    I create my own FrameworkElement and override VisualChildrenCount{get;} and GetVisualChild(int index) by returning my own DrawingVisual collection instance.I have override OnRender . I will add 20-50 DrawingVisuals in this FrameworkElement ,every DrawingVisual will have 2000 line segments.The logic value of these points between 0 to 60000.when I zoom into 1:1 the FrameworkElement 's Height will be 60000, the rending time will be 15 minutes!! How do I improve the rending performance ?

  • How can I fill a rect with an alpha color using CoreGraphics?

    In my drawRect method, I am drawing a PNG image. On top of that, I want to draw a rect with a 20% alpha color, like this: [[UIColor colorWithWhite:0.0 alpha:0.2] set]; UIRectFill(rect); The problem is, that the alpha property seems to get ignored. No alpha is applied at all, just a black rectangle is drawn. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

What I am trying to do is: SELECT id, foo(id) AS 'text field' FROM a However, instead of calling the function for each ID number, like I desired, the text comes back the same for every row. I have tested the foo() function manually with the returned ID's and it does not have that problem, so I realize I must not understand something about the evaluation of the query.

    Hello, I am developing a software using C# 2.0 which uses about 200MB of memory and occasionally high CPU. The problem is, when i am leaving my machine idle for about 20-30 mins with the application running, after i come back and try to use the application, it freezes for about 2 mins, then becomes interactive.     This is a strange one. I have a Dev SQL Server which has the stored proc on it, and the same stored proc when used with the same code on the UAT DB causes it to delete itself!   • Form won't submit properly in IE

    Hi! My simple donation form submits properly except for Internet Explorer. I'm sure it has to do with issues with change() and focus() or blur(), but all my hundreds of attempts so far have failed me. I tried using .click() instead of change() as mentioned in this post:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/208471/getting-jquery-to-recognise-change-in-ie (and elsewhere), but I could not get it to work! ... so I am overlooking something simple perhaps.   • HLSL tex2d sampler seemingly returning incorrect values; why?

    Hello all, I have code that needs to render regions of my object differently depending on their location. I am trying to use a colour map to define these regions, then get a value (0-14) representing this region by sampling the texture. The problem is when I sample from my colour map, I get collisions. Ie, two regions with different colours in the colourmap get the same value returned from the sampler. I've tried various formats of my colour map. I set the colours for each region to be "5" apart in each case; Indexed colour RGB, RGBA: region 1 will have RGB 5,5,5. region 2 will have RGB 10,10,10 and so on. HSV Greyscale: region 1 will have HSV 0,0,5. region 2 will have HSV 0,0,10 and so on. The tex2D sampler returns a value [0..1]. To get the "region number" I multiply this by 100 and divide by 5, expecting a number [0..20].   • how do I get rid of the secure nonsecure warning on page with iframe under SSL with phishing filter?

    I have a page under SSL with an iframe that refreshes itself every 20 seconds through an HTTP refresh prgama. If I browse the site with IE7 and phishing filter enabled I receive secure-nonsecure content warnings in irregular intervals which cease if phishing filter is disabled. Does anybody have an idea what I can do in order to get rid of the warnings even if phishing filter is enabled?

    I have set up a SQL link server between an SQLserver 2005 on a W2003 R2 and a SYBASE 12.5.0.2 server on a IBM AIX H70 system. I use the Sybase ODBC driver 04.20.00.67 The problem is than most of the times (there is no pattern ) when I select rows from a Sybase table I get ONLY ONE ROW without any error. Please note that there is no problem when I insert rows from SQL server to the SYBASE server I appreciate any possible solutions...
