  I'm facing an issue where I'm placing a task into the queue and it is being run multiple times. From the celery logs I can see that the same worker is running the task ... • Navigation Dropdown Text Color doesn't work in FF and IE

  Hello, I was able to get the navigation dropdown to show the letters in a different color from the background (white in this case) in Chrome browser. But when I view the same page in IE or FF, the whole background is just all green.   Hi, Before I ask my doubt, please consider this scenario that a user on my website have a profileID. With this profileID are associated some pluginID's. For eg: User1 might have 2, 3 and 5 plugins associated with its profile. When the user logs in, I store the profileID of the user in a session variable cod. At a certain page, the user tries to edit the plugins associated with his profile. So, on that page, I have retrieve those pluginID's from the DB. I have applied this code but this fetches only the maximum pluginID from the DB and not all the pluginID's. • conflicting cygwin and windows path

  if my windows path looks like this: c:\ruby\bin;c:\cygwin\bin then when i go into cgywin and enter "ruby" it will execute the ruby from c:\ruby\bin, failing to find the ruby installed in my cygwin. I have to exclude that path so cygwin would execute the one from /usr/bin. But i need those 2 paths, since i want to run ruby in windows too. Anyway to have cygwin have its own path and not inherit those in windows? thanks.

• Extracting note onset from Polyphonic MIDI using jMusic API

  Hi May I know whether it's possible to extract note onset and other musical details (e.g. pitch, note duration) form polyphonic MIDI(i.e. either multiples notes played from treble and bass voices, or chords) using the jMusic API? It has a method to extract note onset - but it returns zero each time for a given note. However extracting pitch and duration for monophonic (i.e. single note) MIDI using jMusic is possible. But when there exist chords it only captures a single note of the chord, and note onset returns zero each time. Is there a way I can resolve this? Appreciate any insight asap. Thanks in advance

  I'm working on a project where I take screenshots of individual monitors (TMonitor) and stream their images through network (remote desktop viewing). Suppose a monitor is added/removed (which I can recognize this already), I need to synchronize which monitor this happened to. Because, suppose there's 3 monitors, indexes 0, 1, 2. Monitor 1 is removed. I don't want to automatically change index 2 to 1, I want it to maintain an ID at all times. Is there any property I can recognize in the TMonitor class (Screen.Monitors[i]) to uniquely identify it?

In a for loop, I create the layouts with their textViews, and set only the first one to be visible. The problem is that only one TextView seems to be displaying, ie. if everything but summary is deleted, then summary will display. As of right now, only title will display, because i'm assuming it's the first one. I'm most likely doing it wrong, so any help would be appreciated.

• Common methods/implementation across multiple WCF Services

  I'm looking at implementing some WCF Services as part of an API for 3rd parties to access data within a product I work on. There are currently a set of services exposed as "classic" .net Web Services and I need to emulate the behaviour of these, at least in part. The existing services all have an AcquireAuthenticationToken method that takes a set of parameters (username, password, etc) and return a session token (represented as a GUID), which is then passed in on calls to any other method (There's also a ReleaseAuthenticationToken method, no guesses needed as to what that does!). What I want to do is implement multiple WCF services, such as: ProductData UserData and have both of these services share a common implementation of Acquire/Release. From the base project that is created by VS2k8, it would appear I will start with, per service: public class ServiceName : IServiceName { } public interface IServiceName { } Therefore my questions would be: Will WCF tolerate me adding a base class to this, public class ServiceName : ServiceBase, IServiceName, or does the fact that there's an interface involved mean that won't work? If "No it won't work" to Question 1, could I change IServiceName so it extends another interface, IServiceBase, thus forcing the presence of Acquire/Release methods, but then having to supply the implementation in each service. Are 1 and 2 both really bad ideas and there's actually a much better solution that, knowing next to nothing about WCF, I just haven't thought of?

The first part is easy: //e[@s = //e/@s] as is the second part: //e[@t != //e[@t]] But I don't see any way to construct an xpath that compares two different attributes for two separate elements "e". Is there a way within the xpath syntax, or is it hopeless?

  I have a string that has several date values in it, and I want to parse them all out. The string is natural language, so the best thing I've found so far is dateutil. • CSS fixed div. Avoid unwanted overlapping

  I've got a CSS layout made of 2 columns. the navigation column to the left is a fix div. It stays there while scrolling down the main content in the column to the right. The problem comes when I reduce the browser window, or zoom in: when scrolling the browser windom horizontally, the main content on the right starts overlapping the navigation column on the left. How can I fix it so that whatever the size of my browser window or my zoom level is, when i scroll horizontally the fixed div isn't overlapped but pushes the main column to the right?   I am trying to get 3 arrays sorted by one key array in objective c for the iphone, here is a example to help out... • How can I call an executable to run on a separate machine within a program on my own machine (win xp

  My objective is to write a program which will call another executable on a separate computer(all with win xp) with parameters determined at run-time, then repeat for several more computers, and then collect the results. In short, I'm working on a grid-computing project. The algorithm itself being used is already coded in FORTRAN, but we are looking for an efficient way to run it on many computers at once. I suppose one way to accomplish this would be to upload a script to each computer and then run said script on each computer, all automatically and dependent on my own parameters. But how can I write a program which will write to, upload, and run a script on a separate computer? I had considered GridGain, but the algorithm is already coded and in a different language, so that is ruled out. My current guess at accomplishing this task is using Expect (wiki/Expect), but I have no knowledge of the tool. Any advice appreciated.

  Can some one tell me if it is possible to submit two different iphone applications which has same Icon.png but have a different bundle name? I am working on a travel guide app that is targeted for different cities. I want the users of different cities to download the app as per their cities. So I want to submit different apps for different cities(3 in my case). User can also purchase any of these cities through in-app purchase. In that case the new purchased city would be unlocked in the app. Here is my thing. I want the same icon for all the three apps. I can do away with different names for app store and bundle(home screen icon name). But I am not sure if apple would approve/reject this app. Can someone enhance this blur picture I have?

  As I was looking through SO I came across a question about handling multiple message types. My concern is - how do I load such a message in a neat way? I decided to have a separate class with a method which loads one message each time it's invoked. This method should create a new instance of a concrete message type (say AlphaMessage, BetaMessage, GammaMessage, etc.) and return it as a Message. class MessageLoader { public Message Load() { // ... } } The code inside the method is something which looks really awful to me and I would very much like to refactor it/get rid of it: Message msg = Message.Load(...); // load yourself from whatever source if (msg.Type == MessageType.Alpha) return new AlphaMessage(msg); if (msg.Type == MessageType.Beta) return new BetaMessage(msg); // ... In fact, if the whole design looks just too messy and you guys have a better solution, I'm ready to restructure the whole thing.   I am trying to get/return multiple values from an SQL-Server database using and display them on an ASP.NET page. I am using a stored procedure to perform the SELECT command on the Database side. I am able to return the first value that matches the variable @PERSON but only one row is returned each time. Any help would be much appreciated.
