  • File uploading with ColdFusion, too big of file timing out?

    A client has the admin ability to upload a PDF to their respective directory and have it listed on their website. All of this works dandy until a PDF reaches a certain file size that makes the server time out. This causes an error and the file uploaded will not succeed. As mentioned in the title, we are using ColdFusion with a command. Is there any java/jquery/flash modules or applications that could resolve this issue?

  • How to login users that are stored within a Wordpress account

    I am developing an iOS app that is password protected and all the users are stored in a wordpress account that, of course, is password protected as well. Does anybody know the format that wordpress uses to store login information for these accounts, I would assume that it is a MySQL that sends a json? I have only been able to find the database code for the initial admin page but nothing that shows the way these accounts (815 to be exact) would be stored within the site.

    I have used tinybrowser with tiny mce as a plugin (My panel is php based). When uploading, there is link like this: www.****.com/dashboard/tiny_mce/plugins/tinybrowser/tinybrowser.php?type=image This link can open in all browser without permission. What is the solution in this case? Could I use admin panel's session control in tinyMce plugins?? Thanks in advance

    i have a web application that export CSV and i logged in as admin but what happened during the exportation the IE opens a new tab and export the CSV but what happens next when you click any of the link on the web app you will automatically logout!   • Pros & Cons of separating the controllers using subfolders on an ruby on rails app based?

Our team is moving ahead with the idea that separating the authenticated and public sections of our app in two separate folders will allow us to be more organized and secured. I have seen this approach for Admin apps within the site but never for authentication. We are currently using Authlogic. What would be the disadvantage of this? Thanks for your help.

After I do that I have to login as a Wordpress admin and use the GUI to edit a page so that it reflects the new file I just uploaded. I want to programmatically edit that file to save a few steps, but I can't find the file. Are any Wordpress files sitting on the server? The file in question is basically a subpage of the main site.

    On my work machine, I do not have the permissions to install anything, and astoundingly, there are not any version control software packages set up. I am using VS2008, and was hoping to work around depending on SourceSafe. I've talked to the network admin, and all I could get was "We don't have any version control set up."     I work in a small department in a very large company. Our department operates largely as a independent unit within the company. Each member of the team has a different role. My role within the team is a operations/admin and no one knew of my skills in programing as I never said anything before about it. I just did my work and in the free time read up on things for my own development Our developer who used to look after our websites has left a few months ago. Now when we require edits to our websites even basic HTML changes we outsource the work. We are getting shafted big time. I could of so said something sooner to highlight my skills in this area but I guess I was just happy to do my own development projects. And one reason was they are using asp.net and I have mainly done things in php. I only hinted before that I have done things but I did not want to reveal them before I had completed anything. I was working on something for myself that the company was also trying to implement something similar(e commerce site). I used open source and they decided to go for a propriety solution. Now I have finished my project and showed it to my boss, their project is still not completed and is quite expensive. He was impressed with what I showed him and suggested I should go for courses to learn asp.net. that I may be able to do the development work for them and there are some big upcoming projects in the future. He said this would be a benefit for me that I should look to be doing a better then role then admin. My employer does have a policy if relevent to the role they may support the costs of courses. Now how do I play this what should I say to my boss. I want to get advise on which MS certified courses would be good for asp.net and how to best approach my boss to see if they will pay all the amount for the course. And how much different will asp.net be from php.

  • Huawei b153 limit of devices

    I set up my home network all through this 3G wifi router. Problem is it only allows 5 devices to connect. That's not much especially if a wifi printer and gaming consoles keep hogging these slots. On the other hand I don't see the point on blocking these devices. They are (should) not doing anything online just intern in my network. The documentation I can find is surpirisingly unhelpful and focuses how to plug the device in a power socket. So what would be my options. Notes: I have already been able to get a shell on the device using ssh. It's running some Busybox. But I fail to find the how and where this limit is enforced/created. Notes 2: Specifically my device is a 3WebCube - unfortunately not specifically marked with the Huawei Model number.
