I delete my java program from java project in eclipse. The extension was .java and I don't know how to get back? I try (getdataback for NTFS) but I didn't get back my *.java file. Some solution?
Could someone explain to me what should two following lines do:
s.httpheaderline[s.httpheaderlineptr] = *(char *)uip_appdata;
++((char *)uip_appdata);
This is taken from uIP code for microcontrollers.
s - structure
httpheaderline - http packet presented as a string
httpheadrlineptr - integer value
uip_appdata - received ethernet packet (string)
If some more info is needed please let me know.
BTW. Eclipse is reporting an error on the second line with message Invalid lvalue in increment so i'm trying to figure out how to solve this.
In every modern day IDE and text editor, there is an action to open a file without putting your hand on the mouse. For example:
Eclipse: Cmd|Ctrl+Shift+R - Open Resource
IntellIJ: Cmd|Ctrl+Shift+N - Open File
TextMate: Cmd+T - Go to File
In Xcode, I have found no such options. Please, please tell me I just overlooked it in my growing frustration.
Is there a "Go to file" or "Open File" shortcut in Xcode?

I have a closed source Java application for which vendor has provided APIs for customization. As I have no other documents, i rely completely on the API's javadoc.
I want to trace what methods are actually called in different classes for a particular use case. Is there any way to do that with eclipse?
Hello
I'm looking for a piece of relatively simple software to browse large C++ project. What I would like is something that is somewhere between a simple text editor and a full-blown IDE like Eclipse. I would like syntax highlighting, a way to see all classes/methods defined in a file, a way to find where a particular method is called from and where a variable is declared/defined.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
Hi everyone. I'm looking for some Vs 2005-2008 Editor Tools like those one in NetBeans or Eclipse that auto insert a close bracket '}' or auto insert a line after an opening bracket '{'.
In general a tool that enhance the Editor. I know that resharper does some of the tricks but it is expensive for me.
Hi!
i would like to avoid texts like this one: height="49" with a regular expresion.
I tought in .replaceAll("\s*="*"","");
(replaceAll is used as a method in a java class), but eclipse don't allowed me to do that.
Any other suggestion??
tx!
I mostly use Eclipse but have mentionned Netbeans on my cv. Are there any good concise and up-to-date tutorials apart from the official ones that could bring me up to speed on how to use the platform efficiently (shortcuts, debugging, views ...)? This excludes programming tutorials as I don't really need them unless there's a special manipulation involved.
Hi all,
is there any tool that will give me a view for XML fields like so.
I want something that will show me the a view like so, if i select element1
Service/Body/element1
Is there any tool for eclipse for doing the above.
Thanks.
I'm using subeclipse plugin for eclipse for SVN. My project looks like this :
ProjectName\
- branches
- special_
- tags
- trunk
I have currently checked out project from special_ and I've modified and added one class, how can I merge the code which I updated/added to trunk ? I'll take anything into consideration

What do you think, what events/changes/news were the most significant in C++ world
Like
templates in the arena, including STL, boost
new standards - C++0x, TR1
The Qt library
MS managed C++
MPI, openmp, PPL
may be new IDE :) : eclipse,
netbeans, codeblocks, codelite
Loving the switch from Eclipse to NetBeans. Anyone know how to increase the number of lines scrolled using the mouse wheel in the editor window? Currently it only goes one at a time -- i'd like it to do at least three.
I use setLayout (null) and I'm trying to place the buttons and textfield places I know by x, y
The problem when I run the program no matter what software (Eclipse, bluej)
I need to run on the panel with the mouse until I stand on the position of the button and I can see it.
When I find the textfield, it is small and only when I start writing it became the size I set it
Does anyone know how to solve it?
I'm using maven to build the project and compile failed because I put class Test2 in Test.java,
but is it because of maven or simply because java itself doesn't support this?
BTW,how can I open a maven project with eclipse?
I have this loop
for (it= someCollection.iterator; it.hasNext(); )
{
//some code here
}
I changed it to:
for (it= someCollection.iterator;; )
{
if (!it.hasNext())
break;
//some code here
}
The second code ran a little bit faster in unit tests in junit on eclipse.
Is the second loop faster? I'm asking because the times given by Junit are not too exact, but they give an approximate value
I have a static library project in Eclipse that was compiled into a .a file. So now how would I use the functions and constants in that library? Would I just put in into my includes:
#include "mylib.a"
Hello,
I have a python program/file that I want to run repeatedly and calculate the averages of some variables over these runs. To do so, I thought it might be convenient to convert this program into a function or a class. One way I can think of is to add a
def Main():
line at the top and indent every line manually within it. Is there an easier way? I am using pydev on eclipse.
Thanks.
I am new in android and using eclipse.
How can I Randomly view an image (images are saved in res/drawable) and the sound that belong that image (sounds are saved in res/raw). Thank you.
Hello, do you know any cross-platform gui toolkit like swt for C (using default widgets in each operating system = right pics on eclipse.org/swt) ? There is an implementation of swt for D language called DWT but I need it for C or C++. Thanks.
I need to scan class or jar file that implements or extend a specific class.
It's the same mechanism that Eclipse use to scan the plugin presence.
There is a way to do this ?
Just wondered if anything like that exists? Certainly in Eclipse it does.
A small window like the solution window listing all the methods in the active class would be great
Any ideas?
Thank you
