Things look like this now: CanExecute() contains code that checks if data in property bound to text box is correct. Text box is bound to property in view model UpdateSourceTrigger is set to PropertyChanged and property in view model is updated after each key user presses. Problem is that CanExecute() does not fire when user enters data in text box. It doesn't fire even when text box lose focus. How could I make this work?
