  • jquery media conflict with swfobject

    Hi, If I use jquery media plugin WITH swfobject 2.2 I get an 'unknown runtime error' in IE. It works fine in FF and other browsers. If i remove swfobject.js then the media works fine as it loads using simple object/embed tags. But I need to use swfobject as well (for other things). Has anybody come across this or a fix? A.

    I have a table made up of a row of 3 input elements: Price, Quanity, and Total. Under that, I have two links I can click to dynamically generate another row in the table. All that is working well, but actually calculating a value for the total element is giving me trouble. I know how to calculate the value of the first total element but I'm having trouble extending this functionality when I add a new row to the table.     I've tried achieving a hover/selected color change for a particular field, but I'm thinking jQuery is the answer. I've looked into some button click tutorials, but maybe I'm not just seeing it or doing it correctly. The idea here is that when a user hovers over a Headline, the background color changes, when they click the headline to expand it, the background color remains constant (selected), however as it stands right now the background color of the expanded fields do not change.     hello, I have a problem with sizes of divs - in Firefox everything is fine, but IE messes things up, I use only jquery show hide function which open div with other divs nested in it, you can see what I mean on www.custos.pl/v1 - by choosing any option on the bottom, a div opens up, where you have a submenu opening up jScrollPanes, the whole div should stay within the photo background, but in IE it goes vertically way beyond it, Id appreciate your help

I am loading invoking 3rd party Javascript functions that examine these vales, such as Tweetmeme and Facebook). If I use: $('meta[name=some-name]').attr('content', 'some value'); it does work to set the value of an existing meta tag, but does not create a meta tag if such a named one does not exist.     I have a very simple bit of jQuery to retrieve my latest Tweet $.getJSON("http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/username.json?count=1", function(data) { $("#tweet_text").html(data[0].text); }); This works fine on a simple HTML file on my desktop. However, once the file is accessed from my localhost (apache) no data is being returned. I was wondering if any part of Apache was blocking the request somehow? Or any other ideas?
